It would be a while before the second wave of Akseom's counter-offensive would arrive. It would be an amazing accomplishment for an underdeveloped nation to mobilize 600,000 of its finest soldiers, tanks and fighters instantly. For the time being, the Eyyguians moved all fronts forward as much as they could as soon as the Tetwane counter-offensive had failed. All the soldiers just laughed at the sight of their enemy retreating in fear. The aerial bombing was an incredible contributor to this and it would be used more and more. Already the Zanlu and Yemen rivers were starting to turn a sickly shade. All down-stream as far as the eye could see the river was either red or brown, with the occasional hand poping out. The Eyyguian Generals had called upon the moiblization of all reserves. All additional 400,000 troops and tanks were called upon. They would be a while before they started to reach the front lines, but they hoped it would be enough. The airforce took advantage of their air-superiority to continue to pursue bombing campaigns. F-22s and Eurofighters danced in the air with the enemy Mig 29s. It seemed as a more even match. Still the F-22s dominated the skys, faster and heavier armed then the enemy planes. The weaker and older BAE Harriers however, fared much worse. The Mig 29s pounced on them easily, destroying many in mid air. While enemy fighters were kept busy with allied fighters, allied bombers dropped whatever payload they could on the advancing enemy armor divisions. It seemed as though the Tet Offensive was a complete success, rescued at the last minute from impending doom. The first battle of Yemen, Zanlu and Denali were won by Eyygui. (OOC Considering that my people were far better equipped and supplied, plus they had a steady water supply lol, I would hope you dont mind if I have far less casualites than you do. Post your total Tetwane Casualties in your next post please.) Tet Offensive Total Casualites: 14,580 Infantry 39 Challenger 2 Tanks 56 Scitimar Tanks 23 Spartan Tanks 14 Sabre Tanks 23 Fighter Planes (F-22s, BAE Harriers, Eurofighters) 12 B-52 Bombers |

(OOC: Right, let's get this back on track, cos I was having fun in Yemen) Alaba Offensive Terlaka Gabez T-72's rolled over the arid lands of the Semudra-dor, the vast desert stretching over Akseom, as with the Zanlu, upriver, the majority of fighting was taken in the skies, the Eyyguians neglecting to fill their advancement with any ground vehicles, fully escorted with Air wings, the Aksoem Tanks moved quickly into penetrating the Eyyguian border, performing a more mobile variation on the phalanx manuveur, rolling in to attack, then hunkering down to defend, whilst the momentum was kept by the second line who repeated the first, ensuring the Eyyguians never had rest from the barrage, a Regiment of Riflemen had been deployed here to bounce up the numbers a little. In the air, the Migs were having a better time than in the first engagement, the 29 model being slightly more advanced than the decaying 23's, they were better able to keep up with the enemy fighter, and had more success in taking them down, that wasn't to say that the attack was without difficulty, the F22's were still a better model than the Mig, but with legion on their side, the Aksoemites would surely win this offensive. Alaba Offensive Kogosi The flanking bulge, located the other side of the Zanlu river, the deployment of Armour was performing a neat symmetry with their brothers, exacting a merciless revenge on their enemy, many had come from the same homes as those lost in Yemen, and perhaps the most furious fighting was performed here, eager to eak their vendetta from the Eyyguian intruders. Taking on the central line of the Eyyguians was a sizeable Artillery Regiment, pounding the enemy garrison into dust, ready for the sweeping advance of the Western Armour Divisions, an Infantry Division had been routed to ensure safety against a Eyyguian troop surge, and as across the front, the Armour was protected by the Migs, perhaps moreso over the Artillery which had been a common target of the Tetwane Offensive. Alaba Offensive Nkruma Escorted by newly ordered T-90's, the Nkruma T-72 Divisions were siezing the flat, level land of the Yemen, preceeded by a mass line of fire from the Aksoem Artillery, the offensive was to take back the land the Eyyguians had stolen, Kibwe considered this a must, deluded by feelings of patriotism, but in no way affected into incompetence. Alaba Offensive Denali Were the highest concentration of soldiers had been deployed, the operation seemed more based on sprining the enemy and then occupying what land they had fled from, the Air Assault Divisions taking up the forefront of the engagement, pouncing in on Mil Mi-24's and razing whatever military resistence they encountered, before leaping onto the next goal, and watching the T-72's move in, if need be, to support the next leap upwards. Tetwane Counter Offensive Casualties 21,500 Infantry Confirmed Dead 91,600 Infantry Grieviously Injured 57,900 Infantry Missing in Action 121 T-54 Tanks either Destroyed or Inoperable 14 T-72 Tanks either Destroyed or Inoperable 150 SAM pieces destroyed 97 Artillery Pieces Destroyed 4 Mil Mi 24 Helicopters Destroyed 191 Mig 23's either Destroyed or Inoperable |

