Yppedia article for the basics I haven't found many good videos but I'll add more which i deem a good performance short vid of how cascades looks like Not the best as this pirate pauses a few times which costs valuable seconds An ok video General things to know 1. This is a time based game, like gunning Opportunities to play this puzzle are short, therefore you need to build up your score fast by clicking fast, combos/groups that triggers a chain reaction 2. Chests do not contribute to the score, or at least scores very little in comparison Generally its possible to score incredible and haul up chests at the same time, but usually a chest in the middle can slow your coin flying unless you're lucky enough to flip the coins just as fast, or you had 2 red gems adjacent triggered 3. Cascades are very important Clicking fast will never be faster than a chain reaction, as several groups can be caught in a cascade, if your fast combos aren't causing these then you're scoring at a 'good' rate despite how fast you're clicking 4. Combine gems the first video above shows 3 green gems being scored in one go, think of them like crabs, clicking a gem individually does not score as good as crabs done at the same time. Usually I prefer to reserve these as backup if I'm puzzling great (eg coins flying constantly) until my luck runs dry. These helps clear a few coins at the top to refresh the board for more good combos. 5. Recognize the patterns The combos/patterns are same as bilge, though you have about 8 seconds to make your move in that puzzle, here you're expected to move instantly, as efficency isn't important. Although focusing on getting fast doubles/bingos does help overall but never hesitate. 6. Don't get mesmerised by the cascades, click alternatively from side to side I know its odd to say, but don't watch the cascades to stop before finding more moves, while the coins are flying usually the coins at the top are still so you can spot more patterns to make so you can click soon after the cascades stops. Also if you click from on side then to the other you reserve a corner of still coins to watch out for patterns.Every second counts. If you want to work up your Treasure Haul to a high standing, its generally agreed upon that if you get up to a certain standing consistently in Atlantis, you're very likely to do better (1 standing up) in a flotilla, because chests wont enter into the puzzle. But if you want to have fun, Atlantis provides more opportunity. Happy Treasure Hauling Edited by Reichi, Feb 8 2008, 04:12 AM.
