Marcus: Oh no... Marcus watched her lose consciousness and panicked, even as the device he had started talking. He couldn't afford to be stupid, wherever he was, and he had apparently been given a responsibility to this creature. Picking up the Plotmon in his arms, he cast her a meaningful glance before trekking off to explore around the area, though not the city, while thinking about things. Marcus: My dream? Digimon? This is all weird... but Plotmon needs me, and I guess i'll take care of her. |

Plotmon gently mumbled, a sign that she wasn't exactly dead as Marcus might have feared. She shifted slightly, still in Marcus's arms. ???: Put her down! It was a fierce voice. |

Looking around as he heard a voice talling him to put Plotmon down, he tried to find the voice. Marcus: Who's there? Regardless, Plotmon stayed in Marcus' arms. In her tired and hurt state, he wasn't about to let her go while she had been so helpful. She was a friend, as far as Marcus was concerned. |

???: I said, put her down! thump thump thump A growl rumbled through the calmness of the plains as a creature came into view. It was an Agumon, its muzzle blazing with flames. Might this be the cause of the scorch marks on Plotmon's back? Well, it'd better not be, 'cause - Agumon: Spitfire! Embers started to fire out from his mouth at a rapid pace. While they looked not very dangerous for the most part, a large dose of them might actually do some damage. Instead of striking Marcus, it merely charred the grass at his feet. Plotmon: Nggh... |

Marcus: Whoa... Seeing yet another strange creature, especially one who seemed to be able to breathe fire. As the grass near him burned away slightly and Plotmon stirred, Marcus started to get the idea behind her wounds. While not one to liking pain, the creature in his arms seemed like the victim here. Marcus: Blow smoke all you like, dino person. You're not getting this Plotmon. It was probably you who hurt her in the first place! With that, Marcus stepped back from the Agumon a bit, waiting to see if it would continue to attack them. |

Agumon snorted, before tossing his head to one side. Agumon: Puh-lease. Why would I attack her in the first place? As Marcus took a step back, so did the Agumon. A smirk dancing on his face, the bright orange raptor inhaled the fresh air of the flower plain. If this was going to carry on into a fight ... it would yield neither side an advantage. Agumon: Oh, forget it! You're not backing down; neither am I! Constellus - Aries City - Outskirts Marcus, Agumon and Plotmon are thrown into battle. A transparent cube surrounds them as the area around them materializes into a beautiful flower plain. Agumon stands at a directly north from both Marcus and Plotmon, about fifteen feet away. The wound on Plotmon seems to magically heal upon entering the transparent cube. She opens her eyes, shaking her head in apparent confusion. Agumon: Let's settle this! Plotmon lands before Marcus, her hackles raising in anger as she growled. However, despite how intimidating she wanted to make herself look, her shy and scared nature got the better of her as her growl came out soft. Plotmon: M-Marcus, we'll do this ... together. Upon Plotmon's statement, Marcus hears a voice in his head. Battle ... START! This is your first fight ever, right? You might have noticed that in your Digimon Information thread, there are skills that Plotmon knows. You can command Plotmon to either attack using those skills, evade attack, or even block them. She might even be able to use to surroundings to her advantage. However - you do need to factor in Plotmon's personality, in this case, scared and shy. Tread carefully. |

Marcus Battle? Why? Neverthrless, as the Agumon backed up and squared off with him, he put the question away as he took a more ready stance himself, looking between the now healed Plotmon to the device in his hand. Marcus: Okay, just keep your guard up, Plotmon The lizard seemed more aggressive, and Plotmon wasn't. Going on what he knew of battle, he gauged that it would be best to wait and go on the defensive first. Marcus: I know we don't really know each other, but do your best, Plotmon. You can do it. |

Plotmon nodded at Marcus. Plotmon: O-okay ... I'll keep my guard up. Agumon jumped into the air with a swift pounce. Fire bursting from the sides of his mouth before dispersing into numerous embers, the saurian fired them at Plotmon. Agumon: Spitfire! As Marcus had ordered Plotmon to guard, she curled up into a ball of white fur, her paws and ears effectively curled up into the ball that was her. The embers grazed her back, and Marcus could see her shivering in fright and possibly pain if he cared to notice. Plotmon: I'll ... hang on! I'll hang on for you, Marcus... Agumon landed back on the ground, unfazed despite what Plotmon had said. Claws shining under the sunlight, he dashed towards Plotmon, as if readying to slash at her. Better get something done, and quick... |

Seeing her burned again made him curse his poor choice of words, but it confirmed his theorythat the Agumon was headstrong. Seeing the lizard rushing in again, he put himself between Plotmon and the Agumon, fully intended to take the damage of any attack. Marcus: Sorry, it was my fault. Like you said, we'll do this together. He meant that in both teamwork and pain, for he wasn't about to let someone who would stand by him fall to the likes of this reptile. |

