They are a bit bigger than the original flag since I needed space in order to write, but they can be re-sized with ease. Thoughts?

Not bad. I was thinking of maybe changing the color scheme a bit, so if you could do that, the flags would be perfect.

Change it in what way precisely? Reverse the colors? Or did you have something else in mind?

I just got an idea. I was thinking of posting a debate on the Venezuelan model of Socialism, but that could wait. Instead I was thinking of one titled "Where to now? - New paths and objectives for the DSA" or somesuch to be started on April 8th. I'm not really sure about this title so I'll keep working on it.

The idea would be that two years after its founding, what should be the new direction of the DSA? As a newcomer it looks to me like much energy was spent in the early days on opposition to CMK, but that is now fading as the DSAlliance also slowly fades away. New objectives need to be set to point the DSA to the future, rather than the past.

What do you think? :)

EDIT:

For the sake of expediency I've created a reversed color version of the celebratory flags I posted earlier. I'm not sure this is what you were referring to, but time is short. A word of warning: these are not all that great and somebody else could probably do a much better job at this than me. My skills in image editing are still a work in progress.

These are a bit pixelated, so if you could change that that would be great. The flags do necessarily have to be different, so if we run out of time, we can always use those first 4 flags you posted.

Regarding the debates, feel free to post any debate you want, and I don't think you need to wait for the venezuelan one.

I'm afraid the pixelated version is the best I cand do when it comes to inverted colors. The only way I could do it better would be if I remade the flag from scratch and I don't know how to do that. I'll keep experimenting, but I doubt I'll be able to make anything better.

The Venezuelan debate will come, but i think it would be best if the discussion on what people think should be the future course of the DSA should be front and center on DSA Day :)

EDIT: do you have a large resolution version of the flag? That might help too.

Unfortunately, that is the largest flag I could find. I think that any one of those 1st four flags would work though. Also, I think I am going to change the flag to the 1st flag you posted at 12 PM eastern time (I think thats 7:00 for you in Romania). I'll also change the skin at that same time.

Has anyone read the proposed "Condemn Unibot III"? It's garbage!

I read through it and a lot of it makes no sense. Strangely, its writer actually sent me a telegram to support it even though Unibot III was a member of region and congress (sadly Unibot III actually just decided to leave NS). I responded strongly against his proposal, but putting aside the fact that Unibot III is our comrade, the actual text is very contradictory and badly written.

I know that foreign policy is not my department but with the emergence of a new "Repeal Liberate NAZI EUROPE" I feel I need to make a recommendation since it's a scenario I've run in my head several times so far.

As far as I can tell the policy here is that the WAD votes in the way the majority of the DSA's members vote, which makes sense. For now there seems to be no visible voting trend and the resolution has absolutely no chance of passing in any case, but if the majority of the DSA votes "For" the repeal I recommend that the you abstain from voting. Even a majority of DSA nations supporting the repeal has chances of damaging the negotiations for the treaty with The Internationale but with the WAD putting the whole weight of the region officially behind the repeal could kill it outright.

There are many things I don't like about this idea since it's somewhat undemocratic, but pragmatically it seems to be the best option available.
