Regular Forum (No New Posts) Warden's Keep
Once know as Soldier's Peak, the Warden's Keep was reclaimed during the last Blight. It was a source of knowledge and great power, but now that Keep on the hill is more like an academy for all those who wish to become Grey Warderns. Though sadly, some of them do not pass the Joining...

Dwarves. A very typical thing for them. Build a city underground and surround it with lava and everything else to make it seem far bigger then needed, not to mention very hot.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) West Hill
Located on the northern coast of the Waking Sea, West Hill is a fortress once used as a look-out point against marauding corsairs. When the threat of corsairs began to fade, it was partially abandoned and many of its watchtowers remain unmanned to this day. While West Hill is capable of holding thousands of people, it is usually only manned by a few hundred. Mostly abandoned, a majority of the fortress has been converted to storage. Many passages are long forgotten, dusty and dark, and anyone who wanders into them stands the risk of becoming lost inside. West Hill was the site where King Maric's forces suffered an almost complete loss during the campaign to restore the rightful heir to the throne of Ferelden. This was due to a spy infiltrating the king's camp and tricking him into thinking that an attack against West Hill would be a major victory against the usurper, King Meghren. West Hill is rumored to be haunted.

Regular Forum Denerim
Denerim is the capital of Ferelden. Denerim was the teyrnir of the king, but since the king's domain is supposed to be all of Ferelden, it has been reduced to an arling. Home of both nobility and the common people. This sprawling city has much to offer the adventurer; with its market place, magic shops, armorers and bordellos. However, one cannot let one's eye rest on a single place for too long, lest a back alley brawler or elf from the Alienage cut one's purse strings... or one's throat.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Amaranthine
Amaranthine is a coastal town in the northeast part of Ferelden. It is an Arling ruled by the Arl of Amaranthine. The town is a harbour of sorts. Known for bringing supplies and other such things from trade routes cross the sea. Though some times people do catch a ride on the boats for whatever reason. The guards don't often notice anyone coming and going on those things.

A place that is often looked upon with both sorrow and Joy. Much goes on here that the normal eye is not permitted to see. Strange things occur around the area, but for what, few know. Only those that are of magic birth right understand the building and the auras that move around it...

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Haven
Haven is a small village in the Frostback Mountains in Ferelden that holds the Urn of Andraste. It was once home to a very violent cult, but thanks to Brother Genitivi and a few other adventures the cult is no longer. Now people travel to Haven to either seek the Urn or set up shop in this rather rich area of trade and hospitality.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Lothering
Historically it was little more than a trading post serving the fortress Ostagar to the south. During the last Blight it was destoried, but it was rebuilt along with most of the damage. Now, in present times, it supplies goods to Redcliffe and the community of merchants and surface dwarves around Orzammar.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Brecilian Forest
Brecilian Forest, once haunted by werewolves and demons is now a place of peace and forgiveness. Or so they wish you to think. The Elves have come to create a permant home inside of the Forest. But it is more of a fort then anything. Humans and Dwarves and ill-advises to go here. The tension between humans and Elves is still rather tender. But when one walks into the Forest, they can sense something eerie about the place. Only a trade agreement, people traveling to Gwaren are allowed through, but they are closely watched from unknown eyes.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Ostagar
Representing the furthest point of encroachment by the ancient Tevinter Imperium into the barbarian lands of the southeast, the fortress of Ostagar was once one of the most important defensive Imperial holdings south of the Waking Sea. It stood at the edge of the Korcari Wilds and watched for any signs of invasion by the barbarians today known as the Chasind Wilders. Straddling a narrow pass in the hills, the fortress needed to be by passed in order for the Wilders to reach the fertile lowlands of the north and proved to be exceedingly difficult for the Wilders to attack due to its naturally defensible position
