The area wasn't too bad, considering it was the dark zone. The sky was tinted somewhat off from its usual blue thanks to a large barrier, to keep the pesky lesser demons out. In the center of it was a very large mansion, something probably for more than enough show for no one to look at.

A portal opened up not too far from it, spilling out Fury, Uriel, and Vlad. Vlad was still supporting Uriel, at least until they came out of the portal, then he let her go, to stand or fall as she would. He looked around, and took a deep breath in,

Ah, no stink of the city here. The barrier may cause a problem, but we can cross that stream when we come to it.

He took a look around, looking at the green grass, and then the mansion itself. It would be a pretty nice to hang out, even if it was in the dark zone. Good place for a harem, if he ever had one like the good old days. Thoughts aside, he looked over at Uriel.

Ok Uriel, we need you to start calling out to your angel friends, be it them, or the people who gave their powers away.

He walked next to fury now, bending down slightly to whisper in her ear.

Wanna take first round at her if she doesn't wanna listen and obey?[b/]

Vlad managed to retain his composure, but he could feel himself waning again. He used to much power too fast, and his body wasn't use to it. He was barely aware that Fury touched his face.

At this time, something welled up inside of Vlad... It was Zero, and Vlad simply didn't have the energy to block him out. He would need to wait for his energy to return before he could assume control again. He closed his eyes.

And when they opened, it was Zero looking out at Aklastor and Abaddon talking to each other. He continued to look around, seeing Uriel's dead body on the ground, and then Fury next to him. Vlad must have found a soft spot somewhere in his vampire, for lack of a better word, heart, for her. He wondered why, and not if it was just because she could match him in age and aging.

Fury and Alastor spoke again, and... Uriel wasn't dead? Zero let out a sigh of relief. So, angels weren't that easy to kill, even if they were mortal. He looked at his hands now, curious. He knew that Vlad, or rather his demon side, couldn't be killed, but he wondered if that came from his angel side. He still had to unlock that power. His dull red eyes looked at Alastor. He would have time to figure it out it seemed.

Next time...

He downcast his eyes, not in shame, but in thought, his brow furrowing. He observed the fight in relative third person. Vlad couldn't beat him, even with the raw power he tried to put out. Zero thought it was too unfocused. No... to win, it needed to be focused, like an arrow to the heart type focus. He shook the thought out of his mind and looked at the white haired man.

Next time may be different, friend.

Vlad slowly stood up on not-quite-steady legs. As he did so, he tapped some into both his and Vlad's power. His skin darkened to its usual tan, hair shortened some and faded to white, and his clothes changed to their usual combat garb from the somewhat flashier stuff Vlad preferred. He also made his tan cloak, it covering his mouth and half his face. Sharp red eyes looked at Alastor.

Alastor watched as Vlad got up, though he seemed different somehow. He would figure it out later he turned to Fury and helped her up on her feet. He stared at her for a moment wiping the dirt off of her face. Fury looked away.

Fury: Alastor...

Alastor: Sorry, but it has been quite a while since I last saw you. It is amazing that you still look as beautiful as I remember

Fury: Shut up and lets go to your...well Baal

Alastor laughed some going to pick up Uriel, he would have to take her to his hide out first. He turned to Not Vlad to speak to him.

Alastor: When you get there you will be treated like prisoners. I will help you as much as I can but I cannot blow my cover, even for Fury. Do not worry though with your powers and what I have planed you should be able to get out

He explained walking figuring they would be following him.

He ignored the fact that Alastor helped Fury up and wiped some dirt off of her face. He himself had no personal love for her. To him, despite the Guild being about gone now, she was just a superior.

His sharp eyes fell on Alastor as he spoke again, saying that they would be treated as prisoners, but he would help out as much as he can. What kind of bullshit act was this?

We are prisoners, so cut the bullshit act of trying to be friendly. You are neither friend nor an ally of mine.

Sharp eyes, serious look, and a locked jaw met Alastors comment about him having a plan for them to get out. When he started walking, so did Zero.

Alastor walked in his hide out and set Uriel down on the bed, he turned to Fury.

Alastor: Care to explain to your friend here exactly whats going on

Alastor went to gather somethings as Fury looked at Vlad.

Fury: Calm down, he's...on our side. He's been trying to take down Baal for a while now...I didn't think that us showing up would draw the attention of Abaddon, at least not that quickly

Alastor came back over them with chains, he started to put them on the two of them.

