"VEGETAAAA!!" Bulma shrieked, her voice echoing across the grassy fields and penetrating her husband's ear drums. Vegeta sat in the open field, a blue sleeveless and tight shirt with a pair of matching navy training pants adorning the Saiyan's body. He had come out there to train. "You promised you'd clean the house today! You said you weren't busyyyyyy!"

"ConFOUND it, woman!" The Saiyan Prince muttered to himself, his fists balling and his body shaking. He had come out there for peace, but the peace was broken. Now, his only trouble was coming up with an excuse to get out of doing household chores. "I'm the Prince of All Saiyans, not some domesticated house husband! Huh..." He turned his head then as a familiar presence could be sensed growing closer. When she came into view, Vegeta realized it to be Reina.

"You there! Saiyan woman!" He shouted, pointing towards the brunette. He peered over his shoulder to see his wife fastly approaching. " We have training to complete! " And in a voice loud enough for Bulma to hear, he continued: " The faith of the universe rests on it! . . . " He visibly winced. He was sounding like Kakarot, but he hoped the ruse would work.

Reina, who happened to be passing by at the time, was suddenly singled out by the mighty Saiyan Prince. Her direction turned then as she made her way over to him, seeing a rather befuddled Bulma, coming out of the house to likely chastise the man some more. The relationship between the two of them was, well interesting to say the least, something that Reina found very amusing in the time she had been there.

"The fate of the universe hrm? Well that does seem important." Reina half smiled as Bulma sulked and went back inside. Stood up again for house duties. Reina knew the mighty Prince couldn't dodge for long. Humans were, well they were stubborn to say the least. That was something Reina knew first hand.

"How long until you think she drags you in there by your ear and forces you to her will?" She chuckled as she regarded the mighty Saiyan male with a smirk, knowing far too well the great lengths he would go to make her happy despite the fact it was a blow to his pride. Reina crossed those arms over her chest as the door slammed behind the blue haired woman. She knew Vegeta was in for a rough night...

" The . . . that is . . . I wear the pants around here. I say when it's time to clean, and when it's time to train. Right now . . ." A vein in his forehead seemed to throw as he cast a glance towards the house. The thought of mops and brooms, Mr. Clean and PineSol entered his head. If he hadn't unlocked his third stage of Super Saiyan, he surely would at the thought. "It's . . . it's time to train . . . or at the very least not be around that woman right now. Not that I'm afraid, you see. The woman has a voice that would take down an entire army, but for some reason the woman," And the word seemed almost painful for him to say. "Love me, " He had to shake it out, breaking eye contact with Reina. "I have nothing to worry from her as long as you keep your mouth shut."

"Keep my mouth shut? About what exactly?" She shot him a wary look as she tapped her foot on the ground, that tail sliding easily from side to side behind her before it settled around her thigh, the end flicking back and forth in a very cat like manner. Reina set those dark eyes on the man where he was seated. The last thing this woman wanted was to get in the way of either Bulma or Vegeta. They could both be equally terrifying so she'd learned while she had been there.

"She's not a stupid woman, Vegeta. She's brilliant. One of these days, I hope you can learn to appreciate that." He'd married her after all, it was his own fault in the long run. As a child of science herself, Reina had gotten along very well with Bulma in the time she'd been in Heaven, the two sharing project ideas and little tidbits of interesting information. The difference was, Reina had become a very powerful fighter over time while Bulma's skill remained in her mind. Despite that draw back, Reina held considerable respect for the human.

"Stay your tongue, girl. I never claimed my wife to be anything but brilliant." Vegeta turned his head to look once more to the home in Heaven he had made with his wife. Knowing she would find it suspicious to see him still standing there, he started to walk and motioned for Reina to follow. "She'd have to be. All my years of military experience and the woman still remains one step ahead of me at most times. Had she been born a Saiyan, she would have been a valuable asset on the battlefield." Vegeta hid his affection well, but should Reina ever feel a question regarding his feelings for his wife, she need only pay attention to the words he chose. They were the closest to compliments he would pay anybody. "The only way I can get out of these duties is by pretending to serve some noble cause like I'm Kakarot. She's starting to see through the veil though. I'm running out of alternatives to picking up a feather duster and doing what the woman wishes of me. Who does she think I am?"

