Official communique from the Presidium of the Ukrainian S. S. R. We lodge an official protest against the Secretary of State for Defence of the British Empire, following alleged comments at the British press pointing forth immeasurable vulgarity against the Ukrainian people. These comments, having come without absolutely any provocations, are the second large scale diplomatic incident of this proportion, and it is something we can entirely not tolerate at any circumstances. The Ukrainian S. S. R. asks that the British minister takes responsibility for the insults spurt forth and brings the consequences upon himself, lest this diplomatic crisis, the second of this proportion and scale, permanently injure Ukrainian-British relations. |

Official communique from the Presidium of the Ukrainian S.S.R. The incident with Mr. Winston is the second such important public insult towards the Ukrainian working class, proletariat and socialist state, and inaction from your government's part can only help sunder our faith in maintaining healthy bilateral relations between the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and our dear friends and allies the British. We would like to see decisive action, this time, to prove that your government is serious about maintaining healthy and cooperative relations with us. The accusation that we held ballistic attacks against the illegal Tomanian regime are preposterous and we can officially confirm that no such action ever took place, at least with official Ukrainian government or military authorities consent. We can, for the sake of proving you our non-involvement in such a brutal, counter-productive, non-pacifist and imperialist provocation, by holding an independent investigation by GRU and KGB officials, and shed infinite light to the situation. Concerning the recent mobilisation against the illegal Tomanian capitalist-imperialist pig-dog regime, however, which brutally oppresses the Russian, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Polish, Czech, and now Finnish working classes and proletariat, we cannot help but feel cheated and provoked by your government's stance in this matter. The Tomanian fascists have occupied great portions of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, whose dissolution not only do we not recognise but also deny and see ourselves as their rightful successors for all legal purposes and beyond, and thus far, the British government has failed to satisfy us in regards to foreign policy approach in regards to the matter. In addition, we are offended by the fact you indirectly threaten us and imply action, at the same time you have failed to provide us, or the Finnish proletariat for that matter, with action of even mild diplomatic nature in regards to Finland, beyond some basic and relatively pointless action via the United Nations Organisation. The constant military attacks of the Tomanian capitalist-imperial fascists are threatening the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic, and the recently liberated and freed Russian, Georgian, Azerbaijan and Armenian territories, and our very existence. We find that this threat needs to be dealt with now, and banished outside the Soviet border, in order to assure the security of the Soviet peoples and republics, and to pave the way for the restructuring and openness of the former Soviet lands to form new, free, fair and democratic socialist governments in accordance to the will the Soviet peoples. Not recognising the Tomanian wannabe-state, we cannot hold bilateral discussions about the matter, however, in full accordance with the pacifist and democratic wishes of the Ukrainian workers and proletarians, as led by the Communist Party of Ukraine in accordance to our electorate's wishes, we are prepared to either find means of pacifying the enemy by peace, or by forcing peace. If the British government wants to subtly but evidently assure us of its good will and intentions towards our government, we expect you to show us diplomatic support and assistance in peacefully pacifying the Tomanian imperialist trolls in both Finland and sovereign Soviet territory, and failing that, support, quietly if need be, our moves towards the liberation of the Byelorussian, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Soviet Socialist Republics and the restoration of their rightful and sovereign government currently in refuge here in Ukraine, and also the sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic over the Kaliningrad oblast, which is also subject to the same illegal, oppressive and blood-thirsty occupation as the Soviet republics previously mentioned. We hope that the British government will support its allies, like we are prepared to support by all means in our hands your operations towards shoving the Tomanian colonising imperialist pig dogs out of the American continent and elsewhere, like we have already done by mobilising our border troops and forcing them to maintain valuable divisions at home and not overseas. We hope that the current crisis in our relations will prove to be much less severe than your headless and idiotic defence minister has already implied over British media. I hope that this short and simple letter will suffice to explain you our situation and points of view, although me and my Foreign Minister are already to provide you with a longer essay over the situation as it might be necessary. I look forward to your response, given its weight and importance. Signed, Viktor Tymoshenko General Secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine Edited by Antartis, Jan 22 2010, 02:17 PM.

