Yay new post of the year! Im celebrating workin on this car, thats what happens when you have kids and a wife. You have to work on things late at night so no one bugs you, you listening Siso? I can totally relate to that. It's been a really great holiday break - although I only accomplished ~20% of my r/c goals, I was able to spend time w/my kids and that's obviously more important and more rewarding. My youngest is 15 and because the older ones are adults, I don't get nearly as many opportunities to spend time w/them as I'd like. That's life - they're busy - and it makes the time we do spend together more important and meaningful.
Sorry to ramble off topic.

Nah dont worry about rambling, if we dont we just end up talking to ourselves and thats never good. My oldest is 14 and youngest is 2 and all he wants is the cars, cars, cars, cars, which I guess its a good thing since he is the future and he will know all about these cars and their history as he gets older. Which is why I shot for next spring to get this restore done, since I work full-time and start school again next week full-time, my rc habit gets put way on the back burner. So i guess its late night tinkering for me, and ill try to get more pix up this weekend of my F**ED UP job stripping the gold anodize from the shocks and motor plate.
TIP#1 - BUY A DREMEL! It makes sanding and polishing go by much faster then by hand.

Did some plastic dyeing, gave anodizing a shot and assembled some of the front end. Gonna try and get all my painting done this weekend and hopefully win some vintage a-arms tomorrow night.

Yeah I'm listening. I have to work on my cars when the wife goes to bed too. Let me know if you want to borrow the VXL system and a lipo and break the RC10 back in the right way.
