Canterbury might be worth considering as Rowan Williams said that certain elements of the Sharia were inevitable in the UK.Perhaps the EDL should send this appeaser a message that it isn't inevitable and its not going to happen. My personal feeling is that he should be replaced by the Bishop of York who is a true Christian.Williams is no more than an airy headed Oxford academic who will never stand up for Christian values.

not sure on that one, first I have heard. It would be very hard to stop a static demo.

I may criticize the EDL a bit, but I support the cause 100%.
Armchair division. I may not go to demos, but I'm there in spirit.

Bristol would be handy for me, about a 2 hour drive from the valleys,
Hereford not that far away as well.

Jack straws home would be good
If the Goverment had listened to the British and white working class concern about Islam in British and White working class communities than maybe the EDL would not of formed. All we want is a voice to express our opinions without being regarded a "racist" or "islamaphobe" but then again the goverment depends on devision in poor communities.

Freedom is not free.

Even if 'EDL' don't go there officially, nothing to stop people going as SIOE ;)

You can go to an EDL demo one week, Labour party the next, then even UAF should you so desire. My vote is, if it's near enough to you, then jump aboard (but follow whatever rules they have etc).

I think that we should target the Saudi embassy, they are the cause of a lot of this extremism.

Guys, I am from a small town near Leeds. In order to educate te public to the cause you ALSO need to hold demos in traditional english areas, where it could be relatively peaceful and hand out leaflets. It's these areas that are complacent to the problem. Perhaps not big demos in these areas, but informing the public should be a major aim of the EDL. Doing cities all the time is not going to spread the message, when all the majority brits will do is say "oh look at those idiots on tv" again...
