I didn't realize this system had such high g accelerations for non ftl flight. What systems are being used to keep occupants of ships capable of more than 10 g's from being crushed against the back of the ship walls?

Cloaking device can turn a ship invisible to the naked eye (and mask whatever emissions/signals/traces/et cetera you so desire); stealth system masks a ship's signatures, but does not hide the ship from the eye (making it cheaper than the cloaking device).

I'll place this in its own thread once I hear from you guys.

Below is the preliminary version of the SURT'R, an ancient Selenaran MAIMED-U or MAIMED Unit (Military Artificial Intelligence Main Eradication and Defence Unit) and the only one of its kind. The Surt'r consists of four independent modules, each representing a completely separate and independent part of the ship. It has the size of a small planet.

At the centre of the Surt'r is the Core Unit. This is a Universal Constructor - the ultimate power plant and real driving force behind the vessel. The Core Unit possesses enormous fusion reactors of unparalleled technological level, enormous cargo bays for fuel and supplies, and three refineries which process ore and fuel alike. Its efficiency is at 99,999999% of the fuel it uses -meaning it leaves almost no trace of waste or byproducts- and this makes it the most efficient engine in the galaxy. The Core Unit includes a cockpit-sized room where the AI commanding the Surt'r is based at, right at the centre of the ship.

Right outside it, enclosing the Core Unit and yet being able to separate is the Secondary Unit. This has a secondary bridge, a hospital facility, manufacturing facilities and large cargo space. It also possesses secondary engines for the absence or augmentation of the Core Unit engines.

The Main Unit of Surt'r is the third layer. Also independent-capable, it has the same facilities as the Secondary Unit, but also enough space to accommodate 1800 living beings, or in their absence (as is the case) a legion of remote-controlled droids that defend and board target vessels.

The Exterior Unit is the true power of Surt'r. Commandable from a small cockpit if it comes down to separating from the other four components, it has living space for 30 living beings, two assault pods, transporter space with 220 remote-controlled fighters and bombers, and mining equipment. Its defences include 5 heavy and 10 medium point-defence batteries, 20 batteries of Gatling phasers, and a single super-heavy magnetic accelerator cannon which can be used to hurl enormous asteroids stored within the planet-sized machine on targets. Unlike smaller its counterparts, it has only basic sensors.

All layers augment each other. When combined, their engines can be used together for maximum efficiency, and their combined armour is said to render the Core Unit invulnerable. The station is fully automated, self-repairing, and independent, as well as able to produce its own droids and fighters and repair nearby allied ships. Their combined six cloaking devices can cloak it as well as several allied ships with a number of layers, meaning its electrical signature is almost invisible; its six large shield generators work in combination, too. Furthermore, its gravitational pull enables it to allow the faster-than-light travel of objects caught in its field, so it's normal to spot it with numerous asteroids trapped on it.

This apocalyptic device is on its own, rogue and controlled by nobody for over 22 thousand years, somewhere in interstellar space. It was designed as the pinnacle of Selenaran technology - the Selenar Empire's supreme military force, fully loyal to the Empress and said to be a planet-buster. The Surt'r has two "moons" -two fully operational FREYJA stations- and its own small remote-controlled fleet of a Selenaran aircraft carrier and numerous ships.

Effectively this is an independent, off-limits "secret faction" waiting for Apocalypse. Surt'r has been recorded in Arzhamar myth as "ΑΩ" ("AO"), meaning "the Beginning and the End", and as the God of the Gods, who destroyed the Old World and will destroy the New World once the moment comes. This is, of course, a direct reference to other Selenaran AIs, including CRIS, DEIMOS and the AINE. Surt'r will have played a key role in the history and myth of Selenar factions of all "levels".

The Valkyrie is, effectively, the Hecatian Raptor XS's cousin, also a derivative of the earlier Selenaran exosuit type which thus far remains of unknown specifications. Possessing bioarmour, this suit is self-repairing. This won't be seen on board ships.

The Phoenix is essentially a replacement for my stupid earlier "Arzhamar Heavy Fighter." It has lower acceleration and point cost than the Arzhamar Heavy Fighter, so it will butterfly itself in place of my ships. Possessing bioarmour, this vessel is self-repairing. The old fighter will be in use by colonies or space stations, but not ships.
