Okay, so character profiles about the most complex thing in the team, but it's not that hard as I will show you. They come in three sections, which I will explain here. Section One
For the first part, just post the character's nickname or their first name. Then put a full name in the format "Character F. Name" in the second field. Age is self-explanatory. The Soul Kernel needs some explaning. It's sort of a cross between the crests of Digimon Adventure 01 and the spirits of Digimon Frontier. Mostly the latter. Your character's Soul Kernel allows them to transform into a digimon, and represents/is powered by a positive trait of the character. The hometown is not so much hard as complex. Digimon Defenders will play out like an actual season of the anime, but you don't have to live in the same city at all. Travel between the digital world and real world is granted by a plot-relevant being (that's for another topic) when needed, including entering and exiting the digital world to travel long distances instantly. As for the hometown, your character can live anywhere on the planet as long as they have a cell phone/MP3 Player/portable game system/etc. so that it can be transformed into a digivice. Just keep in mind that cities are inherently larger than a small town, thus allowing more space for "incidents". And finally the character history. This is basically a recap of your character's adventures as a DigiDestined, so leave it as it is when you first start out. Edited by Topher, Apr 14 2009, 04:57 PM.

And now for your Digimon transformation... Section 2
What's this? Yes, you actually get to create youir own digimon! If you want to that is. If you create your own, you'll have to give it custom attacks, a description, an attribute and patch it on to the existing digivolution tree. This is all self-explanatory, unless you don't actually know anything about Digimon. If so, sorry but you're not really suited for this team. Try the Media Masters, a team my brother created where you use fully original characters. |

Almost done! The final section is... Section 3
Basically, there are 3 different digimon you could devolve to if you are defeated by an enemy. If you devolve, you're stuck like that for 24 hours in-story. You won't be able to turn back into a human, so be careful. There will also be a way to digivolve, upwarrds that is, but that's not going to be revealed for a little while, so just pick a digimon one level higher than yours that you like and stick around. You should know that you can only create a custom digimon for your main transformation, not for your digivololution or devolutions. As I said, you have to patch the new digimon into the digivolution tree. |