Terlaka Gabez A wave of enemy tanks was met with a small wave of allied Challengers and soldiers armed with anti-tank weaponry. While the Challengers and infantry kept the advancing enemy somewhat preoccupied, artillery rained on them from the Eyyguian artillery garrison. Additionally while the F-22s kept dancing with the Mig 29s, the Eurofighters and B-52 bombers began targeting the advancing wave of enemy ground forces. SAMs also assisted in keeping the enemy from the sky, shooting missles at the enemy Migs. The Eyyguain advance had been halted, but morale was on their side. Kogosi Fighting was fierce here. Enemy troops came clashing with the fastest advancing Eyyguian soldiers. A storm erupted, the two winds came crashing together. Eyyguian Challengers shattered the advancing enemy infantry. Other Eyyguian fighterplanes entered the battle and began to combat the Migs who were protecting the enemy lines. While bombers flew in from the skies and dropped their payload. SAMs on this front were also used to their highest potential. Nkruma The pridelands of the war. Skeletons piled upon each other and were burned because it was impossible to carry away the dead. The Akseomites launched a ferocious armor offensive on this front. Many Challengers had been diverted to the other fronts, leaving this one vulnerable. Eyyguian anti-tank squads were in short supply. Mines were cleverly placed on the floor in front of the advancing enemies, they hoped that the mines would take some time to clear, buying the troops more time to recieve reinforcements. Denali Advancing Mil Mi's were powerful and tore apart many ground garrisons. However as Eyyguian Eurofighters returned to the battle, they were the main target. One after they other Eurofighters dropped down to helicopter range, firing upon the enemy. Eyyguian SAM sites shot upward and destroyed any that got too far past the front lines. They enemy had neglected to send any true fighter pilots to this front and bombers took advantage, freely dropping payloads of bombs upon the enemy. Home Front Massive propaganda campaigns were launched, depicting Akseomites as vile barbarians who would destroy the nation if they entered it. Women were encouraged to leap out of their traditional roles and head to farms and take over their husband's businesses. Many furniture, automobile and commercial airline factories had been converted to their military counter-parts. Thousands of bombs, guns and bullets were produced every single day as well as uniforms for the soldiers, tanks, and fighter/bomber planes. It seemed as though there were no homeless people on the streets. No beggars asking for money. There seemed to be jobs for everyone in the nation as it geared closer and closer towards total war. The Sun King had made an astonishing 70 speeches in a month, while the Governers of each province made countless more. It seemed as though the public supported this war. A poll taken stated that 92% were in favor of the war, with 2% abstaining and 6% against it. A margin of error of 5%-6% is expected. |

OOC Baron’s Alliance gave me the go-ahead to RP his forces until they formed the beachhead. He will provide the specific numbers to his forces. I honestly think I could’ve done better with this post, but it should be enough to test the waters. If there’s anything wrong with it, either just post it in “State of the RP’s” or just PM me. Thanks. FYI, AAC is aircraft carrier, and AAV is amphibious assault vehicle. IC The time had come. A time of new highs and a time of new lows. A time for defeat and a time for victory. Through the moonlight came the ghostly fleet of the Lateral Sea Corps: 3 Saar 4.5 Classes and 5 Saar 5 Classes. Both the CWS and the Vikrant ACC's wandered alongside the missile ships, each carrying 20-30 Skyhawks, F-15's, and F-16's. Behind them, numerous amphibious vehicles rocked in the wake; a total of 5,500 soldiers were listening to their officers' plans. Off to the distance, some 5 clicks away, was the Alliance's fleet, ready to disembark their load on the dumpsite that was Aksoem. The two nation's fleets would attack at the same time, on different parts of the shore. "Are we ready captain?" asked an officer. "Yes, we are within range. Fire!" The shot seemed to be heard around the world, but the Eyyguians and northern Aksoemites could not; their ears were deafened by their own clicks and booms. The shot was fired from a Saar 5 Class, luminating the sky, towards the beach, to what may have been a beachside town or a militia station. With the shell fired, plane after plane took off from the two ACC’s. Each ACC had the following: 10 Skyhawks, 10 F-15’s, 5 F16I’s, and 5 F-16’s. Their mission was simple: locate and destroy enemy bases. While the beach was mainly clean, militia camps were known to be within a few thousand feet from the camp. Bombs and rockets rained down onto Aksoem’s coastal towns and suspected militia camps. Back on ground, AAV’s reached land, covered by the constant shelling from the Saars. They had to fortify the beach area at all costs. Teams of soldiers scanned the beach and the nearest towns to seek out enemies. No one could be trusted. In this part of Aksoem, diamonds were life, and any intrusion into its life would mean death. Meanwhile, the Baron’s Alliance had maintained its posture. Following