Pretty good game. Single player is short but i found it interesting. The characters really drive the plot.

It's your basic CoD type game though. modern weapons in urban enviornments. If you've played and Call of Duty or Medal of Honor you've experienced a lot of what this game has to offer.

Single player is engaging. I love the robot tank you get in some missions. It's like a giant robot dog that follows you around and shoots things with a machine gun and missiles. I also like how finding ammo for your weapon is a constant thing. You can't just get a few hundred rounds of bullets and then not worry about it for the rest of the level. you need to actively search around for more bullets.

A big complaint I have with the game is how clumsy your guy feels. There are a lot of invisble walls and insurmountable waist high fences. It can get annoying when your trying to take cover behind something and your guy can't get close to it because of some kind of force field he keeps bouncing off of. You do get used to it after a while though.

my second biggest complaint are your team mates. As much as i like the characters in the game, they can get really annoying. Like in Medal of Honor, they can litterally push you around. There have been a few times where i move out from behind cover to shoot and then can't get back behind cover when things heat up because my team mate has taken my place and refuses to move. They also have a nasty habit of leaping in front of you as your shooting people, blocking your shot and making the people you were shooting at duck.

Multiplayer is fun. Way more fun that black ops in the short experiance i've had so far. First and foremost, i don't get shot in the back nearly as much (yay me). When you spawn, you get a view of where everyone is relative to your spawn point, friendly and enemy alike. That cuts down on spawn camping and lets you know exactly where that ass hole sniper is.

Vehicles were a nice addition, and hopefully they'll get better with time. As it stands now you are very much dependent on infantry support, especailly the tanks. Driving or gunning on a humvee can be infuriating because your depend on the gunner or the driver. If you get a good team together though, you should be able to be pretty kick ass with the driver calling out target directions for the gunner.

one of my favorite bits are the drones. The scout drone thing is awesome. Fly it around and mark targets for your team. it's the size of shoebox so you can keep it low and hidden from view and you rack up points every time you mark an enemy and every time a team mate killes an enemy you marked. Excelent when used in team work. I was playing with a sniper and i just marked targets for him. I hid my drone in the window of a building and marked people as they rounded a corner. My marks would tell the sniper how many guys there were and he knew exactly where they were at all times. We racked up quite a few points doing that, even though my physical body was off in some corner somewhere controling the drone.

Thats my other favorite thing. the "killstreak" rewards aren't granted based upon your kills. That is something that for a long time bothered me with CoD as the game rewarded players who did will by giving them huge advantages, making sure that the players who aren't doing well could never catch up. In this game, all you need to do is rack up battle points and spend them on your "killstreak" rewards. These include things such as that drone i mentioned, a predator drone, air strikes, drone attack choppers and even personal stuff like a flack jacket and whatnot.

My two biggest complaints are similar. First, nothing is destructable. it doesn't matter if it's a road sign or a sappling tree. you can hit it with a tank going 50 MpH and it will bring your tank to a dead stop instantly. With all the things littered around the level, it makes driving kind of tricky. Second, is that nothing penetrates. It doesn't matter if your shooting at someone behind a wall or a leaf, if there is something between your bullet and the target, it will not hit. Peoples lives have been saved by garbage cans and street sign posts. Its like everything in the world is made out of adamantium.

Overall it's a good game. I think it's worth at least a rent for the single player and to check out the multiplayer.
