Zekkou sat up and looked around it was almost morning the patrols were about to slow down he hoped. He stood up and walked around he saw the young man standing guard. He had bright orange hair and was holding a long sword. "Derrick..." Zekkou said to him. Derrick turned around and looked at Zekkou "Anything...?" Zekkou asked Derrick shook his head no. "Okay, we'll be heading out soon..." Zekkou picked up his sword and coat he put both items on and walked over to the young girl she was about 16 lying on the ground. He knelt down and nudged her. "Hey Marina wake up, we're bout to leave..." The girl started to move, she wiped her eyes and yawn. "Okay Zekkou..." She said as she started to stand up. Zekkou stood up too and looked around "Drake...where the hell are you?" he thought to himself looking over the destroyed area. |

Zekkou stabbed his blade into an assault one lept past him towards Marina. "No you don't!!!" Zekkou turned around and grabbed the assault with his devil arm and slammed it on the ground several times killing it. "Thank you Zek..." Marina said as she stepped back some. Derrick slid back and stabbed his sword into the head of an assault. The demons started to disintegrate. Derrick wiped some blood off his arm and Marina ran over to him. "Brother you're hurt..." She said healing him. He smiled at her. Marina turned around and looked at Zekkou "Are you okay Zek...?" She asked him blushing. Zekkou turned and looked at him "No I'm fine...are you ok?" She nodded yes as Zekkou came over to the two of them. "We have to get to the docks...we should be there in about a day or so..." he told them. |

With more and more of the power of hell unleashed here on earth Avi found that she could access more and more of her demonic powers and heritage than before this meant she would not have to use quite as may spells as she had used before. Upon her teleportation circle's fade Avi quickly got a sense of where Zekkou was sent was pungent in the air like he had been through this area a few times before she had arrived.This time she would use her power the power she had let lie dormant for ages the same power she used on Astra. All she need was the cover of night and justt a bit of moonlight and she would be able to take him by surprise in the hopes that he would be caught of gaurd and she could finish this task before he realized what had happened. The cover of night would allow her to take the children and do what she wished with them. The only problem was the time line she was given one or two more nights and she may have a better chance but she would have to make this strike tonight. So with a plan worked out Avi tossed her hood aside and wrapped her face with a mask no need not to play the part she thought to her self. with her identity sealed away Avi slowly let her claws dig in to the earth as she got on all fours allowing her now showing tail to rise in to the air she would hang back until the right time for the attach. "Zekkou I'm just so sorry she said to her self as she moved in getting close so she could her what they spoke about they could reveal some thing critical to her mission. Zekkou sat down and stabbed his sword into the ground. He looked over at Derrick who had the map "How much further Derrick...?" Zekkou asked him. Derrick turned around "If we keep on our present coarse we should arrive by tomorrow afternoon Zekkou..." Derrick said turning back around to look out at the sky. Zekkou nodded and looked down smirking "Ever vigilant..." Zekkou said about Derrick knowing he would continue to over look everything. Marina ran over to Zekkou and handed him an apple. "I found this Zek...thinks its okay to eat..." She asked him smiling Zekkou looked at the apple then shrugged and took a bite of it. "Taste good...juicy..." he said to her through his chewing. Marina giggled at Zekkou as she took a bite of hers. "You're right Zek...hey bro..." Derrick turned around and caught an apple he smiled and took a bite of it. Zekkou kept eating his suddenly his demon arm started glowing Zekkou looked at it "This energy..." he said in shock Marina looked at him "Zek what is it?" She asked. |

Seeing that she had raise some sort of alarm Avi quickly retreated trying her best to move as quickly as possible away from them realized that she had seen that Zekkou could identify others just by the energy they exhumed unintentionally. Because she remembered this she made sure that while she was running she would keep her self from exhuming to mush energy so that it would be harder to identify her. She had no need for him to know that it would her who came to tear him and the children that were with him apart that would be cruel. Once a save enough distance she pulled out her fathers old scythe as her pace slowed to a walk and she stood up on two legs she took a look at the blade. Grandalla had not been used in ages but when she ran it across her finger it still cut just like it did five hundred years ago. The blade part of her scythe was always so lose but then again it was on a little wheel that didn't lock very well to her. With the blade part looked in to place Avi just kinda swung it around a few times trying to get a feel for it again. |

