Well it has been a very hard week with all of the disputes with TI. I hope the next two weeks will be more peaceful. In the meantime, I think we should catch up on domestic issues.

Items for the entire Cabinet to address:

1. Peace Treaty with The Internationale
Postponed until later

2. Review jobs offered in the 'Help Wanted' subforum (if you want an assistant for your ministry, post the job in the subforum)

3. LRA Charter & Treaty (essentially replaces the UDLR)

4. Arnhelm Declaration of Recruitment Standards (ADRS)
Needs to be added to the next vote

5. Complete commendation for Grolsch
Needs to be written and added to the next vote. We have to decided who will write this.

6. Prepared ministerial statements workshop (ongoing project)
This has been largely inactive for some time, but this is not a priority at the moment.

7. Prohibitions on Cabinet members' extra-regional activities workshop (Amendment #38)
Needs to be written and added to the next vote. Liberals of America agreed to right this in a few weeks, but we could choose someone else if we want this done sooner.

8. Recommencement of the IRC channel
This has been out of use for quite some time, but it could be a good way to improve communication on the forums, if reinstated.

9. Proposed back up Secretary-General and President in the case of inactivity (Grobladonia)

10. PF and CR requirements amendment (Currently Being written by Suceavija)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items for individual ministries to address:

Secretary General (SG):
1. Determine if appropriate to declassify previous closed-door Cabinet meeting notes --> this should not be done right now. We are still in the dispute with the Internationale.
2. Prepare another referendum of the 5th term: voting on LRA Charter CA #38, ADRS, Commendation for Grolsch
3. Determine who will write the various amendments and documents currently proposed with the P/WAD and Cabinet.
4. Create Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section in 'Introduction' forum, edit 'About the Democratic Socialist Assembly' to include link to FAQ's.
5. Make sure everything is updated (Amendments, Charter nations, etc.)

Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA):
1. Appoint ambassadors to interregional partners (I don't know if any new ambassadors have been appointed)
2. Make embassy recommendations to P/WAD
--United Empire of Islam
--League of rogues
--The South Europe Union
3. Prepare interregional intelligence report for CAB
--Interregional partners/allies
--Interregional adversaries
--Other regions of interest, if any

Minister of Justice/Head of Supreme Court (MoJ):
1. Audit region for Civil Rights (CR), Political Freedoms (PF), and National Categories (NC) compliance --> Report to SG
--There are quite a few violators at the moment, and they need to be informed of this.
2. Make recommendations to P/WAD for nations to eject, if any

Minister of Immigration/Regional Promotion (MIRP):
1. Determine target regions (verify none are included in the ADRS)
2. Verify if/when interregional leftist fair is being held

Minister of Domestic Affairs (MDA):
1. Declare new juicy/interesting debate in Debate Hall
--Possibly the Venezuelan one you were talking about

2. Finish up the poll you are currently working and present it the nations from TI and the DSA.
3. Spark up some RMB conversation that does not involve TI

Minister of Cartography (MoC):
1. Verify all nations on map are:
--Existing
--Reside in the region (domestic puppets okay, too)
2. Add nations from map opt-in subforum who request placement on map

I'd really like to see the list of nations that are at risk of ejection and their responses to having been notified of their non-compliance with the charter requirements. Have all of them used up their five-day probationary period?

Most of them were actually put on probation weeks ago.

I just don't want to eject all 15 at once, so that's why I asked Ratateague to list them and their improvements. Unfortunately, I probably will have to eject most of them.

@Terlibe The poll sounds like a great idea. I think that in the comments some nations could say what they would like done differently.

EDIT: Currently, only Serendipera and Hippies Man are in the prohibited categories, so if they have been already passed their probation, I will be ejecting them.

Is my seal too big? I know it has nothing to do with anything we are talking about, but I was looking at it and wondering. XD

I figured as much. Alas, it's a shame to see them go regardless.

@Terlibe Mine is about the same size, so I don't think that it's too big.

About the poll on Cabinet performance: I'm thinking it could be done in the middle part of the Cabinet's term to give us time to achieve whatever objectives we have but also time to take the feedback we receive into account and make improvements. It could even become a regular thing during the term of each Cabinet.

P.S. Your emblem is just fine Terlibe :)

Hey all, sorry for the delay. Here is what I have to report.

The following nations have also passed their probationary period:

Aesthetice, Finaira, La Pays de Soliel, and Unibotian WASC Mission (Unibot puppet) have received a notice and have logged on since, but have made no attempts to remediate.

Raxakilin (SLU puppet), Socialist Ohio, Jamal Giants, Granadias, Emanita, Acquim, and Martenia have received a notice but have not logged in to receive it.

Gunnerxlll, GhostNinja, and NewTalensmoon, have received a notice, and have made attempts to remediate.

I haven't bothered to list the nations that have CTE'd or left, but I am happy to announce that 3-4 nations have met compliance within the deadline. A majority of the offenders are merely at "average" rights, and I am looking at 15+ more that I will have to telegram mostly due to that. It seems like our recent change to rights requirements, as ideologically well-intentioned as it was, suffers from impracticality. Especially since newly-founded nations will be taking bigger hits to freedoms, and falling out of compliance easily, as quickly as they join our region. I'd suggest reversing the requirements, or changing "Average" to a buffer zone, in which an alert is sent but no probation is issued. Otherwise, we stand to lose a lot more than we can bring in via recruiting, and creates a helluva lot of work for me. Using the old requirements, I need only look at an NS tracker to find offenders, but with the new, I have to scroll through our entire region list.

@Ratateague I agree. I think that I actually voted against that amendment when it came up a few months ago. There are definitely far too many nations that have not met up with the current PF and CR requirements. Unfortunately, I will have to eject these nations, but we should write an amendment to possibly lower the requirements.

Personally, I would vote against lowering the requirements. I would, however, vote for a longer period of time for them to fix themselves.
