So here we go again. This time around, after criticism about the quiet cabinet, I'm going to try being a little whiny. As soon as I settle into the summer a bit I hope to begin working on a few amendments that I think will help with regional operation. Increasing term lengths to 90 days, instead of 75. Considering our election activity and competition levels (though this one was an improvement mainly due to some overparticipation by one individual), I think a slightly longer term will improve the stability of the cabinet and improve our voter participation a little while making cabinet positions that much more desirable. File the required paperwork so we can have a presidential puppet to speed up any future changes of power. Dealing with almost a month of endorsement trading is undesirable. Finally, additional forum management rights for MoDA. SG will remain in charge of managing groups and their authorizations. It was my position during the last cabinet that our current forum set up is needlessly complex with nested subforums out the wazzoo, leaving many with very few posts and making the entire thing difficult to navigate and monitor. I think that changing this falls more readily into the purview of MoDA and this is one of the topics I will be especially TG spammy about. Otherwise, new business? Old business? Bring it on. |

@ South Jarvis: could I please get one of those nice reports (an updated one) with who is in breach of residency requirements? Is there a way for me to generate them, without having to trouble you? Also, do they include the nations who are WA members but did not endorse our WAD? Thanks a lot! |

They have an embassy with Glorious Nations of Iwaku, so I would say no, but I'm not the MoFA... |

The list does not take into account WA-delegate-endorsing. Regarding doing it yourself, the code is currently not of acceptable standard to release for others to use. I intend to rewrite it to fix a number of outstanding issues, add additional functionality, and significantly improve ease-of-use. Remind me about it in a month (the 26th of June) and I'll see if I can get onto it. |

I've just reread the "So you're new to the DSA" post by StJames, and I think it should be edited. It's not correct anymore. Especially regarding the endorsements policy. Since it's referenced in our WFE, I'm sure more newcomers read that than the Charter, and it might confuse them. Can we edit it somehow to make it correct? |

Not to mention St James has been gone for some time. It's a little playful for my taste but my sense of humor is unpopular and I don't have a flair for language. I vote, considering the document is DSA property, we should copy most of it and just make a new dispatch with the modifications. |

I just want to say that I love the tongue-in-cheek style of the dispatch. (And yes, I think copying and slightly editing the dispatch is a perfectly reasonable course of action.) |

I've invited Klotecnia to becoming my adviser to the security council. They have enthusiasm and I'm hopeful it can be effectively applied. If I recall, he's already dropped out of his ambassadorial position, unless he picked it back up after the election. |
