I looked at this with shock after I read the strange file with my name on it on my Father's bed. My Power? What the hell was going on? And who is this Petrelli guy? My dad walked in. Apparently he was back from his business trip early. I quickly folded up the paper and slipped it into my pocket. "Hey Dad, back from your business trip early?" I said. "No, the shipment was canceled. Scholastic decided to buy from another paper company. Apparently they don't know Primatech's the best there is," said my Dad with a chuckle. "Yeah," I said lying through my teeth. All of the hints over the years led me to believe my Dad didn't work at a paper factory, but I couldn't disprove it, so I never asked him about it, but now I had hard proof. After dinner IU approached my Dad who was watching TV in his room. He wasn't with anyone else because my Mom had died shortly after I was born. It was just me and him. "Hey Dad, while you were gone, I noticed something in your room. A file. It said something about my power, and something about a guy named Peter Petrelli, that's all I read before you came in." I said "What do you mean?" questioned my Dad. "Right here." I pulled the paper out of my pocket and gave it to my Dad. "Where did you find this?" asked my Dad. "I told you, right on your bed." I responded. "Damn, how could I have been so sloppy. And the Hatians with Bennet now. This is quite a predicament." "What the heck do you mean?" I asked. "Tony, you're not my real son," my Dad said with a serious look on his face. He sure as hell wasn't lying. "But I thought --" "You never had a mother. Primatech gave you to me. They said I'd have to tell you eventually, but you have an ability. An evolutionary trait. The only problem is, we don't know what it is." "Who's my real mother and father then?" "Your mother is a lady named Meredith Gordon. She died in a fire, we rescued you, and your twin sister, well, she died in the fire. We don't know about your father though." Wow. I was truly and utterly shocked. "Dad, this sounds completely crazy, but if I have an ability, and it's like this Peter guy's ability, what's his?" "Emphatic Mimicry" "What?" "He can absorb the powers of others." "There are others?" "Yeah" "Wow, and what do you think mine is right now." "Limited Mimicry." 'Which is...?" "Being able to copy someone's ability when you're around them. "Sweet." "This might not be a ood thing. I'll tell you more tommorw, but you can't tell anyone about this tommorow. Not even Joe. "Gotcha." "Good, now go to sleep."

Check the Rules and Guidelines thread, in the "Heroes RPG" subforum, because there are somethings you probably didn't understand very well. First you have to post your character's info (also in the Heroes RPG subforum) then you write the origins here inside "Character Journey". Also, we would prefer if you didn't use that many Heroes references. I think your chapet is cool but it suits the Fan Fiction forum better, for now. Sorry if I sound picky and annoying... it's just that it would be better if it fit the rules a little more.

While maybe a reference to Takezo Kensei is permitable, keep in mind that he is supposed to be dead (regardless if Adam, Hiro, is alive now), anything this close and personal is really cutting into the reference cookie jar. The only things that really should be referenced is the symbol and the eclipse (not really the same one for the show, but at least it's a parallel, as in reference to the one on January 1, 2007, that will start Dustin's Mansion RPG storyline) As for a power name: You can use Empathic Mimicry but like I said in the list of powers thread, you need to have a limit, whether it's distance or length of time. 24 Hours is the Maximum.

I'll cut out that Claire reference, because my intention was just to mention that once and never have it in there again, but what you're saying abput it being too close to the story is sensical. Ok, I'll post it in the character info thingy.
