The Comitia Tributa is one of the Roman assemblies made up of thirty-five voting blocks representing the thirty-five tribes of Rome. These tribes are based on location and contain both Patricians and Plebs within their ranks. The Comitia's purpose is to act as one of the main organs in which legislation is passed in the Republic, its acts being binding over the entire Republic and the added legitimacy of its numbers being made up of both Patricians and Plebs, unlike the Concilium Plebis. The Comitia Tributa important is responsible for elections of Aediles curules and plebis, Quaestors and the military tribunes. The legislative supremacy of the Comitia Tributa extends to the ability to vote citizenship to non-citizen tribes and cities. Tribal membership is determined by residency in the Republic and one's residency is determined by the location of their father's wealthiest property at the point of their birth. The tribe of an individual cannot change during their lifetime. In the Comitia Tributa, the tribes are split into the four Urban tribes, 16 close-rural tribes and 15 further rural tribes. The Tribal assembly is led by the Tribunes of the Plebs and one of them is required to introduce legislation, Tribunes as well are able to veto legislation in the assembly. For votes to be counted, the character must travel to the city of Rome to vote in person, thus making it impossible for many Plebeian rural voters to vote in assembly elections. The tribes themselves are not homogeneous electoral wards and territory from them is typically divided throughout various regions of Italy where Roman citizens have been settled. For simplification, the tribes have been made homogeneous in their territory. In Divide et Impera, while there won't be 35 individual sub-forums for the tribes, they will be put together into groups, but voting will continue to be handled individual between the tribes. Upon each vote, a separate topic for each tribe will be posted by the administration and once that is done, players can begin voting immediately. If a Tribune vetoes the legislation, then the topics will be locked immediately. Like in the Comitia Centuriata, the voting patterns will have an influence on the voting patterns of NPC characters. Every time These groups will be as follows: Roman Urban: - Collina, Esquilina, Suburana, Palatina Roman Rural: - Aemilia, Galeria, Lemonia, Menenia, Papiria, Teretina Latium Rural: - Cornelia, Camilia, Fabia, Papiria, Pupinia, Scaptia, Stellatina, Tromentina Sabinum Rural: - Claudia, Clustumina, Sabatina, Sergia, Veturia Campania Rural: - Falerna, Oufentina, Poblilia, Pomptina Picenum Rural: - Maecia, Quirina, Velina, Umbria Rural: - Aniensis, Arniensis, Horatia, Lemonia, Pollia, Sabatina, Voltinia |
