Character name: Bardock Character age: Old. Character race: Saiyan Starting planet: Earth How did you find us: Mirai Trunks hooked me up. Why do you want this character, and why do you think you deserve him/her? I've always wanted to see a greater story for Bardock, something more than just the end of his life where he only starts to change his ways. Bardock has tons of potential to be made into a great character. Role-play Example: There was a certain point in an old warrior’s life where it was easy to snap into “Bardock smash!” mode and he was definitely feeling the pull of it right now. Trapped on the outside, hours away from Vegeta, the newly resurrected soldier found himself floating outside his planet’s atmosphere. Flashes, not of the future, but of the past raced before his eyes. Frieza. Fists clenched so tight that the once tanned hands were now white and hot with anger. He expected to see the fleet ship in front of him, countless soldiers staring him down. That puny looking freak sitting in his special little carrier. But none of it. Bardock had no sense of time passing, he knew he had died but for how long had that taken place? How would he even come back unless he had actually survived? Maybe he didn’t die, but was in a coma all this time. Carding a hand through his hair, Bardock tried to make sense of it all. He couldn’t grasp anything at all, the planet was here, Frieza was gone, his body was just fine. Nothing! There was nothing wrong as far as he could see. What had happened? No way that whole scenario had just been a dream, not those visions he had after that freak of an alien cursed him with all that head-case precognition. As real as they were, as valid as those visions had been, fighting Frieza actually happened. And now here he was, in the exact same place where it all occurred. Eerily, it felt peaceful out here, no sounds, no fighting, no struggles. And as calm as it all seemed, the warrior’s mind was working furiously trying to piece the long gap in time together to make some sense of what had happened. With no conclusions or revelations, Bardock spun himself in free space, looking toward the planet he tried so desperately to save. What would it be like if he went back? Would they recall his intentions of rescuing them? Would they be just as confused about it all? How many would actually know what happened in that long passage of time? Or…what if there’d be no one left. What if this was some kind of hell he was exiled to, lost in a world where he was the only one left on his dead planet? So many question, so many answers needed. Bardock watched the red planet with all the curiosity in the world. And then it came. A loud ruckus of jet engines and flames, a fleet ship sailing the universe and passing by the corner of his eye. Bardock couldn’t identify the race by its ship but he knew for sure it wasn’t Saiya-Jin. He could only assume the worst. If this were a Hell where he destined to solitude with this planet, then he would protect it all the same. It went without saying that the warrior dashed off through space towards the large vessel. Finding a little, familiar, solid spark within him, the soldier let it bloom within him as it burned a path down to his palm. Focusing on this bloom of heat, Bardock let the energy flower into a beautiful, but deadly sphere of blue ki, his palm engulfed in the explosive charge. Rather than shooting down the ship with the blast straight through the hull, Bardock opted for a more precise attack, meeting the vehicle head on, staring straight down at the cockpit. It had been so long since he felt a rush like this. An oncoming battle had never felt so good before. The pride of his blood coursed through him as he threw his arm back, tight cords of muscle bulging in his super charged biceps. The sphere grew larger as he loosed it, letting the blue bomb sail at the ship, a javelin forming out of the ki as it spearheaded the front windshield of the ship. The crack was undeniable. Bardock had scored a hole in one. |
