it has been claimed on the edl's facebook group that some thugs damaged property while at stoke and that it has also been claimed that an oap's windows were smashed ,at the moment the edl is being branded a bunch of thugs by the media and this is not what we need if it is true that prpoerty was damaged by thugs and i dont think this was done by true edl members surly it would be a good thing for the edl to set up some sort of paypal fund were true members can donate some cash ,were the edl can pay for repairs to damaged property ,surly such an act on the part of edl will bring good publicity to the edl and it could help change the bad image that we are geting from the media at the moment ,i dont know of any other group that does this ,i have posted on the facebook groupe about this and so far the responce has been good about it ,so im asking the edl if they could set this up and post a link on to facebook were we can donate to this ,and post some pictures of any repair work done by the edl there are over 13000 members of edl on face book if we just put a pound in thats 13 grand that could be used to repair damage done by non edl thugs that claim to be edl ,it would be good to hear your thoughts about this please. |

Yes I agree some poor people suffered at the hands of a few idiots, I saw a few house windoows smashed and a jag window, the flower shop also suffered. I have lots of film of the protest and my freind witnesed the kids smashing the windows, I will get him to look through and see if he can point any out. |

I heard the windows go through and seen the woman with tears in her eyes, the little f**kers who done it should hang their heads in shame. They disgraced every good Englishman and woman with their actions. Fighting with the police is one thing and none of us are complete angels myself included, but damaging peoples hard earned property is a disgrace. I don't have a paypal account anymore, but I will give the money to someone who has to pay. |

I'll definatly contribute... I wasn't there yesterday but herd n seen loads on live feeds... Maybe they should cut the drinking out till after... Or even so have an age restriction on it.. I'm not saying all young people are like that but as said by gixer600 people boasting about destroying property and upsetting people it's out off order |

I think someone said they got gripped but I don't know if this is true or not, I only heard it and seen the aftermath. A very low low point for me on the day. |

ok .. my pov .... insurance would pay for the damage.... what would be far better is a bunch of flowers and box of choclates to the lady concerned ... we cant pay for the damage to the car, why ... because that is an admission of guilt .. can anyone actually 110% say it were a member of the EDL that did it ? could easilly been a local, or C18 or BNP .... hell could had been a UAF inflitrator .... The flowers / choclates would be imho much more sensitive gesture from the EDL. It would demonstrate that we take it to our heart that minless violence such as this is not acceptable and that it is our way of saying sorry for what has happened. |

at all the other demos its been one way in and one way out with some good lads at the front stoping anything kicking off and keeping a safe gap between the lads and the police but this demo had to many exits so you had no good lads at the front to stop it from kicking off |
