Drake woke up yawning, he wasn't sure how long he had slept, he couldn't honestly remember the last time he had slept. It felt like he had just woken up from a coma though, hibernation. He felt completely recharged. Drake sat up looking around letting his brain register where he was for the time being, he remembered that he was on a boat. With ghost, and a guy possessed by an angel. Looking to his side he saw Maria there, she seemed like she was out of it. He decided to let her sleep and got out of the bed, he walked out the little guest room. Sareena: Awake finally? Drake looked over Sareena was sitting on the couch, she had taken her sling off "How's your arm?" he asked her, she moved it a few times. Sareena: Healed but still sore...won't be doing anything to crazy with it... "Well at least you're feeling better..." he said nodding to her, Drake walked out on the deck and looked around. The ocean looked nice, though the sea air was getting to him a bit. He looked over seeing land not too far from there. Drake wondered how long they had been sailing, he wasn't even sure if Rhode was the one sailing the ship or if his ghost friends were. He never bothered to ask. Voice: Knew you'd be here soon enough Drake turned around someone landed on the ship. It was Alastor he cracked his neck walking over to Drake "You knew I would come back" Drake said to him "I told you I would when I finished up with Mephisto" He added. Alastor smirked at him. Alastor: Yeah I know...glad you did though, just had to put out a fire involving one of the Samael's generals. If we're going to attack Baal, now would be the time "Fine, seems like you have a plan. Lets here it" Drake said to him. |

Drake swung his sword Alastor moved back from the attack, taking a few steps back Alastor got his balanced but before he could react Drake was right up on him swinging his sword again. "Got ya" Drake said, Alastor smirked and blocked the attack with his forearm. He laughed at Drake pulling his fist back to punch him. Alastor: Still not good enough! Alastor swung his fist but Drake grabbed Alastor's arm with his demonic hand. Drake smirked forcing Alastor's arm down, Alastor growled, Drake head butted Alastor making him stumble back and grab his head in pain. Drake ran at Alastor swinging his sword Alastor growled and his sword materialized slamming into Drake's sword. "Hmm you had to use your sword" Drake said to Alastor. Alastor smirked at him. Alastor: Well, what can I say I guess I underestimated you bro. Now lets see if you can figure out to control that power of yours Alastor's eyes turned red and he forced Drake back the ground behind Drake cracking into pieces as he slid back. Alastor chased after Drake swinging his sword putting Drake on the defensive. Alastor continued the slam his sword against Drake's ripping up the ground behind him as the did. Alastor: Whats wrong Drake! Can't keep up! Drake growled and swung back but Alastor vanished "The hell?" Drake said, suddenly Drake's arm started bleeding as Alastor appeared behind him, Drake turned around and swung his sword but Alastor was gone again. Drake looked around confused about what was happening, he turned seeing Alastor for a moment but then he was gone again. Alastor started to laugh about this. Alastor: Drake, you rely too much on your eyes you know. You're a demon act like one...stop thinking you idiot. Fight with your instincts Appearing next to Drake, Alastor ducked down as Drake swung his sword. Alastor smirked swinging his sword upward knocking Drake's sword out his hand at the same time sweeping Drake off his feet. Slamming to his back Drake found Alastor's foot on his chest and his sword at his throat. "Fuck..." Drake said. Alastor: Not good enough Hellion, and I'm not even going as hard as I can...now get up and lets go again. Alastor moved his foot and Drake started to get up. He grabbed his sword and stepped away from Alastor taking his stance. Drake looked around, faster than me. Stronger than me, I'll have to outsmart him. Drake thought, he stopped for a second, or lets not try to outsmart him. Drake got ready to fight again. Alastor sighed. Alastor: He's not gonna get it like this Alastor took off towards Drake swinging his sword, Drake tried to parry but Alastor vanished hitting Drake in the back. Drake turned around and swung Alastor blocked his attack with ease. They continued on as Uriel watched. Uriel: He's definitely not going to get it like this... |

Rin looked to Rhode when he started asking about her wards, and if he could carve them into bullets. "We usually used scroll paper so it would stick to targets, but I'm thinking these cards and if you were able to draw or carve them into the bullets I think it would work, though most of my wards do a number of things," said Rin laying out a few cards she had already done. She pointed to each one in turn saying what the symbol represented. "Fire to burst enemies on fire, Ice to freeze them, Lightning to zap them and easily kill them. This one is a generic ward to keep a spirit in place where it stands works on most lower spirits, I think you'd need multiples to chain down anything sizable like we have been running into. Yes that means angels as well as you call them, back where I come from good and evil are all spirits or Kami." "The one's on your boat are a bit rushed but it keeps most spirits away from wandering into your home, supposed to hang them from your front door to ward them away, might not be a bad idea to do here as well," said Rin before looking over to Anthony. "Long story, but he had a lead on another Muramasa blade in Europe