Administrator Posts: 9 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jan 11, 2009	This is a quick list and description of the basic sorts of dragon I have encountered in various areas so far. Basic western: Your standard western dragon, which breaths fire, flies of leathery wings, and hoards treasure. Armoured hide. Asian: A standard Asian Lung dragon. Powers vary, but they generally wear a pearl beneath their jaw. Are able to fly, although reasons are unknown. Protected by magic Pernese: Able to breath phosphine flames when they chew a certain type of rock, able to fly, and able to perform psychokinetic teleportation. A bonding process called Impression links them permanently to another sentient being, generally a human. Their hide is not armoured, however. Dragon Booster: Able to wield their life force as magnetism. Can run at speeds close to 200 miles an hour. There are thirteen different breeds, each with a specialised type of Draconium, the metal that gives them their unique power. Able to jump to incredible heights, but they cannot fly without a certain type of "Gear". Mecha-dragon: A dragon-shaped combat mech that has been given an AI; Abilities vary drastically, but all Mecha-dragons are well-armoured. Moonlight dragons: Dragons that feed off moonlight and breath healing flames. A special type of flower gathers the power of moonlight and allow them to fly at times when the moon is hidden by Dark Ravens, or during the New Moon. Although nocturnal in nature, they are able to fly during the day with the help of this "Moon Dew". Their arch nemesis was the now-deceased Nettlefang. All Moonlight Dragons are silver, looking like spun moonlight. Shalkith dragons: With four basic breeds, representing the elements of creation, this is perhaps the most dangerous of the types. All are able to initiate aerial combat, but sustaining it is difficult for the browns. War-dragons: A dragon that has been injured, and recieved mechanical prosthetics to cover for the disabilities. Possesses the natural powers of their type, plus extra abilities given to them by the prosthetics. Remember, however, that a War-dragon still has a mission in life; a direction-less War-dragon could easily become a Berserker, so they constantly search for the meaning of life. A number, once their original missions are completed, have their combat abilities removed, and become philosophers, artisans, or choose another occupation. Wardragons: A rare type of dragon with shape-shifting capabilities. Larger than most other dragon types (Min: 100 metres, max: 300 metres, mean: 150 metres ;; tail takes up approx. 2/3 of total length // height to shoulder is approximately 1/7 of their length // breadth of body is usually approximately 1/3 of height to shoulder, though can be more or less), and is able to mimic most dragon abilities; however, mind based abilities (e.g. the Pernese dragon teleportation), cannot be copied. They are often black or very dark in colour with bright markings and nearly always have a leaf-shaped tuft of hair on the end of their tails. Wardragons do not have wings and cannot shapeshift into anything with them, but can run incredibly fast. They can Shift into any creature, but if it is winged they will not have said wings. They also cannot change their horns or markings, and often are unable to Shift into anything without a tail. Oftentimes their markings and hair glow in certain situations. Do not have hands.