a similar strategy as the Republic’s fleet, the coastal and meditteranean coastline was bombarded with fighter jets launching from the Alliance’s three AAC’s. Cruisers and destroyers lit up the night sky with a furious barrage of shells, aimed at enemy defensive positions. With the cover from the shelling, hordes of soldiers stormed the beach, their spirit impenetrable as they raced to form the beachhead. Alaba Offensive Terlaka Gabez There was a problem, the enemy movement was only being slowed, almost halted, but its stain on Aksoem soil was not being removed, quickly the enemy had filled in their lines with their own Tanks, a situation similar to the Yemen was reoccurring, and in order to prevent another loss, the Aksoemites would need to resort to the desperate measures of their enemy when they closed the last offensive, hopefully the Kogosi flanking offensive would serve to crush the despicable Eyyguians, but in case the fighting broke out of the Terlaka, a wing of TU-95's had been ordered to deploy behind Aksoem lines, and await further orders. Alaba Offensive Kogosi The Aksoem fighter escorts hanging over the Kogosi deployment were expecting the meek arrival of Eyyguian bombers, a shallow tactic used in the first offensive, that may later come to bite them in the arse, the lack of air support capabilities on the enemy bombers made them easy targets, and the relayance of position regarding enemy SAM positions made the targets for Artillery bombardment all the more easy, a fresh wave of Aksoem rats were being sent out to locate enemy SAM's who may be hiding or moving position, equipped this time with a small amount of plastic explosive, this secret assault would be far more deadly than the last. Alaba Offensive Nkruma The enemies retreat was viewed with uncertainty, so much could be lying in wait, an ambush, or possibly landmines, so advancing through the terrain was done with great caution, rats (OOC: The smelly rodent, not the young teens) were brought to the line to detect any landmines lying in wait, and movement was carefully plotted to avoid any flanking manuevers by hidden enemy forces, whilst landmines were detected, it didn't do anything to speed up the lines movement, the landmines still had to be deactivated and consideration still had to be put forwards to any enemy units that may be lying in wait. Alaba Offensive Denali Neglecting to realise the deployment of Mig 23's and 29's to the entire front, the enemy had taken to sinking their advanced warfighters lower to combat the Helicopters, allowing the less advanced and cheaper Mikoyans to pounce on top of them and bring them down, it was as if the Eyyguians no longer cared for the consideration of their own war machines, obviously they could have seen the Migs, considered their deployment, but they had done nothing to prevent this action, no matter the losses the Aksoemites would incurr in Mil Mi's, the Eyygiuans would likely lose twice as much in confidence and war materials. Bahr-Dard Defensive The exact location of a Baronic or Lateral attack was unknown, but Kibwe had been confident of a Baronic attack in the West, and a Lateral attack in the East, to divide attention, whatever reserves which had been deployed in the Denali region would need to be diverted to the Bahr-Dard Northern Region, whilst the southern region would have to be controlled by the easily swayed but bloodthirsty warlords of Southern Aksoem, orders had been given to deny the enemy a beach-head, and both arenas had their ways of acheiving that goal. Norlin (Northern) Bahr-Dard Using the rocky terrain closer to the beach, and being fed introveniously via caves, several teams of crack beach specialists were taking up hiding positions, supplying and hunkering down for their defence of the Beach, let the enemy come, let them waste their precious missiles and shells furhter inland, let them eye us with superiority and arrogance, blinding themselves to the issue they're walking into. Soothren (Southern) Bahr-Dard Sparsely dotted around the region, far out of enemy sight, hidden within civilian populations and under deep foxholes, were the assorted militias and warbands of Southern Aksoem, they had nothing to do until the Beach-head was launched, an attempt had been made to fill the beach with barbed wire and tank traps, but lacking the rocky terrain of further north, they had nowhere to hide, and would have to wait until the enemy landed before they launched a guerilla attack on their position. |

Terlaka Gabez Eyyguian planes were able to spot the enemy's manuvering and quickly went to where they were. Some of Akseom's flanking movements on this front were completly destroyed. Eyyguians were desperatly trying to get air-superiority here, but the Mig 29s kept dogging the whole airforce. F-22s were working as hard as they could, but they were spread thin across all the fronts. Therefore the force was largely dominated by Panavia Tornados and Eurofighters. While the bombers attempted to bomb the enemy from the sky, trying to avoid enemy fighters occupied in the dog fight, allied troops attempted to progress further, guarded by Artillery and SAMs. A fresh round of reinforcements bolstered confidence, additionally news that the Lateral Republic and the Barons Alliance had arrived at the southern