Alastor: Yes I had to step in, or the moron would have either killed you or alerted Baal to your presence. It is the reason I kept telling you to leave Vlad...or Not Vlad I guess. But you're other side is as stubborn as a horse. Now you are both captured and we have no way to alert Samael now do we

Fury sighed heavily

Fury: Sorry Alastor

Alastor: Even after all these years Lisa...

He laughed.

Alastor: Come on lets get this over with

Zero fallowed Alastor to wherever he had his hideout at, along with Fury. Se seemed half respectable to Uriel, setting her down on the bed, and, despite what he had seen earlier, seemed to have a decent persona about him. he wondered how much of it was fake.

Fury tried to explain that he was on their side, but their side and his side were different. He was a Guild Assassin, not some horseman like how Vlad was now. Morals and standard, however twisted they were, he still had them. He let his eyes look down on Fury, but didn't comment on what she said.

Zero looked at Alastor as he walked back, but, for now, he kept the aggression out of his eyes and face, and simply kept it neutral. When he mentioned about having no way to alert Samael, Zero let out a sigh.

I could use Vlad's power and create a familiar, and have it go through the portal to Samael. It could relay what we have to see to him, and whatever he says in return, I would know.

At saying this, from the shadows, a figure that looked like Vlad walked out, but he lack the... human quality. Or living at that. As much as he hated to help these people out, it meant survival.

Alastor looked at not Vlad when he said he could make a familiar to go talk to Samael. He looked at Fury she shrugged.

Fury: Sounds like a plan to me, do it Vlad

Alastor: That's not Vlad, you need to be more observant Fury. He doesn't carry Vlad's swagger, he doesn't talk like Vlad...more importantly, where did your demonic energy go?

Fury looked over to Vlad, or Not Vlad she didn't notice any of those things that Alastor had bought up. She wasn't paying attention had too much going on but now that she thought about it, he was acting different.

Fury: So who are you, if you're not Vlad. Are you that Zero guy?

Alastor: You can figure this out on the way, when we get to the stronghold you need to both act like demons.

When Fury said it sounded like a plan, he formed a portal, and sent the familiar though, the portal closing shortly after. He was surprised by how little energy it took to do that, but he still felt some small strain from his rather depleted resources.

Alastor gave a pretty apt description of him being different form Vlad.

Zero, yes. Vlad couldn't remain so i assumed direct control of my body. As for my energy, I can conceal it.

He closed his eyes, tapping into some energy, and released it, allowing his body to flow with he demonic pressure. For acting like a demon... he wondered how he would go about that. He had the pressure down easily. That would be enough.

Alastor looked at Zero

Alastor: Good, keep that in check, if Baal doesn't like what he sees with you my plan will not work

Fury turned to Alastor

Fury: What is the plan?

Alastor: We get this guy put in the arena. I have contacts in there, when he goes in you'll be able to start a riot. Let me worry about what happens next

Alastor looked at Fury and Zero, he nodded at them before opening a portal. He walked through it with Fury following.

On the other side there was a large stronghold with fire everywhere and dead bodies everything looked destroyed and burned out. Fury looked around

Fury: Forgot how much I hate this place

Alastor: Come on

There isn't a need to worry about me. I will do what I need to do.

He said then when Alastor told him to keep his pressure in check. When the demon told them of their plan, he looked between the two of them, then shook his head, sighing.

I think your plan works better in your head. Vlad used up most of our power in his little spree with you, with nothing to show for it.

He crossed his arms as best he could despite the chains, showing surprising flexibility. When the portal was opened, he walked through, fallowing Fury and Alastor. When they came out, he hated how everything looked. Corpses everywhere, and the placed was in utter ruins. He simply fallowed Alastor, keeping his demonic pressure constant, and a light killer instinct.

Alastor looked at Zero

Alastor: Well my original plan didn't work, who's fault is that

His way of telling Zero that Vlad had messed up his fist plan. Wasn't anything that could really be done about that now.

Alastor: You'll do fine, you're plenty strong enough to survive in the arena...just let me do all the talking

When they arrived at the stronghold Alastor walked them to the main hall. In the throne room Alastor stopped close to the door with the two behind him.

Alastor: Master, I bring you the two that infiltrated the Dark Zone...Vlad and I'm sure you remember Samael's daughter Fury

There was a loud rumble sounding as if something was growling.

Voice: I welcome your return my general, as well as the gifts you present me here
