Yes that certainly was a great achievement (perhaps the only one) of his presidency. If only his domestic policy was as good. And, you know, he didn't spy on the Democrats... |

Well he is responsible for bringing the 'silent majority" to the Republican Party too which in terms of long term party success was pretty clever |

Let's not forget that his environmental policy was perhaps the strongest the U.S. has ever had. He was responsible for the founding of the Environmental Protection Agency, halting dumping in the Great Lakes, the Clean Air Act, and lots of funding for clean water. He was a paranoid, sociopathic son of a bitch, but he isn't without his achievements. |

Really? I had no idea his environmental policy was that strong! Really if it wasnt for all those bad things he would have been a top ten president. Funny how Reagan's presidency gets claimed as the greatest ever by conservatives and he was about as corrupt as Nixon |
