Sendria

Government officials in Sendria's capital of Solombo had phones on the line with Sendria's ambassador to Aksoem within half-an-hour of the Aksoemite plane sighting. After a short briefing over the phone from General Ajatogo, Ambassador Nnamdi Desmugo called in to set up an urgent meeting with President Grunveld. The meeting would be held at the Success Towers in Katlego.

Two short hours later both men took seats within a rather small conference room, Ambassador Desmugo with his assistant seated behind him.

"Greetings, President Grunveld. I would not like to waste too much of your time, but this is an urgent matter," Desmugo started. "The Terlaka Gabez clearing is a matter we can get to a little later. A folder was pulled out of a black, leather briefcase. It was opened and several papers were pulled out, immediately examined. "According to the Sendrian military, an Aksoemite military plane was spotted by border patrols entering Sendria. An attempt at contacting the plane by radio was made, in that message a warning to identify itself or be shot down. The plane immediately turned around and returned to Aksoem."

The papers where pushed aside and Desmugo put his hands together to make one large fist resting on the table. "My country's government called me to set up this meeting. We would like to know the intentions of Aksoem, for my country has not provoked anything that requires violent action. Currently we are trying to get to a economic golden age and are focusing less on whats going on around us and more on the internals of Sendria."

Kagiso examined the sheets of paper, "I can't deny, we did have a recon squadron in the area at the time." He looked over at the Sendrian with almost a look of contempt, "Perhaps you can assist us, several of our citizens were gunned down, we know Eyygui to be certainly involved in this butchers action, but the tracks lead through Sendria, leading us to suspect that uncontrolled elements of Sendria were involved in the attack." He felt almost sirt as the next few words left his mouth, "Would you allow Aksoemite investigators to peacefully enter your country?" He imagined Aksoemite soldiers in the area not occupying the nation, it disgusted him.

The Ambassador pulled out another piece of paper that was given to him by the Sendrian government that stated what he could and could not grant. "We will grant you the investigation for we have nothing to hide. We will give you a full month to investigate, starting tommorrow. After a month, a copy of the report must be given to my country. Do you accept these terms?"

Kagiso considered it, he considered the feelings of pride he would get from stomping Sendria into the ground, but logic overpowered his preference, Eyygui would likely take at least a month to begin an invasion for, and twice as long if Aksoem were at war with Sendria aswell, this gave him ample time to prepare the invasion of Sendria whilst also whittling down Eyygui, "I agree to these terms, I hope we can look forwards to a future of such easy co-operation." He put on a fake smile and leant forwards for a handshake.

Ambassador Desmungo shook the President's hand before gathering his files back into his briefcase. "Hopefully you find the perpetrators of the attack. If it is found that some rogue unit in our military committed the attacks, I promise that President Ajatogo will hunt them down and hand them over. Sendria is sorry for your loss." The smile was returned. These attacks happened around the same time period the President was invited to the Triple Alliance meeting. Desmungo was glad General Ajatogo had opted not to join the alliance. If the attacks were committed by Eyygui in an attempt to frame Sendria, the General just saved his people a great deal of pain from being dragged into an alliance of deceit.