shores boosted morale even higher. However as the enemy launched flanking manuvers, the advance was beginning to take severe hits. Enemy units came towards Eyyguians on the edges and now had to fight enemy on both fronts. Bombers were used to their full capability and directed away from the main force and towards the flanking attackers. Kogosi The bomber-fighter divisions encountered numerous enemy fighters. However the faster and better F-22s were able to quickly engage the enemy fighters in combat. Bombers pounded enemy forces beneath them. While the fighters engaged the enemy, SAM sites were left vulnerable from the sky. Luckily Akseom was busy with Eyyguian fighters as well and would hopefully not take the gamble and risk losing control of the air to take down SAMs. Nkruma Finally a small group of bombers and fighters arrived at the front. They quickly arrived at the front and pounded enemy forces. Eyyguians on this front recieved the most reinforcements than any other front, mostly anti-tank regiments. The retreat that lasted only a couple of miles came to a screeching halt. The Generals made encouraging speeches to the soldiers and began to rally them up for any enemy attack that may come. The landmines had done their job of slowing the enemy down. Denali The Allied Fighters recieved a large attack from enemy fighters, who used underhanded tactics to try and win the war. As soon as enemy fighters began arriving at the front, Eyyguian F-22s and others were pulled off the Mil Mi's and onto the fighters. Eyyguian SAM sites were able to shoot down advancing Mil Mi's, while the others focused on enemy fighters. However splitting the SAMs was not a good idea. Some Mil Mi's were able to knock down overwhelmed SAM sites. Ground troops had to resort to launching RPGs towards the sky, hopefully their aim proving strong enough to take down the enemy Mil Mis. Additional reinforcements arrived, many carrying anti-copter weapons. It seemed as the battle was not over and Akseom was just launching a final desperate attempt to survive. (OOC: May I once again assert the assumption of idiocy, no, I'm not using real Rats in the Kogosi, in the Nkruma yes, which is why I specified as such, in the Kogosi I'm using the teenaged soldiers which you yourself nicknamed the Rats, which made it confusing for when I was using actual rats, to detect the landmines, second off, you never stated whether you had moved the SAM's or not, I assumed you had, else they'd be defending a position that your forces had already over-ran, now to highlight the problems with each of your theatre approaches, cos I'm now in no mood to let it slide, in the Terlaka, you assume i've not had fighters attacking your Air units, when infact "In the air, the Migs were having a better time than in the first engagement, the 29 model being slightly more advanced than the decaying 23's, they were better able to keep up with the enemy fighter, and had more success in taking them down" Are you now making the assumption that my fighter units have suddenly vanished? Is this going to be another one of those, "Just becausde it says Aircraft Carrier, doesn't mean it's carrying any Aircraft!" things? Cos I have no reason to carry on if you're just gonna stop this war with your endless moping. The Kogosi, instead of the expected results of "The Fighter bombers, lacking in air combat abilities, were easily hunted down like dogs" or "The SAM positions, their location revealed, were now under the pinning fire of the Aksoem artillery!" You just say, "Hey folks, everything's fine, we're moving up with absolutely no problems!" The Nkruma, I actually don't have a problem with this front, it's a common military practice to retreat and regroup, then attack, I only regret I wasn't able to better chase down your forces and murder them all, wearing their finger bones as a necklace. The Denali, Underhanded tactic? Yeah, cos this is so much more underhanded than carpet bombing an entire front into oblivion just because you can't handle losing, at least if I pulled off a tactic like that, I'd have the balls to RP the after effects, like the millions of dollars you just wasted on bombs, Eyyguian SAM's were easily able to pick off my Mil Mi's? If like you said the SAM's had not changed position, it'd be me who'd easily be able to pick off your SAM's, they're not moving, I am, they can't Surface, unload a crack squad of soldiers, I can, they can't wait behind the brushes, completely hidden, and launch a violent wave of missiles, I can. Your entire post is just you saying, "I'm winning, you're losing." With no actual evidence that you are winning, or infact that I'm losing, maybe if I calm down I'll make a post, just nuking you into oblivion, but until then I'm too fucking pissed off to see straight, apologies for any typos as a result.) |

