I've taken that test so many times, that I already know the result before I take it. INTJ And strangely enough, it's true! I have often felt drained from social situations. Sometimes I even really enjoyed myself, only to feel like dirt later. As for intuition, I pride myself on it. There are too many times where I have ignored a gut feeling only to regret it later. Conversely, going with it has never let me down. ![]() And now for my results: Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(62%) Judging(44%) You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%) You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%) You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%) You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%) This test, among other things, is one of many reasons why I have taken a keen interest in Carl Jung. Unlike Freud who almost pessimisticly attributes practically everything to sex, Jung's take on dreams, archetypes, and collective unconscious are a lot more genuine, imho. Most particularly what he descibes as Anima and Animus: neglected shadow selves. Reconciling these rejected traits theoretically leads to a more whole self. Edited by Ratateague, 8 Jun 2013, 23:17.

I'm apparently an "Idealist".
"According to Myers-Briggs, INFPs focus much of their energy on an inner world dominated by intense feeling and deeply held ethics. They seek an external life that is in keeping with these values. Loyal to the people and causes important to them, INFPs can quickly spot opportunities to implement their ideals. They are curious to understand those around them, and so are accepting and flexible unless their values are threatened." Fits like a glove. I'm absolutely loyal to my friends and colleagues (unless they cross me, when they'll regret it), but more loyal to my values. I cannot fathom attempting to do anything that would violate my deeply held beliefs, and I always fight and debate based on emotion and values. But I try to avoid conflict whenever possible (which is probably for the best ).

Same as me The Saint James Islands So far it seems like we're the only ones so far who use "feeling" over "thinking." Ratateague, I agree that Carl Jung is a lot better than Freud. I'm convinced that even Freud didn't believe his own theories! |

I actually find there are many things in INFJ that match my personality. |

Grobladonia, perhaps it's the introverted intuition? INFJs have introverted intuition as their primary function, and ENTJs have it as a second function. See here: INFJ Functions: ![]() ENTJ Functions: ![]() I'd also like to mention that the quizes can be misleading and inaccurate. The best way is to research personality functions (like, introverted sensing, extraverted thinking, or introverted feeling, etc.), and then determine what the dominant functions of your personality, and find out what type that corresponds to. The problem is, that can take time, and the simple tests are easier! Not that I'm saying you were mistyped, I just want to mention that for everyone

Actually, the aspects that matched me were those about holding deep convictions, being very selective about friends and nonverbal sensitivity. |
