Alignment: 65% Good History: At an early age Kai showed the promise to be a great scholar, his study habits and his interests in many different types of technology seemed to be endless and many wondered if he was going to be a scientist or a researcher at Capsule Corp. However, things took a turn for the worse as Kai reached his tenth birthday, his parents were killed in an explosion that had engulfed their house in flames while Kai waited for them at the park on the other side of town with friends and relatives, to this day still no evidence has been found as to what happened at that house. Kai who was effected deeply by this changed his work efforts and quickly began to research battlefield tactics and among other things Akaikaru, swearing that eventually he would avenge his parents. He quickly excelled at his training and passed all of his tests based on military tactics until finally he was accepted by the military and inside the military, at the age of only 15, he was accepted by a branch of Special Ops, the Blood Ravens. A three year training process shortly followed and once again Kai rose to the top of his class and was put under the command of Lieutenant Trole. For the next 2 years Kai would fight on all of the planets in the galaxy, killing Changelings, Humans, Saiyans, Half-Saiyans, anything that was in the way of the greater good was killed instantly. Soon Kai was elected at the age of 20 to be in charge of his own team of Blood Ravens, which he swiftly accepted and gained the rank of Lieutenant. He assembled a team and quickly flew off on his first mission in charge on Vegeta. Where he was suppose to kill off a powerful mob boss in Rein because he was trafficking weapons and drugs and selling them to people on earth. Kai and his team were successful, but something occurred rendering Kai into a comatose state and his team labeling him dead quickly returned back to earth. Meanwhile Kai was found by a couple of Saiyans running a local church in Rein, seeing that the human was distressed they took him in and nursed him back to health. The problem was that Kai had bonked his head hard enough that he now suffered from a case of amnesia, forgetting everything about the Blood Ravens. He remembered how to fight and how to think and so he decided to protect his saviors from any harm. Which he has done till now. Handwraps [EQUIPPED] Inventory Slots: 1 Description: A strip of cloth wrapped around the hand and wrist to prevent strain and injury. It also boosts striking ability and speed. [ACCESSORY] Effect: +8% Power. +3% Dexterity. Easter Egg [000z] Inventory Slots: 0 Description: Easter eggs are specially decorated eggs given to celebrate the Easter holiday or springtime. Apparently, the Easter bunny left you a present. Effect: USEx1. State you are using this at the beginning of a Quest with 1,000 wpd or more (not including other wpd modifiers). The Quest is now -200 wpd. King Vegeta's Royal Seal Inventory Slots: 0 Description: The royal family crest of the Vegeta lineage, it is worn solely by the monarchy with a single exception. In times of war, the seal is granted to soldiers in service to the royal family as a badge of honor. The upper portion of the royal family's crest is cleaved into three sections like a trident. Where the three points join, they merge into one line that is stop-start, like the staff bit is made out of a series of hyphens or dashes. The lowest part of the coat of arms is an upwards curving two-pointed staff, making the heraldic device look like it's smiling. Effect: Attach to an EQUIPPABLE item with 'Armor' in the title.. Gain +2% to All Stats that item effects. Whenever you roll a 1 on your defense roll, you may re-roll that defense roll. This item cannot be unattached and/or attached to another item afterwards. You gain +2 dice sides 7 Star Dragon Ball Description: A palm-sized golden sphere with a slight orange tint and a mysterious set of stars affixed to the surface. This sphere has 7 stars upon it. Effect: The person who controls this Dragon Ball can revive someone from the Afterlife once every 14 days. If the owner of the Dragon Ball alters, there is no delay between when that owner can revive someone. Break them down and leave them broken and bleeding, unable to respond to your onslaught . . . there is no better feeling than reaching the peak of your rage and then basking in it over the breathless body of an inferior opponent. Effect: Your Akaikaru attacks with STUN in the effect cost -1 KI to perform. Your Akaikaru attacks with STUN in the effect cannot have their costs modified by any other effect. Whenever you STUN an opponent, reduce the amount of KI Points they can gain, or prevent them from Powering Up your next attack with STUN in the effect gains +3 to the result" Requirements: You must know at least three (3) Akaikaru attacks and/or skills. Skills [0 Slots] Bukujutsu Description: The ability to use one's own Ki to fly. Effect: The user can now fly in battle. Bukujutsu is a requirement to learn certain moves. This does not take up one of your Skill slots. If your opponent doesn't have Bukujutsu in their moveset, you gain +5 dice sides against them. Requirements: N/A Instant Transmission Description: The user dematerializes and moves as a mass of light, disappearing from view at an incredible speed. From that point, they can lock onto a Ki signature and materialize near it. Effect: Once per week, you can Instant Transmission yourself to another planet. You cannot use Instant Transmission to teleport you to another planet 2 weeks in a row. In the event that the planet you are is destroyed, you may use Instant Transmission to take you to another planet (regardless if you used it the week before). Instant Transmission is a requirement to learn certain moves. Requirements: N/A Boiling Blood Description: Whenever the user gains energy, some of that energy may be turned into the form of heat. This heat is stored in the bobdy, painlessly boiling the user’s own blood, making his body hot to the touch and sending the user into a bloody rage. Effect: For your next three turns, your attack rolls gain +3 to the result(s). Your opponent loses (10% Power) HP when they perform a physical attack against you until they STOP one of your attacks. This Skill's effects cannot stack with themselves. Costs 3 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Gohan's Hidden Power Description: Amazed by Gohan and his ability to break through Guldo's perfected Time Freeze ability, you become more