1. Limit the number of heroes (the show) references to a minimum (The symbol and the eclipse are an the exclusion to that rule, since I'm hoping all these characters will look at an eclipse despite scientific evidence behind it (how not everyone can see an eclipse at all points of the world)

2. You can use the company only if you don't use any employees found on the show, but suggestions for a global NPC employee that you can all implement in your origins will be appreciated.

3. Character Origins should end, in a reference that most people will believe is a solor eclipse (Example: John was looking down and a huge shadow fell over him and he looked up) or something like that. As for a specific date, I am still working on the exact timeline the canon storyline will take place, so check back here as frequently as you can

Okay people have been confused as to where things go, so I will try and explain the best i can, if any staff members want to add to it, to make it less confusing, they can

Okay, you just clicked on Heroes RPG and there are 4 sub-forums at the top and as you scroll down, there are character bio's (Note: from now on this will be known as "The Heroes RPG Forum"

Now go back up and read the four sub forums (Character Journey, The Eclipse, Dimensional Portal, and The Time Machine)

Okay now go ahead and make a character in "The Heroes RPG Forum" that you feel comfortable (if haven't already. Okay got one, good. Now this character's Origins go into "Character Journey" not any where else.

Okay now look back at the 4 sub forums again and I'll explain all four in greater detail as best as I can:

1. Character Journey is the origins of the character you made in "The Heroes RPG Forum"

2. The Eclispse is the actual RPG game, and will not be posted in until otherwise noted (so for now, anything in that forum, except rules and guidelines will be deleted)

3. Dimensional Portal- Is pretty much do what you want to your character as long as it is not considered "Canon" Like if your character is 19 as of 2008, you may have him be in world war one, but scientifically that is impossible, so it wouldn't fit in with "The Eclipse" storyline.

4. Time Machine: This one is important so be careful not to misconstrue anything. This forum is set off more than the other 3 sub forums and even The Heroes RPG Forum, so basically they have nothing to do with each other. Were you a part of another Heroes RPG but it got deleted? This is where you go (with one exception and I'll explain later) Here your character should have his/her bio and Origins all in one thread.

The exception: Only if you want to make a new character in regards to The Eclipse Storyline should your "old" character even cross paths with the "Time Machine" however if you do not want to have a new character and want to keep you "old" character as part of the RPG storyline. Then your character Bio should go in The Heroes RPG Forum and their Origins in "Character Journey"

I hope that explains all the confusion, and I hope you understand everything.

There may be more rules so check back here.

Okay it's been decided, your Origins should end on January 1st, 2007 and in reference to an eclipse.

An example:

John looked down in disgust, and as he did, a huge shadow covered the ground, and John in surprise looks up.

This will reference the eclipse and it'll help us start the storyline.

:yay:

The rules look pretty clear to me.

I have another idea, but I don't think it's necessary. If everyone finished their Origins in the same part of the world - let's say, around US, Canada and Mexico - then it wouldn't be that scientifically incorrect for everyone to see the eclipse.

It definately would help if all character remained in the same general area, so we can interact; come the main storyline.

So:

If at possible, make your character's origins (end), around the 3 countries Lune mentioned, which shouldn't be that hard since The Storyline will involve your character in those countries anyway (well maybe the U.S. more than Canada or Mexico, but your character origin should at least end in those 3 countries.

If you can't, then we may have to ignore Scientific fact.

Even though this is fiction, I'd at least like that part of science left fact, just because the world is round and some parts of the world would be dark (because of nightime therefore negating the possibility of an eclipse) Unless you want 2 moons and 2 suns
:lolwut: :roflmao: Just kidding.
