Ok, so my first body I did was a silver IS300. My 1:1 is a IS300 so I tend to like this body lol... I have some cleaning up to do still on the windows, I want to add a window sticker to the back glass (working on this). I made a custom carbon fiber front lip from the left over lexan trimmings. I think it turned out pretty good. There is a little glue on the top that I need to clean off as well. Going to try to clean all this up tomorrow and get some pics outside soon. This time I have also made my own stealth mount so no more body posts (pictures at very end). For this I cut down my body posts, got a 4x40 screw thats 1/2" in length and drilled it into the the post. This allows me unscrew it to raise the level for different bodies. From there I mounted 2 rare earth magnets on the top of these. On the inside of the body sits a metal plate that attaches to the magnets. The body appears to be really secure I am sure it wont take a really hard hit but I plan this to be my comp only body so it should not get slammed. On to the pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Is the CF look layered? How did you get that effect of a V? |

ya its a 3 part process. first you lay down a a couple coats of smoke/window tint paint. Then you put down some double sided carpet tape (gives it the fiber look), than back it with a black. I got the "v" in it by the way I applied the carpet tape. |

Its got a few blemishes but learning more with each body, so next one should be great unless I add more detail lol |

Ya, already thinking about next body and maybe doing a full interior, some canards on the front bumper, vertical spoilers on/under rear bumper. Need to get started this is going to take a long time lol |

Looks good. I have always liked the is300. What brand body is it? Never been a fan of the widebody look but it's growing on me. Before I ordered my mustang body I searched for the Tamiya is300 but being discontinued it was just to much$ |
