I have been looking at bodies for the past few days. I have always liked the look of the HPI Trueno AE86. I think Teresa bought me one for Christmas?? I hope! I really like the detail in Seans Yokomo so I have been looking at them also. But they are not cheap. The body's are $55 + $25 shipping and if you want light buckets add on another $8. I really like the Yokomo Team Samurai FC3S. http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/product/drift/mr4tc_cm/album/dp_tsfc/index.html The Hayashi AE86 Levin looks good also. http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/product/drift/mr4tc_cm/album/dp_ae86l/index.html All of the Yokomo bodies can be found here. http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/product/drift/mr4tc_cm/album/index.html What is everyone else going to run? Yeah I like that one also. I think I would be happy with any of the Yokomo AE86 bodies. |

Yeah the old M3's are cool. Tamiya used to make one, not sure if they still sell just the body. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=58323 |

I am definitely planning on getting a new body. The droop AE86 is tempting. But, I like the Sylvia's better. THIS is what I am thinking about. You can't beat the quality of a Yokomo body. They have so much detail and body moldings built into them. You don't need to buy a RUN FREE kit. It's already part of the body! I've run mine for most of the season and it's still in one piece with no major cracks. The stickers are tough to do, especially the big ones that cover the detailed hoods and quarter panels. Yokomo all the way!

I had not seen that one. But oddly enough I found the same Toyo decal kit on Ebay last night for about $15 shipped. I think it was a copy. |