Derrick and Marina went over to Zekkou who was standing up staring off into the distance. "What should we do Zek?" Marina asked him frightened apparently. "Its a Mazoku...Derrick, take Marina and get to the harbor..." Zekkou turned to look at them Marina had a worried look on her face "We can't leave you Zek..." She started Zekkou smirked at her "Come on now Marina...I can take care of myself, I am a Throne afterall I can take on a single Mazoku...as long as its not your dad that is..." he laughed some. "Go now Derrick, I'll be right behind you guys..." he said. Derrick nodded and picked up Marina and started to run off. Zekkou picked up his sword and looked on in the distance "You might aswell come out and face me...I know you're there..." he said to the person. |

Seeing how all he could do was get a vaguely sense of where she was Avi would not break stealth just to answer his call she would not come out from where she was but she would have to stop the kids from getting away first. And with that in mind she slowly summon the her dark crimson energy and with it created four shadowy wraiths with these by her side she would have plenty of time to round every one up and then destroy them. Strapping the Scythe back on her back Avi again got on all fours and began to make her way around Zekkou and to the children while her created minions were to keep Zekkou busy until she got back to deal with him. The shadowy wraiths had not needed to be ordered around they would do as Avi thought rather than what she said. Ran in an arc like shape making sure to stay out of Zekkou way she sent her hounds straight in after him to keep him where he was. The pack was good for one thing and that was ambush a lot like wolves. As the y slowly moved in one allow part of its body to be seen by Zekkou to entice him to the chase. As quickly as Avi could move she figure she would catch up to the children in a matter of seconds and with her wolves dealing with the stall move this plan was perfect. |

Zekkou saw the ghost things coming he smirked "Oh come on, is this really the best you got..." He said as he pulled out his gun and spun it on his finger the gun started to glow a bright white as Zekkou pointed it at the ghost. "Bang..." Zekkou said firing Angelic energy at the obviously demonic creatures. Zekkou snarled as he put his gun away "Distractions..." he said ignoring the attacking wraiths he smirked as they seemed to be trying to keep him away from Derrick and Marina. "Yea right..." Zekkou laughed as he lept in the air nearly 20 feet over the wraiths and kept going. Derrick was still carrying Marina as he slid to a stop. "What are you doin...?" Marina asked as Derrick pointed for her to stand back. He pulled out his long sword as red electricity surronded him. Derrick was probably not as strong as his father but he was still a full blooded Mazoku and he would not be defeated. |

The sent of Zekkou was getting stronger Avi would need to buy just a bit more time so with just a little concentration and some focused chanting the shadowy wraiths became real and metal in nature with them more physically strong they could make themselves just a bit more useful to her since Zekkou decided that today he wanted to be smart and not fall for a trap. It was weird that today he decided to be smart of all days of the week today he was smart about traps. Seeing just up ahead in a clearing the boy had drawn his sword like that would help him Avi didn't even draw her sword or scythe. she simply just stopped sprinting and came to a stop just out the boys sight line. There she threw her hood on to hide her fave and most of her body. Quickly Avi Ran out allowing her self to be seen and as she ran around the one Avi stopped at a point around the children. When she stopped running there were eight Avis ready to stike at a moments notice. Back with Zekkou the wolves had begun to make attempts to attack him rather that distract him. With one quickly running in after the next they tried to be as agile to keep him from just shooting them they wanted him to fight each of them with his sword. As the three ran around him jumping and moving the biggest the leader watched from just a few feet away waiting for his best chance to strike. |

Zekkou laughed as the wraiths became physical "Idiot...made a little too easy..." he laughed as he spun around and grabbed the attacking wolf with his demon arm. He smirked and slammed the thing on the ground with enough force to leave a small crater. Zekkou jumped back and laughed as he put his sword in his demon hand. The sword began to glow a deep reddish black color Zekkou spun twice and swung his sword towards the wolves sending out a wave of energy strong enough to tear the entire area in front of him to shreds. Zekkou turned around still in the air the energy signiture he was feeling had become very familiar. Zekkou knew who it was he was facing and he wanted to get there in time to see her. Derrick saw the 8 copies of whoever it was that was chasing them. He smirked evilly looking much like his father and uncle. Derrick grabbed Marina and jumped into the air pulling her along. She screamed out of sheer shock of being so high up. Derrick's sword begin to pulse with black energy he swung it downward causing a large explosion where their would be murderer was at. |