(OOC If you are pissed off, I suggest you shut off your computer and wait till you are more calm, because seriously you are overreacting to a simple mistake. I apologize for the Terlaka, I hadnt seen that you had fighters there, I will rewrite my post because I was going with the post you had made before mine, not the one way before mine. Kogosi, im not sure what you are saying, I have fighters and bombers there.... not just fighter-bombers. The closest thing to a fighter bomber that I have is a Eurofighter, and I wouldnt go as far as to call it a bomber. You should read my factbook, I have the courtesy of putting up numbers so you dont have to fight an enemy with infinite numbers. Nkruma, if you didnt have a problem with this front then dont post anything, makes it easier so that I dont have to read angry rants against me. Um... Spoot, I dont know if you realize it but we are in the Modern Era.... attacks from the sky dominate. Again I remind you not to go onto personal attacks. "at least if I pulled off a tactic like that, I'd have the balls to RP the after effects"??? Are you serious? 1) I poisoned one of your freaking rivers 2) I completly shut off the other 3) your whole first defense has been destroyed. Yet you have not said anything about what your people are going through.... I occasionally say whats going on at home. Um...Kogosi is a stalemate, thats why my SAMs havnt moved, they are moving with the advancing troops in Denali so again dont know what you are saying. Now im going to edit my post to correct my mistake, if you are pissed I do not mind fighting on AIM or via PM, but I do mind doing it here, so PM me, if not edit your previous post as soon as I change mine, and then I will respond on this one.) |

Lateral Offensive Lateral fighters and bombers have halted their roaring thunder for now, allowing for any evidence of enemy casualties. Reinforcements are being sent to the Lateral beachhead, another 15,000 expected. With the area secured, the Lateralian forces set up camp at the beachhead. Beyond the beach was a zone of evergreen forests, creeping with unknown dangers. 2500 soldiers set out into the wilderness, heading towards the next city. The mediterranean forests were misty, and the clouds above signaled rain, typical during Aksoem's winters. The Lateral soldiers shook off the cold, a rough 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They could not lose their composure, or their focus. They knew Aksoem's main forces were busy with Eyyguian and Sith Republican forces, so the targeted enemies were fruit farmers, savage natives, and rouge reserve forces. Rain began to fall in drenching quantities. It gave an eerie sountrack to the ordeal. Paranoia was beginning to settle in. Reports over radio detailed small skirmishes with scattered Aksoemite forces. Such combats were expected. Small steps were necessary to bring down Aksoem. Inch by inch... Alaba Offensive Terlaka Gabez At least the Aksoemites were forcing the Eyyguian dogs into a stalemate, no matter how small it was, this tiny advantage would have to be pressed, another division of Mig 29's were ordered to the front, both to reinforce the damaged line and expose the enemies lack of total Air Superiority, besides, the more fighters Aksoem had in the Eyyguians way, the less likely they were to pull their cowardly tactic of bombing everything in sight. With a fresh line of Fighters on their way, the Mig 29's were ordered to pull their enemy as far from the dogfight as they could, primarily in a divide and conquer tactic, but also to protect the flanking ground forces, which were in a crucial position, cries from the Officers on the ground came, repeating lines of the Eyyguians wish to kill every Aksoemite man and woman, evidenced by their cowardly tactics of cutting Aksoems rivers, and carpet bombing its frontier towns and farms, it may have been based purely on a contempt for the Eyyguians, but there it was, Aksoemite morale. Alaba Offensive Kogosi The exposed enemy SAMs were a fresh source of Rat targets, it may not have been the Air attacks expected, but it may pull off some of the Eyyguian Fighters and Bombers, sneaking in through the rocky and cratered terrain, the Rats were able to locate the SAM positions and through some dagerous feats of stealth attach their small explosives to the devices, of course, this tended to be their last acts. Rolling in through the sparsely defended territory, heading North-West, was the Aksoem Armoured unit, there to defend their comrades in the Terlaka, another unit of Armour was called in to fill their place, a small, cheap unit, but given their successes on the Yemen, these small units were yet to be decomissioned, this hunge Flank would no doubt push the Eyyguians off their delicate balance. Alaba Offensive Nkruma The Aksoemites had hoped to gain enough ground and momentum to sieze this territory, but alas, the mines had slowed them down too much, fortunantly, this had left a large bridge between the two lines, and opened up the opportunity for a massive artillery bombardment, the Aksoemites used this time to prepare their cover, call up infantrymen and lay ambushes for the Eyyguian lines, a fresh unit of Fighters were sent to this line, in case the enmy had bolstered their own fighter and bomber units. Alaba Offensive Denali The Mil Mi's fell back, their destruction complete, having dropped as many elite units as possible, they would now sit back from the front and await pickup, the bonus of having picked off enemy SAM's was still ringing in their ears, Infantrymen began their own slow advance, to secure territory opened up by the Air Assault teams. This war was far from over, Aksoem was just opening the taps on their enemy. Edited by Aksoem, 15th August 2008 - 05:10 PM.