so he was heading there. I though he could use a bit more power if he was going alone." She let a half frown cross her face for a moment for letting it fade. "I would love to see the bow, Rhode I guess we'll be in the armory looking for a sword if you can grab it," she said with a bit of a smile. "Here you can keep those cards for your reference, if I think of any more useful ones for you I'll let you know." Rin handed over the cards and then stood up motioning with her head that they should go to the armory now. ___________________________________________________________ Stop thrust, side parry, overhead slash. Tren's blade sung through the air quickly despite its length. He practiced an old form upon imaginary opponents throwing a quick barrier in between to simulate him not being able to block an attack coming at him, and then countered. He was already working up a sweat, and his shirt was taken off to feel the cool air. He finished another quick series of sequences before stopping and looking down at his blade gripped tightly in two hands. How many warriors had wielded this before him? Arthur of course, but there had been others past him. Slowly his line had become demon hunters changing tactics throughout the ages to match the times but the sword always remained. It had been a companion to them, though he wasn't sure what that meant for him. Had all that came before him been worthy and chosen to wield the blade? He had acquired the blade by default and wasn't sure there wouldn't have been someone better. Leveling the sword in front of him he wondered if he could outside of battle get the blade to glow yellow like it often did when he was indeed of it. Just transferring energy didn't seem to work. Closing his eyes he tried to quiet his mind, slowly pushing thoughts and worries away. When he was calm he opened his eyes and the blade hadn't changed. He laughed a bit at himself. "Guess the cheesy movies don't always work," said Tren shaking his head as he lowered the blade reversing the grip and stabbing the tip into the ground. ??: The blade is meant to protect. Tren whirled to look for the intruder but despite looking around he found no one. He eyed the blade. "No, no talking blade," said Tren denying his next thought. There was no response from the blade itself nor did the voice come again. He picked up the blade walked over to a bench and cracked open water downing the water bottle and glanced over to the swimming pool. He smirked. "Why not?" He charged and cannonballed into the water. |

A soft beeping hit John's ears, and it took him a moment to realize where it was coming from. He looked he around for a moment then checked his helmet, where he confirmed that's where it was from. He stuck it on his head, checking out what was going on. [INITIALIZATION COMPLETE. ACTIVATE AI?... John toggled in the affirmative. After that, there was silence for a while, the he felt something that was like a cooling sensation in the back of his head. He smiled under his helmet. It feels like I was hit by a truck... What happened? Last thing I remember was... The Covenant? Relax, Iona. The Covenant... there's much to explain. Long story short, we were sent back in time. Back in time? How is that even possible? I though I was the one who joked like that? You were damaged when I sent off the slipspace nuke in the Coven[pant ship, and when I came to, I was on Earth, some months ago. No wonder im not picking up any slipspace signals or transponders. I can hack into these old satellites. Just.. do what you have been doing, big guy. Iona was John's AI, or his teams AI, and she just chose to usually be in Johns armor. Their entire conversation was held in John's helmet, closed off from everyone. When there was mentioning of an armory, he perked up. I think I will head there as well. He fallowed Rhode, until he was stopped by Rin for something, and John himself continued to the basement, where indeed it opened up into a private armory. John couldn't help but whistle, take off his helmet, which he set on a countertop, and walk around slowly. Look at everything... Seems like most of these are either unregistered or stolen. And they are all ancient models. None of them have a digital interface for your armor. You would be lucky to get more than a sight and ammo readout in your HUD. I would be scared to use most of these...[/color] He grabbed an M-16 rifle off a rack, the rifle, a full size for this time, looking pretty damn small in his hands. He didn't even think his finger would fit through the trigger guard with his gauntlets on, and he felt that if he put too much pressure in it, he would simply break the rifle. He put it back. He look, an Vulcan cannon. Or rather, a minigun. Smaller and lighter than what we have, but probably puts out the same power. You can probably move faster, too. Maybe I should use it tomorrow, Iona. Tomorrow? Whats going on tomorrow? We're assaulting Baal's fortress in South America. The Battle of.. No... Don't tell me... Yup.. looks like hes me. Wow, I didn't know I would be paired with a famous historical figure. I think I have a new love for you. Oh ha ha. Just keep doing what your doing... |

