Kiptokian Bid for Hosting of the Spartacus Cup
Jan Mazurkiewicz, Great President George Nilenbunter, Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffery Coughlin, President of Ruselia

Preface:

As Minister of Foreign Affairs for the People's Republic of Kiptoke, I do implore the leaders of the Spartacus Cup to bring it's games to Kiptoke and Ruselia.

We would like to promote the idea of internal unity in this Spartacus Cup, and to signify that, both Kiptoke and Ruselia are working together to host the Spartacus Games

We do know that the PRK has been cast under a shadow of doubt after recent events, but we would like to use this event to show the Democratic Socialist Assembly the nation that is the People's Republic of Kiptoke.

With that, I am gracious to be able to submit a vote on behalf of the two nations, and hope that this bid is given the same consideration as others, and wish good luck to all.

Signed,

George Nilenbunter, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Stadiums:

The People's Republic of Kiptoke can ensure at least 8 stadiums with a capacity of 50,000 or more, the PRK recently finished another stadium at the capitol that is expected to hold 75,000. Ruselia can ensure 3 with 50,000 or more.

Both nations pride themselves on the quality of it's stadiums, each stadium has a task force that regularly cleans and maintains the stadiums in peak operation.

Locations:

Belomirsk is the capitol of the PRK, it currently holds two stadiums. The city is very diverse in it's culture, it contains a multitude of art galleries and the world famous Kiptokian National Orchestra. The city has gone through some major sporting events, and is well prepared to handle the crowds of the Spartacus Cup.

Kiptoke City is the largest city of the PRK, it holds the second largest stadium of the nation. This city is very cosmopolitan, it is usually the central location of business and tourism in the nation. The city is celebrating the hundredth anniversary of it's founding, with large cultural events.

Conowice, the capitol of Ruselia, is considered the birthplace of Kiptokian football, it was where Sarah Sobrina, a British diplomat, introduced football in a short game with some local leaders. It was the site of the first Kiptokian football club and holds large amounts of football memorabilia. It holds two stadiums.

Skarszewy, a border city between Kiptoke and Ruselia, was the host of the first national football tournament, and holds one stadium. Both governments have agreed to aid in the preparation of this town for the Spartacus Cup.

All these cities are prepared for the hosting of the Spartacus Cup.

The other stadiums are located throughout the nation, but the People's Republic of Kiptoke would like to emphasize these four cities most in it's bid.

Transportation:

Belomirsk, Kiptoke City, and Conowice both hold recently updated international airports, and large metro systems. There is also a high speed maglev running between the three cities.

Skarszewy is availiable through regional air travel or train.

Multiple ports and other international airports are available for transport from any nation.

The only issue area would be the stadium on the island of Elsing, where the only transportation is an hourly ferry. However, the PRK is open to renovating the airport on the island to international travel.

Culture and Language:

Kiptoke has a diverse culture, a rich orchestral history and a multitude of national parks and museums. It's orchestras are world renowned, and its museums hold some of the world's most famous art. It's people are accepting of all cultures, and diversity is a key word in Kiptoke today.

Ruselia is a melting pot of English and German cultures, a part of Conowice has even been dubbed a "Little Britain". Multiple national embassies reside here, and a large section of the city is dedicated to it's international tastes.

Both nations view English, German, and Russian as official languages, and if needed, a 24 hour translator helpline is available.

Economic Impact:

The games would affect both nations economies positively, however, our nation would require a few loans to completely prepare for the Cup.

However, ticket sales and tourist attractions would help the governments create enough profits to pay back the loans. All profits will be drawn back into the nation, to support social services and help pay for new services.

Conclusion:

In short, the People's Republic of Kiptoke and the United States of Ruselia would be honored to host the first Spartacus Cup, and it's gains would benefit the people, the nation, and the region. This opportunity would help show the world that these two nations are not backwards, bickering enemies, but two great nations.

We now thank the Committee for it's considerations and wish well for all competitors and for other nations.

Signed,

Jan Mazrkiewicz, Great President

George Nilenbunter, Minister of Foriegn Affairs

Geoffery Coughlin, President of Ruselia

Daniel Coleman, Minister of Recreation

The poll is now up and you have four days (the amount of time for a DSA by-election) from now to vote on your favourite. If any bid wins a majority of the vote, that bid shall be selected as the winning host bid for the Spartacus Cup. If no bid wins a majority of the vote, the bid with the fewest votes will be eliminated and we will hold a second ballot, where the bid with more votes shall win.

Hmm funny Gervase. But we still need a country to hold the games.

Let's play a game. It's called: "The country with Dutch as a national language wins!"

:P

Hmm... what about heads/tails. To make it legitimate, the two partaking nations will telegram each-other containing which side they pick. Then, a trusted person (Gervase?) says which side has won.

The only problem is that we have three contenders...

Maybe me and Kiptoke with the winner against the SJI, considering he had the lead for a while, and it was his idea?

Maybe we draw lots to see who is eliminated, then hold a new vote between the two remaining candidates?

Put the names of each country on a slip of paper, place them in a pot, mix them up and either draw two out to have them advance or draw one out to eliminate them.

It would obviously be best if a nation not bidding did this, of course.
