Mack heard them long before he should have. Their stomping was loud, certainly but he shouldn't have been able to hear the words the demons said to one another at over half a mile away. But still he heard the order and their stomping. "You have got to be kidding me." Mack said as he ran up to the cockpit. He wanted to turn the ships cloak on but everything was powered down. "Son of a..." Mack grabbed his P-90 and ran out of the ship and shut the door. If he couldn't take on 2 stags he'd wouldn't stand a chance against 10, but he'd have to at least try and lead them away from his airship. Away from the culmination of 2 years of science and magical research. Maybe he could get a lucky shot off or something. From his pocket he withdrew a crystal and placed it next to his airship before walking away. |

Derrick was flying through the air looking around "Somethings not right here..." he said the stags turned around and pointed at him. "There..." It said as another one picked up a RPG. "Fire!" The stag pulled the trigger and fired the rocket came close to Derrick. He looked over "Damn!" He yelled as he was hit with the rocket the explosion knocked him out the air and he slammed into the ground hard. Blood was everwhere on him as he struggled to move "Mom...Dad...I'm sorry..." Derrick said losing conscience. The Stags and Blitz begin to close in on him. Drake sat up when he heard the explosion "What the hell?" Drake said as he stood up and started running towards the smoke he saw. |

Isabella stepped out of the portal. Her eyes widened,"Anna, get away from here as fast as you can." She turned around,"ANNA!" Anna was bolting toward the spot were the Blitz and Stags were crowding around,"HEY YOU UGLY BASTARDS! STEP AWAY FROM THE SMOKY PILE OF WHATEVER AND FACE ME!" Bella growled,"Anna NO!" Lilith sighed,"Girl always was a Saint." Bella held out her hand and fired a ball of flame over Anna's head,knocking a Blitz aside. Her brain froze momentarily,"Oh my God, DERRICK!" Lilith growled and unfolded her wings,"Damnit, we have to get Marina to him quickly." Bella smirked,"I clear the path and you fly in to save the day." Lilith nodded,"Roger that Batman!" Bella ran forward as Lilith picked up Marina and started to soar directly over Isabella's head. |

The Stags stepped back as the Throne came at them "Call General Mikhal tell him we need back up" one of them said. The Blitz that Anna hit fliped over and began to teleport all around as its chains were broken. "Shit!!!" One of the Stags yelled as it was cut in half by the Blitz (Which are blind so they don't know friend from foe, thus the chains). Marina put up a forcefield around herself and ran towards her brother "Derrick hold on!!!" She yelled as she kneeled down next to him and started to heal him she had to drop her shield to do this. The other stags aimed their guns and began to fire at Bella, Anna and Lilith. "Release the other Blitz!!!" one yelled the last blitz was released it teleported and appeared right next to Marina and Derrick. It prepared to attack them Marina let out a loud scream. At the last second a sword stabbed into the Blitz forcing it to the ground. Marina looked at the sword "That sword..." She said in shock. "Yo...hands off ugly" Drake said as he stepped on the struggling Blitz and shot it in the head several times. He looked up and turned to look at Marina "Are you ok?" he asked her. Marina's eyes were swelled up with tears as she nodded yes. |

Anna screamed as a bullet pierced her knee,"Mom!" Lilith spiraled down in a crouch next to Isabella,"What do we do Eeva?" Bella narrowed her eyes,"We try not to get hit, and we get my daughter's and son to safety." Lilith nodded and then froze,"Bella, don't look." Bella turned her head,"Don't look at what? All I see is Marina and Derrick and some...." Her voice broke and her vision clouded over. Lilith growled,"I said not to look!" Bella started running forward, not paying any attention to the bullets. Anna struggled to her feet,"Mom, watch out?!?" One of the Stags hit the side of Bella's head with the butt of his gun. She fell to the ground none to gracefully, the small skirt not doing much for her dignity. Lilith growled and forced her hand through the Stags chest,"Worthless little underling!" Bella moaned,"Drake...." Lilith rolled her eyes and pulled out the Stag's heart,"Oh, now you think its him! Nice timing O'Sheen!" |

