Rising from the ground from under Marina shadow Avi flipped her hair out of her face and pulled out her sword and struck the ground where her shadow was but because of the fact that they were hugging Zekkous was also hit with the attack. Thought this was not the first time Zekkou had been hit with this attack, Avi figured that after the second time when some of the blood stopped pumping so hard that he would notice.With them sharing the shadow all Avi could do was move her arms so no one would be would not be doing any thing agile for a minute. "As long as we share this shadow no one can move and oh Derrick if you decide to get cute and move I'll strike the girls shadow again she will die Zekkou on the other hand might just be able to take it a few more times...now lets talk," Avi said as she tried to get her hair in order a bit more. she hated to look bad under any circumstances. With Zekkou tried from the that nice big exchange Avi figure she could hold his shadow there for at least a few minutes. But Avi was not the trusting type the eye on the gauntlet of the real Avi popped out of Derrick's shadow as well as part of the scythe she was wielding if he moved to attack she planed to spring up and rend his head from his shoulders. "I'm sorry it has to come to this but Zekkou I have things that must get done...now you and the girl have been slightly poisoned you I'm sure can fight this of for a few days but she on the other hand has hours now in a few hours you need to find the cure or else she dies and then you die but that wont be for a few days now i could give you the cure... ," Avi thought wow the scythe throw was a good idea when it only barely touched him she knew he would just think she had bad aim or some thing but the red streak had been the poison she had planed on using for a while. |

Zekkou and Marina found themselves unable to move thanks to some trick Averice used to freeze their shadow. Derrick was about to move bu Zekkou signaled for him to stay. "Its fine Derrick, stay where you are..." he told him. Marina got closer to Zekkou out of fear of Avi. "Why is she doing this Zekkou?" Zekkou sighed and rubbed Marina's hair "I don't know...but you'll be fine, I promise I'll get you back to your parents ok..." He said to her he could hear crying silently. Zekkou looked up at Averice when she said that they had been posioned. Zekkou sighed some at her "So, what exactly do you want...?" he asked her looking down he noticed she was still wearing that necklace he had given her. Zekkou decided to play along seeing as it was certainly impossible Marina would die from any poison. She wasn't much of a fighter but her healing ability was the highest ever seen by most demons.

Avi looked up at Zekkou and noticed that he was not despret or any thing he just simply was calm and collected she knew some thing was very wrong he should have been worried and struggling to stop her from what she was doing. Standing to her feet Avi removed her hood she would not leave time for small talk she would have to keep him thinking that he had won and that he had some thing over her. lifting her sword out of the ground she knew she would have to do some thing drastic and so she she snapped. The same dark smoke that had drawn in his power came to take Marina though the dark corridor and to Avi's tower in France. With the girl gone the Avi that was talking to Zekkou vanished and the one who was behind Derrick also fell through the shadow and then appeared a ways a from them to speak a few more words. "I think that you may need to come to France for i can promise that the girl will be safe as long as you are this far away from her..." after Avi had said that she grabbed her throat as if she was choking and let out a cry in Marina voice. "Why is she doing this Zekkou?" she said before laughing a slightly crazy sounding laugh before she turned her back on the two and flipped up her hood and prepared to walk away. |

Zekkou growled in anger when Avi made Marina vanished as she tried to walk away Zekkou wasn't going to let her leave that easily. He reached out with his demon hand and pulled her back to him. His eyes turned blood red. At this point Zekkou looked very much like his "Father" a very very pissed of Angel. "Why are you doing this? She has nothing to do with any of this Averice!" he yelled at her in anger "All she wants is to be with her family again, who put you up to this was it my father Angelo...was it!?!" he let Averice go and pushing her hard enough that she would more than likely fall to the ground. "You're pathetic you know that would be emperess of Greed..." he laughed some "You've been reduced to a mere bounty hunter...nothing more than Titan's lacky..." he started to walk away from her "Derrick open a portal to France...it doesn't matter if we're detected or not..." Derrick shook his head and swung his sword tearing open a portal. |