“Will do. Meet you down there.” Rhode said. He took the cards and as he walked to the house’s garage building, he started snapping pictures of them with his phone for future reference. “I like the lightning idea.” he said as he popped the Malibu’s trunk. It would be interesting to experiment. with the size of the bullets though i doubt you’d be able to get any more than one marking on it. “We’ll have to see. Alastor said there were angelic weapons down in the armory. You know what that means.” Rhode said grabbing the bow out of the trunk along with the arrows. The bow had a quiver attached to it so he pre loaded the quiver with 8 arrows and then carried the rest of them in his hand. He also grabbed one of the AK47s he’d grabbed earlier. Along with the daggers from the debacle on Lake Superior and we can begin making more bullets, perhaps even modifying the gun itself. “Thats what i was thinking. Any thoughts on how? i’m not going to have to remake everything again am i?” No, nothing so drastic. Give me some time to think and i believe i can come up with something to squeeze some more power into that crude frame. regardless we won’t be able to do anything tonight except maybe work on those wards. Rhode went back into the house and down to the armory. He placed the bow and it’s arrows on one of the long metal tables down there. “Here’s the bow.” He announced. He found a work space and pulled out the armory’s cleaning kit and started pulling Starshatter apart. |

Anthony stood up and stretched when she said they should go to the armory "Right, think I need some bullets" he said heading down there with her. He looked around at all the guns and swords that were down there. Anthony whistled at the sight the drug lord seemed to be some type of collector and he had a lot of nice looking stuff. "There's some swords over there" he pointed at a case of swords, long swords, two hangers, bastard, katanas, scimitars, rapiers. "Well this guy sure liked his swords that's for sure" Anthony said to Rin. He heard something in one of the corners and looked over Adrian, or rather Pennywise looked to be working on something. "What ya working on?" he asked him. Pennywise turned to Anthony. Pennywise: Well I managed to hold on to some of those angelic bombs the Guild were so fond of. I've taken the explosives out of those and strap them into this. Anthony walked over to the table Pennywise was at "Holy shit dude, this is enough C-4 to put a hole in the world" Anthony said looking at the bomb. Pennywise laughed. Pennywise: Yes I figured you could use it to put a hole where Baal's stronghold is. "Ooookay, so how's the defenses coming along?" he asked him Pennywise pulled his laptop over and showed Anthony Pennywise: I want to fashion some auto Turrets to put on the house. We have the necessary equipment just need to wire them up. Oh and someone has to actually put them up there. "I'm sure our robot soldier will find those things fairly light. I'll ask him when I get back up there" Anthony said turning to go get some ammo. He found a box of bullets for his gun and pulled them out. He started to concentrate putting his energy into each bullet for an extra impact against the demons. "You know Rin if that whole ward thing on the bullets work you should try putting them on your arrow heads as well." he said to her. "Or, what would happen if we put a fire ward on an incendiary grenade" Anthony said. Pennywise: That sounds awesome! The cyborg's talking to himself "No he's not, someone answering the question is who?" Anthony said. __ Drake was thrown back he hit the ground rolling and tumbling back he came to a stop pulling himself to one knee using his sword to keep himself balanced. He was breathing hard bleeding from his head. He looked up at Alastor, He's completely on guard, too fast I can't keep up, he's faster than Sareena, he has way more battle experience then me, like he can read all my moves. All of these thoughts went through Drake's mind but before he could collect them Alastor was already in his face with his sword point at Drake's throat. Alastor: You keep thinking too much, you are trying to rely too much on logic in a battle where this isn't any. Baal is a great warrior stronger than me, if you are going to let your thoughts worry you down you will not be able to fight him. He kicked Drake back, Drake fell to the back sliding back. Alastor: You are limiting your own power by over thinking things. I see that now you are not ready to be a true warrior. Right now you are over thinking everything, when you fought the guild you were nothing more than a mindless beast attacking anything in his way. You want know what makes a great warrior Drake. Thought plus reaction. You have no time to over think everything in a life or death duel, yet you can't let yourself act like an idiot swinging your sword wildly. Drake stood up looking at Alastor "So I can't have it one way or the other. What do you suggest?" He asked him putting his sword on his shoulder. Alastor laughed. Alastor: Uriel if you would "Huh?" Drake said Uriel landed in front of Drake and looked at him, she grabbed his head and her hand started to glow. Drake's eyes widened as suddenly everything went dark "I...I can't see" Drake yelled Uriel jumped away. "What the hell!?!" he screamed at them Uriel backed up to Alastor. Alastor: Its the only way, now you can't see me, you know for a fact you can't swing your sword wildly you won't even come close to hitting me, but now you can't see me to over analyze what I am doing. "Then how the shit can I fight you!?" Drake yelled at him swinging his sword around knowing he wouldn't be able to hit Alastor. Alastor: Use your other senses you moron, feel where I am... "Screw you I'm not a Jedi!" Drake screamed at him, Alastor sighed and vanished hitting Drake with his sword blood came out of Drake's chest as he fell to one knee. "Fuck you Alastor" Alastor: Well you better learn to be a Jedi really fucking quick, cause this time I'm coming for you head...brother Edited by Drake, Aug 29 2015, 10:38 PM.

