This is just me doing some drabbles on Amadeus. I'm kinda hoping some little role plays can involve him.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The energy of the Warp battered against him like an ocean current, pulling and twisting him violently. It felt to Amadeus that his body, his very soul, was being stretched and pulled apart. The runes and medals on his armor glowed fiercely, almost like they were on fire, as they tried to protect the Astartes from the energies of the Warp. They were far from enough to handle this level of power.

But they kept him conscious, which in many ways was more a curse than a blessing. The Warp was a place made from the psychic energy of all sentient beings in the universe, and dark things roamed its currents. Daemons, ghosts, lost ships.

Dark gods.

He was conscious, if barely. He knew, from what scraps of will he could gather, that he would most likely die here. He would either be torn apart by the energies of the Warp or by any of the foul abominations that scoured its currents and the planets residing inside it. He would meet this fate without fear, for he knew that he had to uphold the honor of the God-Emperor. He was of the chosen warriors. An Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine. Cowardice had no place with him.

This is why it came as a very great shock when he fell through a particularly strong current and out of the Warp, falling from the air about twenty feet and hitting the ground like a sack of metal.

His armor, and his genetic enhancements, allowed him to shrug off this paltry impact with ease. Even so, he lay there for a few seconds, wondering at the fact that he was still alive. But this was momentary, and he pushed himself to his feet in order to take stock of his situation.

His armor was undamaged. His runes and sacred medals still glowed with residual Warp energy, but this was only natural. He would have to check them later to see if they were still functional. In all honesty, it was a miracle they hadn't melted. But this did not hold much surprise for him. For how could the holy equipment of the Imperium possibly be anything less than miraculous?

He had his Bolter and his Chainsword, both undamaged. His other weapons had been lost to the Warp currents. But this was enough for him to handle anything hostile.

His helmet indicated that the atmosphere was breathable, but when it calculated his position in space by analyzing the orbital satellites he let out a gasp.

"This is... Holy Terra?"

Something very strange had happened, and Amadeus wondered if he would be able to figure it out before it was too late.

D'awww. This doesn't really give me much of his personality though.. ): But hey! You're writing again! Hahaha, after all, we all know I love to read your writings!

Maybe when we all get time again we can RP... But inbetween work and school and university prep. GUH. It'll work somehow.

Never stopped writing, Marie. Just been writing other things for other people. I've two stories I hope to get published in a few years, and a webcomic that will hopefully be posted in a few months.

And this gives you plenty of his personality. He is a zealot, a fanatic. He's faced with imminent death and the only thing he's thinking of is "I wish I could have done more for the God Emperor."

It also gives you quite a bit of the world he lives in. He lives in a universe that has the Warp. A very nasty place where all sorts of terrors lurk. and he fights them, as well as hostile aliens, daily. He's been doing it for over 100 years. And you see his opinion of the Imperium as well. It's HIS creation, thus it is holy. And now he's on Holy Terra, where the Emperor rests in life support on the Golden Throne, but its different. As the next chapter will show.

Oh, I gathered *that* much. But it strangely didn't satisfy me in a certain area. Hm. Perhaps the next part will help me realize what I want to learn about this one- I'm actually neither here nor there with it. Something needs to tug me to an attraction to it. It'll hit me in a bit- right now its just a slight blank -_-;

Oh?! A web-comic? =D Do share! I'm curious- because you very well know I enjoy reading what you write.

That's because it's short, and all his true colors require that he have an enemy. Said enemy could be much of anyone really, seeing as he's a sociopath. This man is definitely not a good person, though he believes himself to be. He's a prime example of an opinion not being in line with reality. So he could be the antagonist of many roleplays.

He's also damn near unkillable to most things, so he's got durability. Throw whatever you want at him, have fun with it. He can take it.

All I'll reveal right now is a name. Bloody Wind. Love, loss, and guns. It's an apt enough description, for now.

I actually wasn't under the impression you held my writings in such high esteem. I mean, you expressed enjoyment over some, but I never gathered that you enjoyed them this much. Guess I missed it.

I always admire writers =D Its a thing I have when I read things I like, I always end up following that person's other works because I like to indulge myself in different styles and all that. Oh, but the sound of the character makes it sound like something I'd enjoy reading. Bleh, I'm weird- whatever LOL

I enjoy things that are different- your style is more blatant than mine so its intrigues me to read it. : D You have a few masculine hand for writing, 'who, what, where, when, why' instead of my feminine style that has to take a roundabout description to get my point across LOL

You have always had a thing for sociopaths, as I recall. Amadeus is certainly that.

I can be round-a-bout and vague when I need to be, but just like angst it shouldn't be used too much too often. Get to the point, especially in the beginning. Get all the basic facts out there. Then all the world building gets out of the way and one can focus purely on the characters, allowing for their actions and dialogues to define them. No to mention their reactions to the world that has been established early on. Any needed twists and turns can come after that, as they will have a bigger impact after the world is set. Essentially, establish a norm, and any needed twists will change the norm in at least some small way, giving it an impact.

I wouldn't really call this a masculine style, as I have read many women using it. It's also, in a way, the style used in reporting. I don't see style in "masculine" or "feminine." I tend to view it as simply a blending of different methods, which can apply to either gender.

Kingsword Technologies had always been a small industry, usually barely managing to hang on with the larger and more powerful businesses. They dealt with many technologies, mostly revolving around army contracts and prosthetic limbs. It wasn't much for them, but it kept the business alive.

Suddenly, however, the business exploded with new, highly advanced technologies. Cheaply made, but very advanced, prosthetics that could move like a person's original limb, advanced weaponry as well as smaller and more powerful computer technologies. With all this new tech, Kingsword Technologies grew from a small company to a growing powerhouse in the financial market in less than a few months.

For those who had an interest in such things as advanced technologies and the market, they were the talk of the town. How had this little known company grown so quickly? Where did they come up with all this fantastic technology? It was looked into some, but nothing was found after piercing the surface a little so everyone just assumed that the scientists and engineers employed there had just hit a brainstorm.

Of course, everyone knows what they say about assuming.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

"This armor is amazing." One white coated technician said with something akin to awe in his voice as he looked upon various bits of data on a computer screen. "We've just barely scratched the surface and we've already created a better way to repair the human body artificially."

"Yeah, but the guy it came with is kind of wacky. I mean, where'd he come from? Not to mention all the secrecy he keeping us to."

"Who cares? I mean, reverse engineering all this is going to step up the tech market hundreds of years before its time."

"And you don't mind that we're supplying the best stuff to this wacko?"

"Not a bit. Just the chance to play with this tech beats even the money involved."

Though the two chatting technicians did not know it, Amadeus could hear them. Lyman's ear had many uses, after all. He ignored them though. They and the many others employed by the rapidly growing company had said similar things before in the last few months. He didn't really care, especially since their location was several hundred feet below the ground.

This would be his sanctuary, his place of rest and resupply. It would be hear that he would have the means, no matter how inferior to the technology of his own time, to purge the heretic and the daemonic to ensure the holy Emperor's future plan went smoothly.

And now that he had this place, it was time to hunt.

- - - - - -

And there you go. Kind of crappy, but it gets the info out. Now he can be in some future stories since he has a place to go back to a supply himself.

Kind of a mix of jacking and bribing. He needed a steady supply of supplies, and now he can go and find information.
