There's a debate about halal if anyone is interested:

As for this topic, they should add a kosher section too if they want to be 'culturally sensitive.'

In that case the EDL should start a campaign and urge people to support their local English butcher and not buy meat from ASDA.Hit the bastards where it hurts most,in their pocket.

Boycott halal food, yes.

A "halal" product is a product :
- made according to sharia (the butcher cuts the animal throat without stunning it before)
- (but also !) taxed by mosques...

When you pay a halal product,
1 - you pay the VAT like for any product
2 - you pay another tax (halal tax) which goes to the mosques center where, in some case, people are told to make jihad against Non-Muslims.