Rin went looking around the swords, and looked at the displays wondering at the sames of weapons there. She grabbed two Wakizashi's that seemed to be a paired set and their sheaths fit nicely on her side able to be quickly drawn from almost where her hands naturally rested at her sides. She nodded looking at the bow Rhode had brought and tested it. It was impressive works men ship which she knew was well beyond the craftsmen back in her time. She did a bow to Rhode respectfully for the gift. "Thank you, Rhode-San," said Rin taking setting the bow back down for now. She would need to store these and depending on the mission she had two bows to pick between now. When Anthony talks about putting them on her arrows she nods. "That is a possibility, I"ll have to experiment. I'll try it for the upcoming battle and see how it turns out. On something big that we've faced it's pretty easy to hit, binding wards hit enough times could come in very handy." That's when another blade caught her attention, it was placed on display in a glass display case next to a lot of other swords in cases. This was a katana and as she approached she looked at the plaque with the name "Masamune" on the outside of it. That named sounded familiar, but she couldn't put her hand on it. opening the case and reaching in. She grabbed the sword pulling it out and it gleamed bright. It looked sharp but she decided to try it against a standing wooden post. She slashed expecting a dulled blade after ill use. Her blade went straight through the wooden frame. She blinked confused for a second. No way she miss judged the distance. Again and the blade went through the post. She turned the blade against her hand. It felt physical to her. "What the...." she said aloud and then drew the blade against her skin. It cut drawing blood, and she quickly stopped and went to wrap her hand in a bandage wrap. Something was very odd about this sword. ___________________________________________________________ Tren swam and reached the end of the pool, he had lost count of how many laps he had gone. His legs were starting to feel the straight and his breaths coming in gasps. So he floated in the pool looking up to the barrier above which made the sky seem even more blue than it normally would have. He wondered at how he had got here. Things were so much different from a month ago. He now was running with people again, which was nice and an even larger group that had their hearts and ideas in mostly the right place. People he could work with, and not have an internal conflict. He smiled a bit pulling himself to the edge of the pool letting his legs rest in the water enjoying the weightless feeling of them. Relaxed for awhile before going to find his shirt and putting it back on to hide his scars and then headed over to watch Drake and Alastor's fighting in the distance. He remained at a respectful distance and watched their training session to see if he could pick up on a few things from observation. He had hardly watched anyone fight at the level they were fighting and it could give him some insight into battles. He would work on speed next before the night was over, he had endurance down and then he would work harder later on. He didn't trust exhausting himself for tomorrow, sore muscles weren't the best to go into battle with but he had managed to loosen them up today which hopefully, would serve him tomorrow. Augmenting Drake's style might be good too, and he had yet to fully study any of his companions so now seemed like the perfect time to do so. He smirked, Drake and Alastor's fight thus far was entertaining and he found battle seemed to excited him. |

Rhode gave Rin a thumbs up and placed her cards on the table as well. He had pictures, he didn’t need the physical cards to recreate the symbol. He pulled Starshatter apart and cleaned it, something that hadn’t been done since he’d first put it together. It had gotten salt water on it, weird demon spider silk had been gooped all over it and it had been thrown into his carryall with no regard for protection. It needed a good cleaning. He cleaned it, put the parts back together again and dry fired it a few times to make sure he did it right before reloading it and holstering it. Taking it apart has given me the chance to study it again. In addition to the quality of the materials we used, i also noticed some imperfections in the metal. “Bullshit, we used a CNC Machine to cut the parts out of a solid block once we melted them down from their sources.” Even a solid ingot has minor imperfections in it. They were perfect when they were forged in the golden city, when you melted them down and recast them it acquired some mortal imperfections. “I prefer to think of them as plucky unpredictabilities rather than imperfections.” Rhode said. He went over to the long metal table and began carefully laying out all his weapons and inspecting them. Two PPk’s? Check. Sawn off shotgun in over the shoulder