As all of you may know, the last report made to the Federation Council this year concerning Nidenruse's falling production stunned Council members by hearing that Nidenruse's GNP has dropped steeply from last year. Most of this has been attributed to last months Venian Manufacturing Plant Disaster, where more than six-hundred people perished in a freak explosion. The Venian Plant was considered one of Nidenruse's largest production centers. To make matters worse, the controlling company was forced to close down large numbers of other plants and factories all across Nidenruse, causing prices on goods to soar nearly overnight.
Minister Pudon has announced today that debating and voting for his new "Aggresive Production Plan" has finished and the series of laws and bills and programs for it has been passed through on a vote of 31 to 12. The Aggresive Production Plan's (APP) first step is to reinvigorate Nidenruse's economy by finding new foreign buyers, especially with the war between Aksoem and Eyygui saying: "...with the war going badly for Aksoem, I am almost certain that he would be interested in buying some military equipment from us, and as for Eyygui, well, you can never be too sure of victory...

Representatives from the Lateral Republic would like to meet with any delegate from Nidenruse to discuss the buying of arms and ammunition. The Lateral Republic would not want these goods to fall into the wrong hands.

On behalf of the Triple Alliance, several large Eyyguian arms contractors will be sent to Nidenruse to discuss the expansion of their arms market. While Eyyguian arms factories are more than adequatly suppling our soldiers, we would like to secure that the enemy is not being supplied.

Minister Pudon's Private Estate
The night was clear, and Pudon could see the lights of the city, his city, below flicker on and off htorugh his study's window. "Sir, the first part of your plan is in progress as I speak," said Pudon's assistant as he silently stepped into the study.

"Good, I had better send someone to meet with our new buyers," replied Pudon without looking away from the room's window. "... And do the other council members suspect anything yet?"

"I do not think so, at least they have shwon no sign of anything yet."

"Good, give word to soon begin on the second phase," Pudon quietly replied as he still looked out the window, wondering when it was that he had become an insomniac.

Several men arrived, each representing one of the five large Eyyguian arms manufacturers. Almost at the same time they got off their private jets in their black suits and gelled hair. At the runway they awaited for further directions from Nidenruse.

Two men arrived, apparently from Abascal Arms, Inc. The taller, more handsome one, Anibal, was dedicated to inherit the company started by his father. If this deal went well, he would get promoted and surely inherit the Lateralian monopoly after his father's failing battle with cancer.

The other, tall as well, but whiter than a ghost, seemed to be the opposite of Abascal. Alejandro Lopez, who had come from Golencia 5 years ago, was forced into the arms industry by his father, a war veteran. He was never a worker, spending his days drinking, smoking, and working out. He definately did not want to be there; he'd rather be at a binging party.

Abascal and Lopez stepped off the sleek, black jet, engraved with the words "Abascal Arms, Inc." in a gold leaf design. It gleamed in the morning sun. The Eyyguians had arrived earlier, and Abascal set off to greet them.

"Good morning gentleman. I am glad to see we have teamed up to keep Aksoem's waning resources at bay. My name is Anibal Abascal, and this is my associate, Alejandro Lopez."

"Hello brothers, I am Edward Rivers" the Eyyguian said. He was the head of Sun Military Equipment Inc., the largest arms corporation in Eyygui. His parents were part of a small, yet insanly rich western immigrant family. They had arrived in Eyygui about 75 years ago, when small oil wells were found. Later when it was discovered that there was not enough oil to export, the family became involved in military equipment. He was rich and powerful, very arrogant and proud, yet he had the inate ability to be political. He greeted the men with a smile and a hand-shake, even though they were competing for this nation's arms market.

"I hope they come quickly, we have much to discuss" he said looking towards the sun, with his magnificent jet behind him. Behind him was a woman, dressed in a sharp suit. Aishwara Mahcula, was also part of Sun Military Equipment Inc. and was here, along with Rivers, to represent the corporation.

An airport taxi arrives a few moments later, and a middle hieght, middle aged man exits the vehicle. He seemed rather unassuming, unless you counted the pristine "Hero of the Federation" medal-the highest military honor-on his jacket. "I'm glad to see you have all made it," he said walking up.
"William Hitchon at your service, President and founder of Venian Arms Manufacturing. Now, I've had a meeting room prepared at the corporate offices here," motioning towards the vehicle. "I'm sure we can all get acquainted on the ride over."

Abascal introduced himself happily and professionaly. Lopez shook Hitchon's hand in a wishy-washy way, only to sniff his nose sickly. He really did not want to be here. Abascal saw him above Hitchon's shoulder and gave him a scornful look. He would not allow this drunken prick to ruin his inheritance.

The two entered the car, as did Hitchon and the Eyyguians. They left to the executive offices.

"An airport taxi? My word Venian Arms Manufacturing should not be doing so well if they can not afford more business-like transportation" Rivers thought this, knowing that he could not say it aloud or he would of offended his hosts. He introduced himself to them amicably, as did his associate. They crammed up into the taxi, hoping that this would be a short trip.

Hitchon stepped out of the taxi, did a short stretch, and walked up to the doors the large glass and steel skyscraper. He found a private executive elevator to the room near the top of the building giving a nice view of the surrounding city. Hitchon was very fond of this room and stared out the window as he sat down at the head of a long table. He motioned for his guests to sit down on the other end and he began, "I am happy too see that you all have come here. Now, I think it appropriate to talk of what you both wish to acquire from us, the price of these items, and then some of the logistics."

Abascal began, ignoring the lazy stupor his colleague emitted. Charismatic and outgoing, his voice swallowed the room. "Well," he began to Hitchon, "as you may know, the nations of Eyygui and the Lateral Republic have been involved in this merciless war. As the war continues, resources tend to slow to a trickle, and our nations need a little extra push. That is not to say the war is turning for the worse. Our nations are handling the Aksoemites very well. It is just a matter of keeping our enemy's contacts and resources at bay and at a minimum. The Lateral Republic, specifically the Abascal Arms, Inc. Company, is willing to forge a tremendous deal that should spike both our nation's economies, as well as drown Aksoem's economy."

"Sun Military Equipment Inc. is also interested for the same reason that Mr. Abascal is. We wish to sqeeze Akseom's veins out and then trample them over."

" I would be glad simply to get Nidenruse back on its feet after this recent... recession. I can assure that Venian Arms will fulfill any military contract you give to us," said Hitchon, now paging through some a folder of papers. "I can reassure this since we have been granted a substantial subsidary for gathering foreign contracts. Hopefully, with our help you will be able to accomplish what you wish."

Rivers looked somewhat dissapointed at the comment, he had hope for a 100% assurance that Akseom would not recieve any more arms. "I have a better, stronger proposition for you" he said, in an almost sinister tone "You see, there is not possible way for us to be completly assured that no arms will be sent to Akseom. Therefore, I was given special orders by the government, to offer a special proposition to you." He paused for a second, it seemed he was thinking of what to say next.

"I offer to purchase a majority stake in all of Nidenruse's Military Equipment Corporations. Not only would this more than double their stock price, but it would also cut their costs. The companies would be somewhat autonomous, but would work for a common goal, each specialized to produce their specialty. Costs would be cut and revenues would increase as your nation's companies would be first on the line for any arms the Triple Alliance might need. Furthermore this would eliminate the need for your government to subsidize the beaten industry, but still be able to tax them. Your nation would enter into an economic boom never seen before in your history."
