Parking Lot Racing?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in parking lot racing - nothing too serious, nothing highly organized or overly competitive but something which might add to the fun of drifting - an occasional change up.

I think it could be fun. If another car wasn't an option, could participating be as simple and inexpensive as only swapping out the set of drift tires with a set of sticky ones? That would be inexpensive and very fast to make the conversion.

What think ye?

I'd like to have something that would be "not too high tech" but would have some grippy tires and would hold fast turns. I think driving different cars would help me improve skills with each.

Either way, it'd be fun.

An HPI F1 car would be awesome - they're pretty inexpensive too. Do they require much upgrades in order to be reliable?

the hpi car is good enough out of the box but it needs a ball diff to be good.

I have a 1/10th Scale E Revo. I will run it on the street. The fastest I have had it up to is 68.7 mph. That was on Road Rage tires. Now I'm running Badlands, so no traction for my on street now :sadno:
