Current marvel Film Chronology

Posted Image

So far there has been Iron man and the Incredible Hulk.... but where do they all fit in?

With the release of Iron man 2 there will be three films in the current chronology of the marvel "avengers" universe

Director John Favreau has stated on his twitter account That Iron man 2 will fit in before the events on the Incredible Hulk so it seem the current order of the movies is

Iron man
Iron man 2
The Incredible Hulk

So it seems the hulk was inf act visited along time after the Hulk, verifying Iron man was so far the first member picked for the team. Of course with the release of Captain American and Thor this time line could change again, Will cap be first?

all of these movies will tie into 2012 release of the Avengers

Iron man is set for release on May 7th 2010

Where's Waldo...uhh, Stan Lee

Posted Image

It seems Stan Lee has become the where's Waldo (or Wally if your British) of the film world, similarly to Alfred Hitchcock, Lee makes numerous appearances in marvel films.

At 86 it seems Stan Lee is still very much into the Marvel universe making appearances in several marvel films

Im sure Lee now feels inclined to make appearances, although generally discreet background characters, it seems his roles in Iron man 2 will put him into the lime light, he will play a CNN reporter similar to Larry King (similar glasses hey?)

It also seems that there is a possibility of a cameo in Thor

So far Stan Lee has featured in the following films
The Trial of the Incredible Hulk
X-men
Spider-man
Daredevil
Hulk
Spider-man 2
Fantastic Four
Spider-man 3
X-men the Last Stand
Fantastic Four -Rise of the Silver Surfer
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk

Cool! I've only ever seen him as background characters (cameos...) so I think it's cool he's playing a bigger role!

He's also been portrayed in Marvel cartoons at times. (Spectacular Spider-Man lol)

Brian Bendis denies Spidey re-boot rewrite

Posted Image

Brian Bendis denies claims that he will be helping Sony re-boot Spider-man, the Ultimate Spider-man writer told fans via Twitter that he had attended a meeting with execs which led to the rumours.

To end the speculation Bendis said
"see quite a few web sites completely making stuff up that I never said or hinted at. I did not say I was now the writer of the movie."

He went on to say

"The movie has a writer and a damn good one. And as was just announced I am writing my own movie for Universal based on my GN fire (on sale now). All I said was I had an interesting morning over there in spidey land. And I did!!

Marc Webb's Spider-man re-boot is scheduled for a 2012 release