Drake pulled his sword out of the Blitz and ran towards Bella, LIlith and Anna. He slid on the ground and pulled out both guns and started firing at the Stags. As he pulled the triggers on the guns the bullets started to glow red tearing up the ground and hitting a few of the stags. One of the stags raised his hand "Fall back for now...we need to regroup!!! Leave the Blitz!!!" He said as the 8 stags fell back. The Blitz were still running around one lept at Drake he pulled up his sword and blocked the attack. "Go..." Drake said to Lilith "Get them to safety..." He nodded his head in a direction "That way to Mack's ship!!!" he yelled to them as he forced the first Blitz back. The second one tried to slash Drake from behind but he jumpped out the way. Marina stood up with Derrick now healed they went over to the others Derrick picked up Bella as Marina quickly healed Anna's knee. "Come on!!!" She yelled. |

Isabella came too when they started running,"No, your father. Put me down... I have to help him. I can't be weak again." Lilith hit over the head, and Bella passed back out. Anna glared at her,"What the hell?!?" Lilith smirked,"She is delusional. Wait till she wakes up. She honestly won't think that is Drake." Anna sighed,"Because you hit her!" Lilith shrugged,"Right, like that is the reason. Bella is an idiot." Anna just laughed,"She is no more of an idiot than our Dad. I mean... HELLO." Lilith flicked Anna's arm as they walked onto the ship,"Apples don't fall far from the tree." |

Tren sat there watching Drake's confrontation with the creature, and then when the beast told Drake how to equal him in power he shook his head. "Does not the power of heaven equal the power of hell?" asked Tren, of the great beast that was diablo, before turnning towards drake, and following him. He thought over the conversation a little bit as event's played out and then once battle came at hand, and Drake told everyone to fall back, Tren wasn't about to let drake fight alone. As Drake jumped away from the one who attacked him, Tren came up from the side blasting it back with a blue wave of energy, and then sent Ice shards flying out at both of them to hopefully make them retreat a few yards so he could group up with Drake. "Quick little bugger's aren't they?" Tren asked Drake. |

Derrick looked at Lilith who had bonked his mother. Marina sighed "I don't think that was really nessecery Aunt..." She said in soft tone. Derrick looked around at the ship wondering where the captain was. Drake slid out the way of one of the Blitz tried to attack him he looked over at Tren that attacked the other one. "Yea but not that fast..." Drake smirked as he ran towards a blitz it fired at Drake he seemingly teleported out the way the Blitz looked around. "Yo back here..." the blitz turned around and was blown away by Drake's charged gun, this time the barrow didn't fall apart. Drake turned to Tren "I'll leave the last one to you!!!" he yelled as he ran towards Mack's ship. Once there Drake slowed down and looked at Derrick, Marina, Anna and Lilith. He then looked at the knocked out Bella "Who hit her...?" Drake asked confused. |

Fog either did not hear or did not heed Drake's command. Fog ran the distance from the ship to the Stags at full speed and slammed into the nearest one headfirst with a bloodthirsty snarl. The creature lost it's footing and flew backwards through the air with Fog sailing just above him. Fog planted both feet on the still airborne demon and jumped. The force slammed the great beast into the ground, cracking the charred earth, and rocketing Fog higher into the air. He rotated his body so he was falling headfirst, and slammed into the grounded beast with his shoulder. There was a loud crunch. Fog bounced from the impact, this time floating gently down to earth like a leaf buffeted in the breeze. He touched against the ground lightly a few feet away from the fallen Stag. Dark strands of mist twisted outwards from his form and played back and forth in the wind before fading away into nothing. He smiled with apparent contentment, but the smile stopped short of his eyes, which contained nothing but a hollow yearning. He stepped away from the body of the demon, slowly approaching the other beasts. "You guys ever read the bible? You must at least be familiar with it. One day a traveller happened upon my tribe. He had a spare and he gave it to me in the hope that I would 'save these savages'. He was a misguided fool of course, but I did read it. I read it a lot, at the time we were a little short on reading materials. Even today I don't buy into much of what it said. But it had a lot of pretty words, great descriptions of primal emotions that modern people have such a hard time grasping. There's a passage that comes to mind at the moment." Fog pulled out two of his long bone knives. The dark mists from his arms coalesced around the blades. " 'this is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked. If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent. The earth is given unto the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof: if not, where, and who is he?'. Yea, that one makes a lot more sense to me now. Come now, let us bleed together Demons. You shall have the honor of being the first of your kind to fall before me." |