aware of a hidden power lurking deep within you. All it takes is the right motivation to set it free. Effect: CONSTANT - TRAIT. Activate at the start of combat. Your Advanced Attacks cannot be STOPPED by defensive rolls of 4 or less. Your attacks do +(5% Power) Damage. If de-activated, you may forget an Advanced Attack at any time in combat to activate this Skill. This Skill cannot be activated by any other means. You cannot have more than one Skill with "TRAIT" in the effect in your moveset at a time. Speed Demon Description: A sudden Ki surge is utilized to boost the user's speed. Effect: Your Dexterity is considered to be double your opponent's Dexterity, unless your Dexterity is triple or more their Dexterity. Reset your opponent's defensive dice to 1d30. Your opponent's defensive roll cannot be modifed by their effects or Dexterity. This effect ends when your opponent performs a SUCCESSFUL attack with a result of 20 or higher. This does not take up your turn. Costs 3 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Kaio-ken Description: The Kaio-ken is a technique that multiplies the user's ki for a "heart beat", enabling them to inflict serious damage to foes who are considerably stronger than them. The red aura of Kaio-ken completely tints the user a similar share. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Your next Advanced Attack does double the base damage. If your next Advanced Attack is STOPPED, STUNx2 yourself. Costs 6 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Basic Attacks Basic Punch - (10% Power) Damage. Costs 0 KI Points. Basic Kick - (10% Power) Damage. Advanced Attacks [0 Slots] Base Cost 1 Fury Strikes [PHYSICAL, PUNCH, KICK] Description: A series of claw-like swipes at the opponent followed up by a palm thrust to the bridge of the nose. With the opponent dazed, the user leaps off their shoulders and delivers a series of downward kicks to their skull. Effect: Physical attack doing (35% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - The next time your opponent gains KI Points, the amount is -1. Costs 1 KI Point. Requirements: N/A Base Cost 2 Flamethrower [ENERGY, BEAM] Description: With one arm extended, a swirl of energy with red, orange and yellow hues is sent forth in a beam. A formidable attack that can sometimes be super-charged, resulting in an attack that will figuratively devour another attack with a similar concentration of energy. Effect: Energy attack doing (40% Power) Damage. You may forget this attack to STOP a Beam-Type Advanced Attack instead. If you do, you may perform a physical attack on the same turn. SUCCESSFUL - Your next attack with a STUN effect gains +2 to the result. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Kamehameha [ENERGY, BEAM] Description: Cupping their hands atop one another, the user brings both hands back as they charge the attack. Upon completion, the arms are thrown forward, bringing with them a massive energy beam. Effect: Energy attack doing (45% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - If you roll a 27 or higher with this attack, this attack does +(15% Power) Damage. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Base Cost 3 Lord of the Flies[ENERGY, BLAST, VOLLEY] Description: The user slowly extends their arms outward, fists clenched before slowly unclenching them. As the do so, a flurry of small, slow, but powerful Ki Blasts move toward the opponent, exploding and disorienting them on impact. The Ki Blasts are often mistaken for small, glowing flies due to their size. Effect: Energy attack doing (5% Power) damage. Your attack roll is 10d28 for this attack. If 5 or more dice rolls are SUCCESSFUL, STUN. Costs 3 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Base Cost 5 Jackknife Beam [ENERGY, BEAM] Description: The user dashes toward their opponent, catching them off guard by not immediately attacking them. Instead, the user does a front flip over the top of their opponent, only to shoot a thin green beam at the back of their head mid-flip. Effect: Energy attack doing (55% Power) Damage. If your Dexterity is higher than your opponent's Dexterity, the result of your attack roll is +4. You may not Power Up on your next turn. SUCCESSFUL - STUN. Your opponents defense roll on your next turn is -3. Costs 5 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Blocks [0 Slots] Gone In A Sixtieth of A Second Description: A mad dash done at the last minute, confusing the opponent into thinking they have landed their swarm of attacks only to find disappointment. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Block. Stop an energy attack. If this is used against a Volley-type attack, you may perform a base cost 1 attack before the end of this turn. Costs X KI Points. Requirements: N/A Backflip Description: A simple back-flip done over the attack. Effect: RESTRICTED x1. Block. Stop a physical or energy attack. If your opponent is Aoyusumu, the result of their next defensive roll is -5. Costs X KI Points. Requirements: N/A Signature Techniques [1 Slots] Scorched Earth [ENERGY, BEAM] Description: Rising up into the heavens, both of the users hands glow: similar to the Final Flash technique. Bringing them together, a massive wave of energy is expelled, covering the entire battle field. Said to be a blast of such magnitude it has the potential to obliterate planets. Regardless, even in the hands of the most novice of users, this technique is capable of permanently altering its surroundings. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Energy attack doing (100% Power) Damage. STOPPED - STUN. Costs 6 KI Points. Requirements: Bukujutsu. Extra Techniques Bullrush [PHYSICAL, THROW] Description: Forgoing any sort of technique, the user charges their opposition straight up: performing a running headbutt. Wheeling around after delivering such a blow, they repeat their previous move in an effort to make the pain twice as agonizing. Effect: Physical attack doing (25% Power) Damage per hit. Your attack roll is 2d32 for this attack. SUCCESSFUL - If both attack rolls are SUCCESSFUL, your next attack with 'STUN' in the effect costs -1 KI Point to a minimum of 1. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Give Me Energy! Description: Aiming their hands towards the sky, the user shouts 'Share your energy with me!', beckoning every living thing to donate energy to the Spirit Bomb. While doing so, the person is vulnerable to attack. Effect: Spirit Bomb's power is enhanced with each usage of this Skill.