Terlaka Gabez Eyyguian fighters were experienced in the art of air-battle. They would not follow the enemies cheap tactics. As soon as the Migs began to pull back, the plethora of Eyyguian fighters tried to shoot them down, before they went too deep into enemy lines. They thought it would be suicide, fighting the enemy up in the sky, having to worry about SAM sites down below. They would be pincered, luckily the Airforce Commanders were not as gluttenous as the army commanders. The battle here was turning into a stand-still. The ground was tough enough to hold some sort of rough trench system and Army engineers began to erect them. The advance had been completly halted and defensive tactics were to be used. The success of Akseom's flanking attempts proved to the Generals that this war was far from over. Their hope was to outlive the enemy. Kogosi At first, the Eyyguians guarding the SAMs seemed reluctant to shoot the little boys approaching. They looked dirty and starved, thinking they were refugees running away from the impending advance, they were allowed to pass. However when they strapped themselves to the SAMs and blew themselves up, the soldiers became terrified. How can the enemy resort to such drastic attempts to survive? They were given orders to shoot anyone that they saw approaching from the front lines. Eyyguian artillery began to get into a position where they were able to bombard enemy forces. This allowed the Eyyguians to continue their slow but painful advance on this front. Nkruma Ground forces had remained still, avoiding the enemy artillery shells if possible. Yet they were still being rained upon. While the shells were not as accurante as other, more modern artillery, they still rained with deadly force upon the Eyyguians. Eyyguian artillery began a ferocious counter-attack. Having less range than the enemy artillery, yet much more accuracy and force, Eyyguian artillery began to focus soley on the enemies artillery, hopefully they would be knocked down in their attempt to disorganize Eyyguian forces. Denali The river that began the war was parched. It was not grand as it was before the dam was built, it was now a rocky dry canal. Many SAMs were destroyed by the Mil Mi attacks, but it was not in vain. Helecoptor skeletons lie in the advancing field, burning brilliantly. Many had their pilots still strapped to the chair, already dead from burns and the crash. Eyyguian and Akseomite infantrymen met and clashed, both trying to advance upon the other. Challenger tanks, again beginning to return to prominence in the battle began to shoot their powerful barrage of guns deep into enemy lines. A complete charge was ordered and the Eyyguians were bolstered by the 200,000 men still here from the Sith Republic. This would be the charge that would break Akseom's will. While the Eyyguians would pay it with many lives, Akseom would hopefully be severly crippled. Edited by Eyygui, 13th September 2008 - 08:55 AM.

