Posts: 18 Group: Members Member #4 Joined: Oct 27, 2008	Lake Cumberland Speedway Announces 2009 Opening Dates BURNSIDE, KY (March 16, 2009)—The Lake Cumberland Speedway located in Historic Burnside, KY will open its gates for its 29th Season of Dirt Track Racing Entertainment this weekend. On Saturday March 21, 2009 there will be an open practice session for all divisions competing in 20009 including the Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Dirt Stocks, Chevettes and the Front Wheel Drive classes. The Gates open at 1:00 p.m. for practice and practice will last until around 5:00 p.m. The first official race will be on Sunday Afternoon March 22, 2009 as the Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Dirt Stocks, Chevettes and the Front Wheel Drive class will compete for a weekly racing program. The Gates will open at 11:00 a.m. and Hot Laps are slated for around 1:00 p.m. On Sunday March 29, 2009 the Super Late Models will return to the 3/8th’s mile speed plant located minutes from Somerset, KY along with a full racing program of all supporting divisions.
