Posts: 18 Group: Members Member #4 Joined: Oct 27, 2008	Lake Cumberland Speedway presents 29th Anniversary Late Model event on April 5 (Super Late Models open with $2,009 to win Special) CONTACT: Chris Tilley (606) 219-1723 or tilleyracing@hotmail.com BURNSIDE, KY (March 30, 2009)—In honor of the 29th Season of Dirt Track Racing Entertainment, the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY will present a special race for the Late Models as part of their opening event of 2009 this Sunday April 5. Also in part of the Anniversary event, the Late Models will race for $2,009 to win / $125 to start the 29-Lap A-Main. This event is in conjunction with the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY paying $2,000 to win Late Models on Friday April 3 and $4,000 to win for the Late Models on Saturday April 4, the night before the Anniversary special at the Historic Burnside facility. Also on the racing card will be the Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $800 to win, Super Dirt Stocks paying $300 to win their main event, the Chevettes racing for $150 to win and the Front Wheel Drive class competing for the $75.00 first place prize. The Gates will open at 11:00 a.m. with the Driver’s Meeting scheduled for 1:15 p.m. and Hot Laps shortly after. Adult General Admission is $15.00 with Children 6 to 10 being $5.00 and Children under five admitted free. Adult Pit Passes are $30.00 with Children 10 to five $15.00 and Children under five admitted free.
