Don't want this turning in to a pro-BNP topic so lets stay on subject, hats off to him for showing his respects but where have all the other politicians been hiding? Makes you wonder eh. |

I knew it was going to be Nick Griffin. He's the only Political leader who gives a toss about Britain and the British public and yet for some reason is the most hated politician and a subject of vile propaganda campaigns. Gay Gordon sends a letter that looks like it was written by a two year old, Nick Griffin takes time out of his schedule to actually pay a visit to pay his respect to the soldiers. |

What bollocks! Go give your head a run under cold water lad. He supports the Gurkas right to stay. If you listened to him when asked he states he is happy with them coming here as long as they integrate ect., Don't believe everything you read in your daily rag! Also well done Nick, as others said he's shown respect. Where were other MPs? P.S. Also would it be a cheap publicity stunt if say David C or Gordan B turned up? Pretty much doubt you'll give it a 2nd look. TWAT!

Other politicians have stated that they wouldn't attend a repatriation ceremony to 'avoid accusations of trying to make political capital out of the deaths of British soldiers' that to you and me is code for 'i'm to lazy to turn up so i'll make up some s**t statement about political gain' Fair play to griffin for making the effort. |

Sorry I'm not a fan of Griffin by any stretch of the imagination, but that was a cheap shot from you. I'm sure the guy was very genuine about this, no party politics. It's the death of troops here, not some university jamboree. It is no place for politics, and any politician from whatever party should be allowed there with not a word said about why weren't they there before and all that bollocks. They are there and that's that. |

dont agree with a lot the bnp stand for but can say the same for labour; i think all leaders of all parties should have been there, except brown who with his pal blair took britian into this illeagle and never ending war. agree with griffin our troops should be back here defending the uk boarders; and arresting militant islamics |

I don't like Griffin and I like grief ghouls even less, but the man was paying his respects (refused to discuss politics) and has every right to do so - I applaud it. As others have said from 2001-2009 politicians attending repatriations have been conspicuous by their absence. Guilt does that. |