(OOC: Kogosi: I didn't think i'd need to specify, the Rats are not there for suicide bombing runs, they're there to attach explosives to enemy SAM sites and then see if they can make it out alive, Nkruma: Again, I didn't feel I'd need to specify, but the Artillery is targeting your huddled mass of soldiers, not the gap imbetween, I was kinda hoping we'd not have a return of Captain Absolute Specification) Alaba Offensive Terlaka Gabez With fresh Migs tipping the balance of the fight over the cursed earth, and the enemy ground forces hunkering down for defensive rest, pulling away from proximity to the Aksoem Armour, the all was given, and the called up Tu-95 Bombers were brought into the azure skies, accompanied by a fresh wave of Migs, they would clear out the beleagured enemy, causing the hopeful toppling of the Eyyguian morale, afterall, what mad bugger would die to appease an imperial goal? Tupolevs darkened the skies, blocking the sun from view, it would be a fearful godly sight for those below, and in justification for the accusations of deitism, the bombers unleashed their destructive payload, smothering the rough ground below with fire, enough to melt the devil himself, a strange reflection of those lost in Yemen. Alaba Offensive Kogosi The so far unmentioned ground fight was begining to heat up, with the enemy Fighters mixed into a stalemate that would soon shift into Aksoems direction (thanks to the skillful destruction of the enemy SAM's) more soldiers could be bought into the Kogosi theatre, more would come much later after the Terlaka had been secured, for now working with their given resources. Primary goal had been given to deny Eyyguian artillery the chance to set up, having seen their artillery moving forwards, the Aksoemites would need to open the firing on this line, aiming to hit the enemy firing position, they hoped to clear the way for a sweeping advance of Armour in the next barrage. Alaba Offensive Nkruma (OOC: Unlike the Kogosi, where I could just move on regardless of the assumed manuveurs of my Rats, I can't really act in this front until you edit your response, so don't post until I've edited this front, watch this space) Alaba Offensive Denali In rough contrast to the opposite end of the Aksoem line, here would be where the Aksoem morale would likely collapse, the enemy had began to press forwards with their Armour, the Aksoemites returned the favour, pressing forwards with their own T-90's, a huddled mass of Armour and Infantrymen met in the no mans land, the struggle for this region was beggining, and Kibwe hoped to be the one to push Eyygui over the edge. With the Denali river drying up, there was nothing removing the chance of this theatre spilling over into the Nkruma, those soldiers on the Western edge would have to encircle the enemy, prevent them from pushing anywhere to the west, so naturally, here was where the most importance was placed for a victory, Tank traps were laid down on the banks of the Denali, and the land softened to ensure that, dry as it was, the still soft terrain would be uncrossable, a massive surge of Tanks was ordered, aiming to soften or bring down the enemies own armour capabilities, followed by the securing of terrain by the deployed Infantrymen. As with its Western edge, the East faced a difficult prospect too, the opportunity was open to flank the Eyyguians, but to leave the coastal corridor un-guarded, it would be a gamble to sieze this tactical grace, and one Kibwe was not about to surrender, onwards, Aksoemites tanks charged round the Eyyguian line, pushing across towards the center, one brother in the East helping his brother towards the center, Kibwe prayed this would deny the Eyyguians their promised victory in the East. |

After days of bushwhacking and being attacked by warlord's militias, Marshal Steinberg received notice from his family of all the events taking place in the Confederacy. Understanding that in order to save his country from the tyranny of another power hungry King he would have to bring his soldiers back to the Confederacy. Steinberg issued orders stating that due to issues at home they had been ordered back to the Confederacy. Soldiers and equipment loaded onto ships and left for their home. Steinberg just hoped he wasn't too late. |

Lateral Beachhead "General Lozart, we've received word that the Confederacy has pulled out of the war. We are the only power in the South." A private handed a piece of paper to the general. The bags under his eyes seemed like purses as he read the message from the Confederacy. Fucking 'feds, thought Lozart, "I had a feeling they would pull out. Their nation is too messed up for a proper alliance." You're right, sir, we never should have trusted them", said the private, sucking up to the decorated general. The general noticed the kissass but made no motion towards it. Instead he began to draw a new strategy on the map of Aksoem. it wasn't much different from the original, except it established a more defensive position. ******************* Recruitments have arrived, 15,000 in total. Many generals have asked for another 20,000 or more to help balance the loss of the Confederate troops. This request is still pending. The beachhead has encountered no resistance, and has grown larger, encompassing a few miles. Aerial attacks have commenced, and nearby cities are being blown to pieces, breaking a path for the soldiers in the forests. Napalm rains down from the cloudy sky, marking a binary opposition with the unstoppable fire and the drizzling rain. In the forests, Lateral soldiers continue to encounter squabbles of rural Aksoemites before entering the northern portion of the nation. Any and every Aksoemite in the way of the Lateral forces has been gunned down. No chances are to be taken. Everyone is an enemy. The plentiful fruit farmers have given additional nourishment to the soldiers, now numbering 9,000 due to reinforcements. |
