Peering around the corner again, watching him yank out his blades from his neck and heal up, Doyle quickly and stealthily pulled himself back around the corner, his eyes a little wider and looking around in front of him, trying to figure out what to do. Obviously nothing on him was working against this... thing. This wasn't just a demon, he was something more. Something he had just read about in books. "Bloody hell..." he swore under his breath and slammed his head up against the wall he was against. He didn't want to admit it, but the bounty hunter was right. He didn't have a chance in hell against the likes of him, which gave him one, lonely option if he wanted to live and he wasn't quite ready to leave this hell-ridden world yet. Slowly coming around the corner with both his hands up, away from his head or his mouth, Doyle slowly took a couple steps towards him. He shrugged his shoulders slowly, not being able to stop a smirk from coming across his face, "Sorry mate, force of habit, you know how it goes when you're backed into a corner..." he looked around, still holding his hands up in front of him before looking back at the Sin in front of him, "which way?" He felt the marten tussling around in his backpack before sticking his head out and perching it on his shoulder, sticking his little claws into his back to stay in place. He hissed loudly at the bounty hunter. |

"Yeah..." Tracy mildly replied as he rubbed his throat where he was stabbed and he watched the guy's pet pop out of his bag once more. He was a little happy about at least bringing in this half demon alive since he knew that Titan was always looking for more help even though part of him would been more then happy to kill him where he stood. Well on the bright side at least he would have an excuse for why he came back a bloody mess if Wrath or Pride saw him. "Come on, my truck is that way.", Tracy pointed as he started to walk through the snow with full confidence that the man wouldn't try to run off or anything. The truck was parked at the edge of the town. It was a typical large green army truck with a canvas cover over the bed. |

Watching the bounty hunter rub his throat where he had hit him with his blades, Doyle couldn't stop himself from letting out a little smirk, slowly lowering down his hands a little. It looked like he had struck some sort of nerve with the Sin. He slowly followed him when he started walking. There wasn't much he could do now, the Sin and Titan had taken interest in him which meant there was little to go for him to escape them. There was no way he could kill him to get away, mine as well play along with their little game. Who knows, he might find a window where he could slip away. He had done it before, given a lot of demons the slip, one of the things he found himself really good at, stealth. The Marten on his shoulder started to protest, letting out a bunch of little growls and hisses, clawing at his shoulder with his claws. The firebreather just kept shrugging and gave Roux a couple stares before nodding towards the pack. Roux protested a couple more times then climbing back down into his backpack. Doyle held his hands in front of his mouth, but gave the Sin a look before doing so, a cracked smile, "Easy mate, just gettin' a little warm is all," he said out loud, blowing a breath of air into his hands, sparking a slight flame and rubbing his hands together. Spotting the truck made Doyle's smirk melt away. He didn't like cars all that much, not to mention riding in them. He thought they were a little too compacted for his taste. |

Tracy didn't worry much about his new prisoner, odds were he wouldn't be able to hurt him and if he tried to run he could just kill him and hardly anyone would care. Knowing how a lot of people act he was kind of surprised that the guy didn't try to run away yet. Tracy opened up the back of the truck and stepping aside casually ordered Doyle to get in, "Hop on in. It should be plenty warm." Tracy looked at his watch and under his breath cursed. "Shit, I'm gonna be late as hell..." He had to be back in Verbena in 15 hours and had what was probably a 18 hour drive ahead of him. He looked at Doyle with impatience as he waited for him to get into the truck so he can leave. |

Sighing deeply as the Sin opened up the back of the truck and told him to hop in, Doyle was feeling even more uncomfortable than he did when he first saw it, seeing the inside now. It looked a little cramped in the firebreather's eyes and didn't exactly look forward to just 'hopping in.' He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped, thinking twice about what he was about to say, "Not really worried about the warmth," he said twiddling his fingers, a little reminder of his power," he paused a minute before he spoke again, "Don't suppose there's any chance of a walk, eh?" He said with a nervous chuckle, "not exactly a car person, you see?" Seeing the stern and impatient look on the bounty hunter's face gave Doyle the clue that he really wasn't joking around and that if he didn't get in the back soon, he'd just kill him and save him the trouble. "Bloody hell," he sighed and climbed inside. |

"Nope, In a hurry", Tracy coldly replied to Doyle's question of walking. After the man climbed inside he looked at his watch, "Crap, I'm late", he exclaimed closing the truck's tailgate. "I think I'm forgetting something...", he said before slapping a pair of cuffs onto Doyle keeping one hand attached to a railing of the truck. "Thats so you won't fall out or anything..." Tracy jokingly said as he hopped into the front of the truck and started the engine to try to make it to an appointment on time for once. |

Doyle gave a look of frustration as he hand cuffed one hand to the railing of the truck. He took a look at them. They looked simple enough to slip out of when he wasn't looking and leaping out of a truck going fast wasn't exactly gonna be that bad of a problem. It was the whole looking back and seeing he wasn't there and then turning around to kill him. That's what stopped him from slipping out of his handcuffs as he hopped into the front of the truck. "Yea sure it is..." he said dryly, resting his back up against the end of the truck and flipped his backpack off his back and opening it. Roux popped out and looked around, growling at him. Doyle sighed quietly and shrugged, "it was either that or get violently killed...." he reached up and scratched him behind the ear, "I'm good... but not that good..." |

The trip was long but fortunately they made it to Verbena in what could be considered a record time. Tracy pulled up the truck in front of one of the many government buildings in the city and shut off the large diesel engine bringing the truck's shuttering to a stop. Tracy hopped out the truck still dressed in his blood stained uniform and pulled out a cellphone as he walked towards the back of the truck. "Muldoon, its Tracy. Meet me at the front of Building 213. I got someone I want you to watch over. Odds are they'll be your new partner." Hanging up the phone he opened up the back of the truck. and pulled open the canvas cover to greet the prisoner. "Welcome to Verbena" (Continues in Verbena - "Welcome To Verbena") |