Official communique from the Presidium of the Ukrainian S.S.R. Your points and words have been noted and taken into consideration. We hope that so have ours, although your communiques have no clear indication that this has happened. I must admit I am somewhat disappointed by that. We have repeatedly sought to affirm our alliance with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and indeed support it, like when we initiated border manoeuvres for the purpose of covering British and other NATO manoeuvres against the Osterlich Pact. Just because we do not integrate our armed forces command or do not standardise, which is a wise move considering our geographical proximity and the associated expenditures, does not mean we are not committed. The existence of the Kiev Treaty does not plagiarise our NATO obligations in any manner. The treaty is in the open in its text and it is a solely defensive and cooperative agreement which helped coordinate Ukrainian defence on our southern flank together with Iberia, in a field where the Osterlich-controlled Greek and Romanian fleets would have provided us with great a pain. It is true that the wording used to describe the illegal Tomanian fascist regime might seem extreme, however it would be irrespective of your part to accuse us of being extreme and try to change us in the same manner the Communist Party of Ukraine, affirming its desire for democracy, peace and cooperation, has never, ever brought a single ideological argument at the face of Britain or Ukraine's other allies. We are tolerant, and expect you to be the same. That being said, we are committed to peace and the protection of the Ukrainian, Soviet and International workers, farmers, intelligentsia and proletariat and their movements. The loss of a single human life is a tragedy. But what do the British seriously expect us to do when a neighbouring terrorist group, that band of Tomanian thieves which has subjugated the Belarussian, Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian and Estonian brothers of ours to our north, itself mobilises and begins yet more invasions? Does the British government seriously expect us to not undertake our commitments and respond to the endless aggression of physical and verbal nature originating from Osterlich? No, sir. We shall not leave our frontiers undefended, and we will not allow the Finnish people to be subjugated. Our policy is a free and independent Finnish Republic with a democratically elected government and no foreign intrusion in its interior affairs. If the British do seek to avert war, I call you to act as mediators in a conference between the Tomanian leadership (but only in its capacity as "controllers of the Czech, Polish, Belarussian, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian territories and the Russian Kaliningrad enclave") and of the leadership of the Communist Party of Ukraine (in its capacity as "ruling organisation in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and representative of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic and the unorganised Armenian, Azerbaijan, Georgian and Russian Soviet republics.") Such a meeting would enable direct discussion with no recognition, but our targets, which is the liberation of the former Soviet republics under Tomanian yoke, shall not change. We take offence at the historical criticism of our state, in moments when we have not offended or criticised the British Empire's historical misdeeds but also in a time where your monarch embarks on an international tour and very clearly prefers to visit Osterlich rather than Kyiv, implying much warmer Tomanian-British relations than the Ukrainian-British ones. This is unacceptable. Our peace proposal is centred around the independence of Finland and the restoration of the Communist Party of Belarus, of Lithuania, of Latvia and of Estonia in their respective boundaries as state authorities, as well as passage of the Kaliningrad enclave to the Russian state. This will enable an internationally open conference among all rightful inheritors of the Soviet legacy to see what path will we pursue, as well as the elimination of the direct threat of our existence. In turn this enables us to reduce our militarisation and feel assured about our peaceful lifestyles. Of course, failure to establish diplomatic contacts with the Tomanian occupiers only means that we will have to undertake the most unfortunate path towards our objectives, the path which British diplomatic hostility will have pushed us to undertake. I hope that your monarch will give us the honour of actually considering to visit our national capital at Kyiv, or at least a city in the Crimea, where I can hold direct discussions with her, and also show the world that the Ukrainian and British governments are still committed allies that do not seek to diplomatically insult one another through exclusions from tours and backroom plotting. I am awaiting your response. Signed, Viktor Tymoshenko General Secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine |

Official communique from the Presidium of the Ukrainian S.S.R. It has been decided to officially endorse the proposed conference. We are prepared to hold negotiations, however given the adamant and non-compromising attitude of the Tomanian fascists we do not remain hopeful. As such, our military mobilisations will continue until further notice. We are already prepared to cede necessary ground, however the liberation of the former Soviet Republics in some form or another is a non-negotiable demand of the Soviet and Ukrainian peoples to which we must adhere. That being said the Ukrainian embassy to the meeting will be closely evaluating British attitude and behaviour during the meeting. This will be the third of a series of "tests" we have decided to undertake in order to evaluate the viability and reliability of Britain as a strong partner of equal standing to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republics. Unlike certain others, we do have faith in you, and hope you do not prove us wrong. It is my hope to host direct talks between your Queen and myself for that matter, on Ukrainian sovereign territory. I look forward to seeing the Tomanian attitude in action. Signed, Viktor Tymoshenko General Secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine |
