Since our characters will interact, during the RPG, in the same universe, they are bound to meet recurring characters, so we should have at least a small amount of these. My idea for a Company/Company-like employee is 'CC' (short for Celine Clark). She is similar to the Haitian because she messes with memories, but instead of jus erasing them, she creates false ones (like she can make someone 'remember' seeing you character commit a crime). Company-style adopted child, she is only 20 and quite unreliable. If she is ordered to mess with someone's memory in order to hide what the Company did to that person, she might go over-creative and make this person believe to have been climbing the Everest, winning an Academy Award, this kind of thing. She's always being grounded by her Company parent/parents. I think it's nice to have an unpredictable villain-ish character. Short, thin, asian, with long, shiny black hair. Looks sweet and helpless, so people never seem to imagine what she is capable of. Edited by LuneFleur, Jan 22 2008, 04:57 AM.

Great Idea, Lune Thompson/HRG like character (but more like Thompson) is Ms. Toad, she's a heavyset girl, sorta of resembling a toad. She has almost unlimited financial needs (whether it's due to a power, remains to be seen; maybe not exactly her, but maybe a boyfriend or something), while she is an executive for The Company, she does not usually work there as she has her own company. She is mysterious, and she may or may not bag and tag people like HRG did, but she will if the character has a great power (Like cryokinesis, or something, Dustin Brampton is safe, but she will Cameo his origins) Which brings me to my HRG NPC Character called Stephen. Stephen looks for similar to Noah Bennet or at least he does in the shadow. But in the light he looks completely different. He does not wear glasses, and he's a lot more morally Gray then HRG would be comfortable with. He gets frustrated a lot, and he is punchy. He works for Ms. Toad and he searches lesser powered people (Like Dustin Brampton), but he's not afraid to go for tougher ones. He travels with (In Dustin's Origins, with John (an illusion caster)) many different powered people, depending on the person, He carries an anti person (someone with a power to counteract the power someone has, or if that's not the case, someone with the exact same power; ooh mysterious) In Beth Stone's origins there seems to be a great Eastern Mohinder Character named Seth Brand. I'm hoping there is a Western Mohinder character, hopefully a female version. Remember these are just suggestions, right now. I may or may not implement, Ms. Toad or Stephen. But hopefully will make someone up and quick. |

I loved Ms. Toad! She could be a total control freak, really bossy, wearing a lot of perfume and only ridiculously high priced clothes and... be CC's 'aunt' - so CC wouldn't have adoptive Company parents, but a Company 'aunt'/godmother/guardian who legally will be the equivalent of a parent, with really a strict mother's authority over CC. |

:) About the doctors, I do have another "good doctor" in mind, but he wouldn't work as another Mohinder (BTW, two Mohinders? If they were both guys, I'd say this is my idea of heaven, hahahaha). I haven't really given up on the would-be HU third character Ardeth, so if we end up having 2 characters here, he will be my 2nd. He is a medical doctor, and not a specialist in genetics. He is also the love of Alice's life, I've given hints in her origins already. |

well I feel that having only one mohinder character limiting, how is Dustin supposed to talk to Seth Brand, since Seth lives in florida and Dustin lives in Idaho (not that it matters, just giving an example) and as for the gender, I feel a lovely, young female genetist, will also help some, male characters feel more open. Also, yes at some point you can have 2 characters, but for now, no, by the way what is Ardeth's power? |

If you need a partner for a human, One of Us, One of Them style, you can use Chameleon from Ashes's story. He has a near-invisibility power; for an idea of what it's like, look at the Camo in the Halo games. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Active_Camouflage Only difference, when he's standing still, he's completely invisible. His real name and past are shrouded in mystery (for now!), but his face is horribly burned and he is very afraid of fire. Even a lit match makes him flinch. |

Son of a bi- my subconscious did it again. I put a guy into my origins, and his name is Chameleon, and well he's a pretty normal guy except for his blending power. Which is a better version of invisibility, you can't see him, touch him or hear him (unless he wants you to). I made him Dustin's ability guardian, you know make sure Dustin doesn't use his ability inappropriately. Oh damn, I can't believe I did that. There are some other changes as well to Dustin's story, Stephen and John don't exist. Ms. Toad still is a main ominous figure in my story and she'll go after Dustin for a completely different reason. I mean yes it's still about his ability but there's a difference. Which you'll learn in the origins when I finish it. OminousShadow87 if you want me to change Chameleon, I could try editing it. I can't believe my subconscious did that. |

lol your villianous subconcious! That's actually funny because on this other site, my main character is Chameleon and I'm going to "kill" him off, only for him to return later, his powers incredibly magnified in a way similar to how you described! If you just change the name, you can leave him the same. He doesn't have burns anywhere does he? lol that'd be some true subconcious treachery |

On another note, how could Dustin use his power inapproiately? Unless he's using it to look through women's clothes...but that would be worth it lol |

No, he's actually pretty average in appearance (not that I describe him, I leave that up to the readers). The only personality quirk I gave him, was instead of talking to people he would leave post it notes, but he does talk to people. Maybe he prefers syping on people than talking to them personality. So now I have to come up with a different name. As for trouble on why Ms Toad would think his ability woud be trouble click the spoiler: But "Chameleon" doesn't want Dustin using it in a way that gets him in trouble (broadcating his "special" status) . Spoiler: click to toggle I just hope people will like my story. |

You could just give him a real name. Like John. The real name of Chameleon I'm using is Archie Winters. Use, like, thesaurus.com or something. |

I did, Hayden Camille. Hayden because it's similar to hidden. And Camille, because it's close to Chameleon. Though I did have to change a particular scene in one of my chapters, because of the name change. So it won't be nearly as good as it was but I think I made it neat. I'll point it out when I post the chapter. Also I did a prediction of how many chapters I would have left, I have 10-11 chapters left, sepending on if you count the one I'm working on. Just to warn you now, the chapter lengths vary. It's hard to get two pages exactly per chapter, so some chapters might be short, while others are longer than the two pages. |
