The stark white private jet landed on the Eyyguian runway, Aksoem flags slapped over its tail, after taxiing to the arrival point, the stairs descended and the passengers disembarked, first off the flight were the Prime Ministers bodyguards, encircling the base of the stairs, ensuring nobody with a weapon could survive longer than five seconds, lastly came Kagiso, decked in his recognisable brown overcoat, he stepped out the circle of guards and shook hands with the welcome party, a regulation arrival. The journey to the confrence building took a short while, traffic was thin this early in the morning, it had been a concious security decision to schedule the meeting this late, and considering the location of the meeting and the rising tensions between these two states, security was paramount, Kagiso still had time to organise his questions, although the specifications for the confrence were to settle concerns about Terrorism in Eyygui, Kagiso had decided to slip in his concerns over the recent dam project, which could potentially cripple Aksoems Agricultural sector. The car slowed, stopped, and the doors opened, they had arrived, whatever concerns Aksoem had, they were now about to be confirmed or denied, in any case he had reason to be suspicious of the answer he received, the Bodyguards opened the door into the building, ready for Kagiso to take Aksoem into another event. |

As the doors opened a ray of light poured outside. It was as though he was stepping into heaven. The floor, walls and cieling were all white marble. Everyone inside was wearing white, the secretaries, aides, politicians, and even the Sun King, who greeted Kagiso as they stepped inside the Sun Palace. The Sun King had grown older it seemed. These past few weeks have had him witness Eyygui on the verge of total war. But he had been able to avoid it, which gave him a stream of confidence. "Welcome to Eyygui, Mr. Kagiso I hope your flight was enjoyable, no doubt very short. I ask that you follow me to the Cloister of Peace, where we may begin this discussion about the terrorism concerns. A large stack of classified files await you there. While it may be impossible to read them all, I am offering them to you. Unfortunatly they may not leave the room and no photographs may be taken of them." He pointed down the hall and began leading the way. "In the files you will see many photos of the leaders of the terrorist organizations. Their confessions were incredible tools in the destruction of the groups. I will allow you to hear the tapes of their confessions. In addition I will show you what they confessed to. Whenever you feel satisified with the evidence we may begin discussing a Counter-Terrorism Pact, to strengthen the security of our nations. When we finish the floor will be open to other things you may wish to discuss to take advantage of this paramount meeting." As soon as the Sun King finished speaking, they had arrived at the Cloister. Inside, still everything was pure white. The room was however decorated with many small trees and a fountain. It was a place befitting its name. |

Kagiso had never enjoyed the Sun King, a man who considered himself a God or at least God-Like always terrified him, it must have been the fear of god encouraged in him, "Mr Grunveld." He stated immediatly, in response to being reffered to by his first name, quite informal for a politician, "I believe that the Evidence is ancillary to this meeting, we both know the strain our diplomatic relationship has had over the past few decades, really I'm only here as a last measure to patch up old wounds." Kagiso took a folder from off the stack, flicked through it, and laid it back down on the stack. He found a chair and sat at the table, "I apologise for such a delay, but I shall be reading this for some time, however, being sworn to secrecy and denied permission to take these documents out of this room, when I tell this story back again, it will all seem so quick." He joked, opening a folder and scanning the contents. The last folder was slid onto the top of the pile, Kagiso rubbed his eyes, "I am satisfied, having read through what I consider to be the more important documents." There was a pause, "We must discuss the Denali river, among other things, you see yourself in a position where Aksoem could easily justify a war with your nation, and yet you continue to tense the situation, why?" |

The Sun King was somewhat daunted by this man's arrogance, yet he found it a more appetizing sample of diplomatic work than when he had to deal with the childish Temarlian dictator. "I am shocked by your comments about the Denali River. It is in Eyyguian territory, the northern part of the dam needs to be flooded to provide better farmland, the southern part of the river needs to be significantly lowered to stop the frequent flooding of several cities. A month ago, the city of Alabin suffered terrible flooding, costing the lives of 230 people, injuring several hundreds more and causing millions of Sols in damage. Our finest engineers have done studies and your people will only be helped by this dam for it will have a chance of preventing future floodings in your nation's territory." |

"Are you unaware that we require the annual flooding of the Denali river to provide a more fertile land to grow our crops?" Kagiso argued, he had become accostomed to the Eyyguians persistence that they knew what was best, "Blocking us from this resource will provoke an unstable political situation as our farmers have their profits visibly reduced, this dam will be of benefit only to the wallets of your fattest investors." |

(OOC OMG you are Spoot! lol now that i no who im dealing with..... )"This dam would benefit all my people, not just the investors. My engineers have assured me that your nation would only be minimally affected by the dam. However to compensate whatever loss your people may incur, the dam will provide power to many people along the border, many of them the very farmers you are worried about. What I also suggest is that you venture into irrigation system technology. We are in the 21st century. Those projects could bring much aid to your farmers." (OOC: Lol, as if you couldn't tell already by the style :P) "A very intelligent argument." The Sun King had essentially promised all that Kagiso wanted in return, if not missing in monetary compensation, but to make that demand would likely push a little too far, "We are currently in process of exploring irrigation techniques suited to the semi-arid terrain encountered in north Aksoem." He concluded, trying to ensure his country didn't seem like one of the backwater states. "I'd also like to discuss your current military buildup, specifically I'd like to gain assurances that you have no will to invade Africa, such an act could destabilise Aksoemite modernisation taking place in our allies countries." Kagiso paused, "We'd also like to learn what exactly the purpose of this buildup is, so that we are not both drawn into a pointless arms race." |

Kael'tha smiled, knowing that he got what he was asking for. He knew that he would somehow have to compensate Aksoem for any damage they may incur from the dam. But anything was better than a sensless war. "I am glad that we are in aggreance then. Perhaps if you wish, Eyygui has developed a titanic irrigation system which has allowed us to export much food to other nations. I would have my Agricultural Advisor show you the rough plans or he can give you a tour of the site if you wish." When he began speaking about a military buildup The Sun King looked at the man strangley "Military buildup?" he said with a puzzled expression "I have only authorized 1,000 troops to go on an expedition into Temaril to aid them in their terrorism issues. I have not authorized a military build-up of any kind. There were troops sent to the border because of the tension between Temaril and Eyygui. However that has been resolved and many of the troops are on their way home." He paused for a second to drink some water, noticing that his voice was getting a bit rasp. "However you must understand that there will always be at least minimal border guard presence at our borders. Our two nations have not exactly had a warm history. I digress, all that I have done is modernized the airforce, to keep up with the rapidly changing technologies, but there is no military buildup, perhaps your information is a bit late." "I was under the impression you had increased your military numbers and recently upgraded your Air Force." Kagiso couldn't help but feel he was being mislead, in any case it was not a point worth driving Aksoem to war over, yet, "It was probably a simple mistranslation or error in our intelligence, I don't believe there are any other concerns to express, unless youi have something to add." |

"There is nothing left I wish to discuss. The dam will be built immediatly and I shall forward the dimensions to you personally. I will also build power lines from the dam to our border, your nation will have to build the rest. I hope that is not an inconvinience. If you have nothing left to discuss then I must say it was a pleasure. I hope we may meet again under friendly circumstances." The Sun King gave his fake political smile and extended his hand towards the Prime Minister. |

Kagiso gripped the Sun Kings hand firmly, "I too wish to meet you again under friendly circumstances." Though he knew it would likely be under the hail of Aksoem gunfire, Kagiso rejoined his guard and walked out the building, back towards his armoured convoy, it had taken less time than expected, which meant he could still check on the status of Operation Corsair when he returned to Aksoem. |