"A man, and to most women, human or otherwise, men are easily manipulated. You can't hold out much longer." Reina shot him a look as she walked with him farther into the openness of that field. "Well then, my Prince, what great noble cause should we fight for today?" She was smiling, trying not to seem as amused by all of this as she was. After all, she admired the man as a powerful member of her race. Though dead, that didn't make him any less useful to her. He had a wealth of knowledge, a lifetime of it that could be drawn upon, and any opportunity to get stronger was alright by her.

"I wish to return to the living world soon. When I get there I intend to go after the man who sent me here. Any training you could offer would be most useful. I will not be bested in battle like that again." And she meant it. Reina's quest to become stronger had been a long once since she'd travelled to the afterlife, and she was not about to leave there until she could stamp out the light of her enemies. After all, she knew Rosencrantz would be waiting for her…

Vegeta halted and folded his arms across his muscular chest. There was a pause as he sized her up; strong by today's standards but weak in comparison to his might. "You actually want me to train you? What makes you think you've earned the right?" Vegeta turned away from her. Rudeness and arrogance was in his nature, but he shown respect for Reina as one of the few strong females of their race to remain. However, she hadn't asked of this before. " I am not Kakarot. I refuse to resign myself to the position of a schoolmaster! "

“I’m not asking you to be my scholar. I’m asking you to share your great knowledge and power. You are a revered man and Prince amongst your people even still all these years later. Your planet, your people have been killed yet again, and there are only a handful of us left that are strong enough to lay down a defense against the Changeling empire who is threatening to wipe the rest of us out, for good.” The woman’s tone grew very, very serious as she regarded him, her hands at her sides, balled into fists. “How could one of your own, coming to you humbly looking for help be a blow to your pride in the least? As someone who respects you for all that you are capable of, this should be a great honor.” Her voice was growing more and more uncontrollably angry as time went. Her eyes grew darker, more wild with passion.

“I’m here because I’m ready to stand and fight for us. I intend to be the strength of our people when there is no hope left. The planet Vegeta is DEAD. Nothing more than dust in space. I’m asking you to help us in whatever way you can. If there is anyone worthy of it, it’s me. What will it take to prove that to you? Or are you so high and mighty now your own people can’t even stand in your shadow?”

"You must not know who is who amongst your people anymore, Prince. How long have you been dead after all?" Now she was pissed and it showed on her face. "I am the best damn line of defense we have left. My father was a man of the Elite, and he has fought beside our King for years. My mother was the best damn engineer that our people ever saw. And I was trained by them both. I have the brilliance of a scientist and the fist of a warrior. Consider me low class all you will, but isn't it a low class fighter who has still bested you after all of these years? Whose shadow are you standing in now, Vegeta?" She took several deep breaths trying to stay her own anger.

"I will do whatever it is that I can to be stronger. By whatever means necessary I will achieve the goals I have set before me. With or without you I intend to find victory despite the odds. You can do your race proud and help me, or you can go fuck yourself and live on the pedestal of your own pride."

This was why Reina hated Saiyan men...

Princely eyes widened at first and then narrowed. The woman had a tongue that rivaled Bulma's, but unlike his dear wife whom he'd never strike, he knew Reina was a warrior. "What did you say?" The words came out as a low growl; his energy sweeping outwards with enough force that Reina had to fight to maintain her footing. "What did you DARE say to me? I am the PRINCE of All Saiyans, and you will show me respect!" The aura finally annihilated the ground they were standing on, throwing Reina back. As she rolled to her feet, the Prince materialized in front of her, whipping his body around as he snapped a kick out into her stomach to send her sailing.

Her body may have took to the air, but Reina's red ki kept her upright as she flipped around and hit the ground again, her feet biting into the dirt. He may have been more powerful than she was, but Reina was far more determined and controlling in her anger than him. As she took to her feet again and launched herself forward, Reina's body seemed to vanish appearing inches in front of the Prince as she brought those hands together. The resulting ki blast cracked loud through the air like a shockwave visibly striking out from the two of them. The beam tore through the ground towards him, her own ki signature climbing in the strength to rival his own. He was stronger, but the gap that lay between them wasn't nearly as far as what he must have first anticipated.

"Fight me. I will prove to you I am worthy. Should I defeat you? Train me. It's as simple as that."

"Child," A contrail of energy was left in his wake as he avoided the blast and floated in the air, arms once again across his body. "You have made a grave mistake by challenging your Prince, and you are only lucky that death is not applicable to this battle!" The Prince's energy signature was incredibly close to hers; though much of his own power was stored away. There was no way for this to be a fair fight if he went all out, but he had no intentions to coddle her either. "Show me what makes you worthy to be in the presence of an Elite."