holster? Check. Starshatter in lower back holster? Check. Now he had to make a decision between his larger weapons. He couldn’t carry all three. He decided that since this was pretty much a suicide mission, attacking a prime surrounded by all his mooks in the middle of a war with a fallen angel and all his mooks he would go for maximum firepower. He reloaded all of the drum magazines for his AA-12 and grabbed 6 spare magazines for the AK-47 and threw them all into his carryall. He lay all the guns out and inspected them. Something was missing. He had enough firepower to hold the Alamo but like he always liked to say, demons didn’t play with the same deck of cards. Chances are he could burn through all his guns and ammo on Ba’al and the Prime wouldn’t even get a nose bleed. The only weapon he had that might pack a punch was [i}Starshatter[/i] and he only had 13 starshatter rounds for that left. He glanced over at the wall of weapons down in the armory and examined them. Looking at the swords and knives and what have you, he found one that he liked. A short gladius, almost like a large dagger or even maybe a machete. “How about this? is this Angelic or Demonic?” Neither. This is of mortal make. The craftsmanship is second to none though. Damascus steel blade, sharpened with a sharpening stone, not a grinder. Forged, not molded. Whoever made it was an expert blade maker. “Seriously? I walk up to the wall of demonic and angelic blades and i pick out the only non magic sword on the shelf?” Rhode chuckled. He strapped he blade to his boot. It was big and the hilt came up almost to his knee, but it didn’t hinder his movement at all. All in all, he was carrying a lot of weight, but he had a feeling he’d be shedding most of it throughout the fight. |

Drake stood there still unable to see he was still thinking about what Alastor had just told him. To feel not think, not see, don't react like a beast, feel. He stopped swinging his sword wildly and held on to it with both hands. Alastor looked on. Alastor: What's this? Uriel smirked crossing her arm looking at Drake she was quite excited to see what the boy would be able to do. Uriel: Think he got it? Alastor: Not a chance Alastor vanished and hit Drake again right in the face making Drake fall back "Son of a bitch!" Drake said growling, "There!" Drake said swinging his sword, Alastor no where near him. "Damn it" Drake growled swinging again not hitting anything. Alastor appeared behind Drake. Alastor: You're like an animal a chicken with its head cut off "Yeah but if you get this close I won't miss!" Drake said swinging behind him Alastor wasn't there but about 20 feet away from Drake. Drake sighed knowing he missed. "Okay..." Drake said about this situation. The door to the mansion opened and Sareena walked out with Maria, "He still haven't gotten it yet" Maria said about Drake. Sareena: The Old Man has been trying to teach him this for 15 years... "Drake! Come on, you can do it! Just like your granddad taught you!" Maria yelled, Drake looked over not seeing cause he couldn't but he knew Maria was there, Sareena too he could smell them at least. "Alright like gramps showed me" Drake said, this was the part of his training he never mastered but tonight, he would. Drake closed his eyes still dark and started to concentrate his senses, he felt something for a minute. He looked up that's when he saw it everything clear as day, he saw colors, two by the mansion green and orange. Maria and Sareena. There was a light blue one not far from them Tren. He looked in front of him seeing a golden one Uriel, he put his sword up blocking the incoming attack from behind him, the fiery red energy behind him "Alastor" Drake said turning around and swinging his sword forcing Alastor back. Alastor smirked and vanished again, Drake turned around blocking another attack. "I can...feel your attacks before you make them" Drake said to Alastor. Alastor: Now, that's more like it. Alastor smirked and vanished again, Drake stood there then swung his sword repeatedly blocking all of Alastor's incoming attacks. Alastor slid back and looked up Drake was gone. Alastor: The hell? "You should really not pay attention with your eyes" Drake said from behind Alastor his sword at his neck. Uriel laughed seeing this. Uriel: Alastor you're not going to take that are you? Alastor: Fine, sparring time is over Drake... "What?" Drake said getting blown back by Alastor's energy he slammed into the ground hard. He coughed several times while trying to stand up. "Ouch" Drake mumbled to himself. ___ Anthony finished loading up his gun and looked around for anything else he might want to use. "Well well well" He said going over to a sawed of shot gun, he picked it up and looked at it, it had very elegant carvings over it silver and gold. It almost looked like it was an angelic weapon. "Hmm wonder if it is or not" he said aiming, the sights seemed off a bit but then again if he used it he doubt he'd