As Marcus dashed towards Plotmon, he is repelled by a force field that surrounds the pitch. Pain surrounds his body, due to touching the force field. He is forcefully thrown backwards, skidding along the ground before halting upon slamming against the transparent walling that marks the outer boundary. The D-LITE previously in his hands clatters to the ground with a sound thump. Marcus was lucky that it was a flower field, instead of rough concrete, or he might have been left with more than the graze here and there. Plotmon: M-Marcus! Are you alright?! Uncurling from her defensive position, Plotmon turns to look at Marcus, staring at him in horror. Tears streaked from her eyes as she tries to get closer to him, but - Do not venture beyond the boundary between the pitch and the battlefield. It is nothing but foolishness and sheer idiocy to think that you, a Young, can hold up against the brunt of an attack. - was slashed straight across the shoulder by the incoming Agumon. The spectacle, apparently, did not faze the saurian one bit as he relentlessly struck at Plotmon. Agumon: Sharp Claws! Plotmon was struck by the attack, sending her tumbling head-over-heels a few feet. She was shivering, either from pain or fear, but a sudden surge of bravery made her stand up, strengthened once again. However, standing up only seemed to make her shake even more, the wound over her shoulder clear for all to see. Thankfully, Agumon's Sharp Claws wasn't too strong. It was newly unlocked by the looks of it, but deadly all the same. The Agumon apparently wasn't fazed by Marcus's attempt to break in, or the sudden display of concern for her Young by Plotmon. Instead, it only seemed to drive him into more anger. Agumon: Look at me! As if upon command, Plotmon slowly looks upwards, fear glistening along with tears in her eyes. Plotmon: Marcus! T-tell me ... what I should do... |

Marcus: Agh! Marcus felt the foolishness of trying to stand in the way of the attack, however he didn't feel the foolishness of commiting the action. Looking up to see that Plotmon had turned to him, and in turn had been hit, gave him the strength to get up on one knee. Marcus went to get the device that had slipped from his grasp when he was repelled. Marcus: Stand if you can. Try to dodge and counterattack to knock him off balance! I'm sorry I can't help more... He felt guilt at not beign able to do anything. Once he had reclaimed the device, he looked at it with a meaningful look, only wishing. Marcus: If this thing can help, please let us find a way to defeat this thing... |

As Marcus spoke, Plotmon nodded. Plotmon: I think ... I get it, Marcus. She stood up with renewed courage. It seemed that Marcus's words have granted her some confidence, even though it wasn't in a large amount. Marcus had moved to pick up his D-LITE at this point, and Plotmon steadied herself to dodge and counterattack. Agumon charged for Plotmon once again, claws raised. Anticipating an incoming assault, Plotmon rolled to her left and stopped a feet or two away from the reptile. Agumon: Huh? Where did she go? Feeling that this was the time to counterattack like Marcus had said, Plotmon readies herself for the strike. Thanks to her innate intelligence, she managed to launch an attack of her own without prompting. Plotmon: Petit Punch! Plotmon raises her paws before punching Agumon, first with her right paw, followed swiftly by her left. Agumon takes the strike, not having anticipated a strike from the back. He falls to the ground, but picks himself up just as quickly as he fell. Plotmon: Marcus, I did it! You have not commanded Plotmon to use a Skill. Luckily for you, Plotmon's intelligence is above average for a Child Digimon, hence, she knows to attack without prompting. However, for best results, you will have to command a skill for her to use. |

Seeing Plotmon land a solid hit, he smiled as he forgot about the device momentarily. Marcus: Great Job! Don't tire yourself out, but try to counter his next attack too with your Petit Punch. It may be repetitive, but you can probably tire him out. He was no strategist, though he had watched a lot of movies. Looking from the battle to the D-ban in his hand, he tried pointing the device at the Agumon to see if it would do anything. |

The D-LITE merely remained as it was before when it was pointed at Agumon. Plotmon: I-I'll try. Raging, Agumon charged for Plotmon once again, embers spitting from his mouth once again. Having seen the attack before, Marcus would know what to anticipate - but would Plotmon? Agumon: Spitfire! Plotmon realized the incoming reptile a few seconds too late, taking the fiery attack straight in the face. Shaking her head as she rolled around for a bit to release herself from the painful grip of heat, Plotmon whimpered under her breath. Pain was something that made her uneasy and scared. She'd have to overcome that weakness before she can battle effectively. Remembering the previous commands from Marcus, Plotmon blinked as she got to her feet once again. She had a good chunk of health taken out, but it only made her determination burn hotter. Plotmon: Petit Punch! Rushing at Agumon, Plotmon deftly smacks him with her right paw on his flank, but the second blow was dodged. Agumon rears his head backwards, fire gathering within his mouth. It didn't look like a Spitfire technique... |

Marcus: Quick! Headbutt him in the stomach as hard as you can! Take that breath away from him! Marcus called out a command that he had sorta experienced before with a bully. Knocking the breath out of someone was a quick way for stopping an attack. Cursing the device, he examined it and pressed a button on the front to try and find a useful ability.
