I think that it might be practical for roleplaying to define certain seas, and maybe even continents and landmasses.

Below, I've outlined a proposal for how we might divide up the seas. Of course, the divisions are probably very crude, since it is quite hard to tell what constitutes a single body of water with the DSA's archipelagic structure.
The seven (well, eight) seas of the DSA

In the mean time, as far as I'm concerned, Lemur Isles is located in the Meridian Sea :P

Can I suggest a name for the little corner of sea down in the south-west that is un-labeled? As the Grolschian Gulf? In honor of an important nation to both my primary region, and the DSA?

I'd be happy with the sea to my west being named the North Sea (instead of Northern Sea) and the sea to my east the East Sea.

For 'B' the Suceavijan and Taradeshan Seas are smaller seas within a larger unnamed ocean, like the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas are smaller seas inside the Mediterranean Sea.

I would like to propose that the larger 'B' sea be named the Laevendell Ocean

One of the unnamed oceans should be called the Sea of Solidarity :)

Being in Horgr's part of the map I endorse his suggestion. Furthermore I'd like to propose that the body of water between Marxhaven, Corujea and Kandorith be marked on the map as the "The Sea of Owls".

Could the bay where my nation's capital is located be called the Bay of Bastet?

I would like the sea right about where my name is (sorry!) the Litera-Sea? If you don't want to move my name, then the one to the south of my country will do.

The boundaries of course are debatable, but I think that roughly divides the Seas well enough.
I have some suggestions for the names of the different seas:
A. Opalaline Sea (after our founder)/Sea of Jotunland (after our original mapmaker)
B. (This one might even need to be further divided) - On the existing map it is already labelled as the Suceavijan Sea, or the Taradeshan Sea, either would do I think.
C. I propose this one be called the Meridian Sea
D. (This one could possibly be merged with E) I don't know what to call it
E. The Juventine Sea?
F. Northern Sea/Sea of Herrebrugh/Sea of Gullud
G. The Bazlantine Sea?
H. Again, I don't know

Of course, this doesn't begin to cover every little sea, but I don't think that matters. It could be left up to individual nations to name all the straights and inlets immediately surrounding them (if they so desire).
B is fine. D is the one that looks like it needs dividing. The waters above Verince could be given to H. Bulding upon Suceavija's idea, we could name E the Sea of Solidarity, since it borders so many nations. The dotted area to the right of it could be called Bay of Juventine, or The Juventine Sound.

Since it looks like Terlibe already has a strait all to themselves, I'll ask that the one on my side be named: Kenzie Strait.
(get it? can't see straight? :D )
