David walked through the sandy and desolate wastes of Western America. One foot at a time, one step after another. he walked very calmly and carefully, his left hand up in front of his chest waving free as if he were waving to someone in the distance. His eyes were kept on the ground in front of him, staring at his feet as he walked. It wouldn't seem like David knew or even cared where he was going. In point of fact, he it was most likely that he didn't even know he was aware he was moving. David spent most of his time so incredibly focused on one thing that he could push everything else to the back of his awareness so the fact that he was walking might be totally lost on him. |

David continued walking, still unaware that he had moved miles away from where he had teleported into the deep desert. His wanderings drew the attention of a cluster of men with rifles. They watched the lonely david from a distance, their rifles trained on the intruder into their lands. "Should we shoot first?" One of the desert men asked. "Mah'ak would capture him for interrogation first." Another said. "Mah'al isn't here. Plus, there isn't a Stiech near by we can take him. we'd have to carry him over open desert at least 20 miles to Stiech Kan." The first one rebutted. A third one looked up from his binoculars and addressed the argument. "We can interrogate him here. Surround him, incapacitate him and then learn his objectives in our lands. If he is honorable, we can let him walk out. If he is not, we kill him." The other two looked at each other before looking back at the third. They all nodded in agreement and scrambled from their hiding place. |

David continued his half stumbling walk through the wastes. His hand had stopped waving, being replaced instead by David speaking all the "B" words that were written in the 2005 Webster's abridged english dictionary. When the Dune men popped out of the sand in their normally surprising and dramatic fashion, he didn't even bother to notice them. This fact slightly put the Dune men off. They usually got quite a response from Human and Demon alike when they ambushed a target. "Stop!" One of them shouted, pointed his wrist mounted crossbow at David. David ignored the threat and kept walking. One of the Dune men sidestepped in front of him to block his path. David did his best to walk right through the man but it was no contest. The Dune man was 190 pounds of muscle. When he couldn't walk any more, David tried pushing. The Dune man pushed back. David grunted and pushed as hard as he could, grunting and moaning as loud as he could. "What the devil?" One of the Dune men said. "I think not all this guys bills are in order in his brain." The Dune man wrestling with David pushed him back and stepped out of his way. David got up and continued his walk, starting over his verbal tic, this time starting with the "A" words. |