be aiming down sights. It seemed more like a hip fire kill the first thing in your face type of weapon. He popped it open it was a top loader "Wonder who made this thing" he said about before turning to Rin. He looked at the sword she had strangely "What ya got there?" he asked her about the sword. He noticed she cut herself with it, there was something off about that sword he could feel it, didn't know how he could but he could. Pennywise: And finished! Anthony looked back over Pennywise walked over to the ground with a case and started to hand it to Anthony. He stopped for a second then looked over at Rhode and handed him the case. Pennywise: On second thought you seem more responsible than Anthony you should hold on to this bomb. When you get to Baal's stronghold find a good place to hide, 10 minute timer on it, so when you set it, get ready to run like hell. |

There weren't many weapons that John thought would be useful to use over his current gear, save for possibly the minigun, but unless it had a partial integration with his armor, which he doubted he could do in one day, probably would be more useful as something he needed for an emergency. He looked over at Rin, who was playing around with a new sword. He shook his head some, thinking that the metal blades were old school, like most things in here. Thinking he spent enough time looking around, he made way for the stairs, and grabbing his helmet on the way out. Once again, he found an unoccupied room with a bed, and set his rifles on the bed. You really are fighting tomorrow, aren't you? Yea. These people need my help, and if we're stuck in this time, then might as well make the best of it. What... what happened to everyone else? The rest of the team? I hope they got out alive... Now, wanna help me get out of this gear? Maybe they got sent through time as well here. The releases for John's chest piece was released, allowing him to remove his front piece. His back as still connected for the power source. He quickly stripped off his external armor plates, laying them on the floor. The second layer of armor, the black part, was awkward to strip out off, but he managed to. Now down to his black bodysuit, he grabbed a piece of his left gauntlet, detaching it and strapping it back to his forearm. He also grabbed his pistol, sticking it to his leg, and his sword hilt right above it I feel so much lighter now. Do you now, someone without a body? You know it, big guy. John chuckled as he made his way outside, feeling the breeze against his body for the first time in a while. He stretched, his shoulders popping. John heard some sounds coming from around the corner, and when he went there, he saw Drake getting his ass kicked against Alastor while onlookers watched. Well, they were fighting at least. Now it seemed like it was over. Edited by Zero, Aug 31 2015, 12:10 AM.

Rin watched Adrian play with the explosives for and looked to Anthony. “Is it really wise to let him play with that much explosives?” asked Rin. She then looked down to her wound for a moment and then to the sword. “Its strange it won’t cut normal objects but it hurt me.” She emphasized her point by slashing through another nearby weapon. She wouldn’t be able to block with this thing if that were the case, though it would do wonders for people wearing armor she assumed. The Wakizashi’s would have to be her primary weapons in this case. “Strange, I feel like I should know the name Masamune but it sounds old even to me.” _______________________________________________________________ Tren hears the girls shouting and sees John come out and he heads over there direction. “Feel better already Maria? Some healing factor you got there,” said Tren as he turned back to the fight. Seems Drake was getting better and that was good. “It’s rather impressive that he doesn’t need his eyes to see.” Most higher level demons had ways to sense humans, and that’s what made them a great deal dangerous is they could anticipate moves or ambushes because they knew where you were. He assumed this was sort of like that. Alastor was impressive as well, and he wondered what it looked like when angels and demons had gone to war in the past. It might have been a sight to behold. His train of thought was broken when Alastor powered up, and it felt like someone jabbed a needle into his brain. He wasn’t expecting the sudden increase in demonic signature to rise that rapidly, and he held his hand to his head as he mentally reoriented himself. That could be dangerous in a fight, he’d have to remember that. Could he be incapacitated by a strong enough demon powering up? Maybe it was due time he learned to keep a constant barrier up or at least a minimal one. That had just hurt. “Come on King of Hell show Alastor he won’t always be the biggest bad around,” shouted Tren in the distance trying to encourage Drake as Maria had done a bit before. “I think he’s got a chance to win this bought, what about you John?” |
