Name: Daniel Jerro (Captain) Age: 30 Height/ Weight: 5'11" Occupation: Mercenary, Smuggler, Solider and Captain. Basic Skills: Being a soldier, electrical engineering and is a wizard with computers. Place of Residence: The Vigorous Tools of Trade: His future warrior armor, His FN F2000 rifle, The Vigorous, and his crew.  Vehicle: The Vigorous, a Zeppelin like airship   Alignment: He's loyal to the guy who pays him, which at this point is the N.E.U. Appearance:  Dan has a slight but muscular build. He has the muscles of a man who works, rather then the muscles of a body builder. When not in his armor he looks like a average guy. He has no unique features. He's the kind of guy who you'd meet and then forget a few minutes later. He usually has a smile on his face. his hair is brown as well as his eyes. Clothes: For clothing he usually wears army style BDU's. He has several sets that he's pillaged from army supply stores and surplus stores. Most of them are faded enough that the camouflage doesn't really work anymore, but he doesn't care since he never wears them into battle anyway. When expecting combat, he dons his future warrior armor. The latest and greatest of US Army R&D. It's a high tech suit that provides him with information, long range communication, ballistics and environmental protection, Chemical and biological warfare protection and it just looks wicked cool.  Personality: Dan has grown to be more trusting since the demons were defeated. His humor has come out of it's dark pit and he tells jokes with a little more humanity in them, rather then just cruel and pointed insults. He's still sarcastic as ever, but his sarcasm has less of a "i'm a jackass" feel to it. he wasn't much of a fighter before the war, but he's learned over the long years how to be a soldier, and he takes his lessons very seriously. He's vowed to himself that the demons will never catch him by surprise again. He looks for them in every shadow, and around every corner. Things like them can't be gone forever, and he'll be there when they decide to return. History: Dan was a computer science major at MIT when the Demons first arrived. He was drafted and quickly shuffled into the Armies future warrior program, which had suddenly got a huge boost in funds. He was deployed with the first unit to be issued the future warrior armor as their field repair engineer. The tests went excellently, with only a few minor glitches and some requests from the soldiers. Dan felt he had done his part for the war. Three weeks later they were deployed again with the latest version of the suits. They were overwhelmed when a Nydus worm appeared and separated them from their support. the future warriors put up a hell of a fight but they eventually all fell, except for Dan, who had run away early in the battle. not long after that, before Dan could face any punishment for deserting his comrades, the US military went into full retreat and fell back to their emergency bunkers to regroup. Dan stayed on the outside and went rogue. He joined up with the untouchables and they participated in a few major engagements in the years after the collapse. After the Demons were vanquished, the Untouchables broke up, each of them going their separate ways. Dan got down on his luck after the war. Not to many jobs for an electrical engineer or computer tech to do during the rebuilding so he got a low end job working construction. not long after the new line of airships started coming off the line and Dan got interested. He waited for a civilian version to be made, waited for them to come out on the open market, and using his future warrior armor, stole one. He spent the nest year modifying the civilian airship, putting both remote and manually operated guns on her, building onto her hull to giver her extra cargo space. adding a pair of "Sails" so she could move even when her engines weren't working. He was also forced to find a crew nearly as crazy as himself. Most of them are Ex military of on country or another. Two Navy seals, a British SAS, a dozen Navy, two Coast guard MSST's and 4 Marines make up the primary crew of the ship. all of them had seen better days when Dan picked them up. they joined because he was literally one of the only people offering them a job. Now Dan works primarily for the N.E.U. The N.E.U. military has their own airships, but because of funding they're few and far between. General Mikael Bruter pays Dan to supplement the N.E.U. air force. Thats not to say Dan doesn't take a job or two on the side. He's done some VIP transporting, a little bit of smuggling, and other small jobs. The N.E.U. overlooks his minor infractions for now, because they need Dan's ship to help fill the hole in their fleet. Edited by MikDaTv, Apr 22 2008, 01:29 AM.
