If N64 is included, then I still play that... a lot... Otherwise, I haven't touched my NES in years. I have copies of old NES games on newer consoles (bunch of NES games on my GBA: SP, along with Wario's Woods on VC). I also have Sega Mega Drive: Ultimate Collection for XBox 360, which is nice because I never had a Sega console. So yeah, I still play the older games. |

I have never played or even seen an NES or SNES... I wasn't around during those times and I didn't come into video games until the end of the Gamecube era. No where I know sells as old as that, sadly. There is one place... but they rip you off (they took in an N64, 4-5 games, and 3 controllers for only $17 total and it costs $40 for a N64 w/cords. They also took about 20 games for the price of $14... I sold in about maybe 4-5 games and got the same). I do not have any Nintendo systems other than the Gamecube and GBA... but from time to time I borrow an N64 from my friend and spend countless hours playing games like Paper Mario and Ocarina. So I really don't... but I still recognize the older systems as being the best. |
![]() ![]() Haha n00b I know where Batman lives! A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: "That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen. Ugh!" The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: "The driver just insulted me!" The man says: "You go right up there and tell him off – go ahead, I'll hold your monkey for you." Spoiler: click to toggle

I usually play older games more than newer games I have a SNES and a N64 and quite a number of ports. My boyfriend has many of the games that I dont have so usually I just got to town on those as well. Since I'm a big fan of platformers older games usually fit me more. |

I have a NES, SNES, N64, GCN and Wii, and do you think I want any of them to attract dust? ![]() Hell, even emulation of the first three on the Wii could leave them obsolete in the future, but sometimes it just feels good to find a cartridge and play my old save files! Can't say I'm a fan of the Virtual Console's handling of PAL releases, and I don't want to rebuy games I already possess in cartridge form, eg Super Mario Bros. series, Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time Edited by snes101, Dec 14 2009, 06:33:01 PM.

Speakin' of that our three systems are old and works when it wants to work! Like our N64 it's dead due to a Gameshark error I did which I should have put in right which resulted death to the n64 and the NES it still works but it's locking up as usual but it still works but with major problems on the old NES advantage Controller! And our SNES's Adapter went the wire that Connects on the console is no longer soldered which was a fix when it was fine and now we can't find a replacement of this adapter now. Also the bad thing about the SNES is that the wire to the controller is now dead and no longer fixable! To me this is a my own way to play retro games on VC when your console doesn't work as it should! Edited by Zonic The Zone Cop, Dec 15 2009, 09:07:56 PM.

The power adapter for my SNES/NES is faulty, you have to move it around to find the right 'spot', but becomes fine after it heats up a bit. That's the only real error I've had with my gaming consoles, I repaired my NES last year by replacing the 72-pin connector. Isn't terribly difficult to do either, just unscrew, disconnect the existing connector and hook up the new one.My N64 analog sticks are however, faulty as well. Well not completely, they've just turned to ****. This is when I resort to emulation, and no, I'm not talking about the Virtual Console. I'm talking about true widescreen in high resolutions. Not that POS the VC offers.

Both my NES(es) have been lame as hell when it comes to playing games. Put the cartridge in, it buggers up. Take the cartridge out, blow it, put it back in, buggers up. Bash the sh*t out of the NES, get the occasional picture with numbers flying around everywhere... ...eventually gets there, but by that stage you cbf playing it. My N64, however, has been good to me. Never needed to blow an N64 cartridge.

I get nostalgic from time to time and download games I loved as a kid. I've downloaded sonic 2, Alex Kidd, Bomberraid, Comander Keen. And lemmings, but I downloaded that for the sega rom, so the controls were pretty whacked out the computer version that I had when I was a kid was way better. Damn, now I want to play Lemmings!! |

Man, would I like to be one of Fanta's video games But seriously, I still play SNES and Game Boy games. They still work just fine, since I take good care of them. I play them less nowadays than I used to, because of all these newer games I've gotten, but I definitely haven't forgotten them. |

My SNES is in almost perfect condition with the exception of a select button on one of the controllers that doesnt always work and since I'm one of the people that uses theirs quite a bit, its frustrating. My 64 games always need to be messed with though, its not even the system because thats only been with me but all the games I ever owned on it were used. |

My SNES sure is dirty. Originally it was light grey but now it's got a yellowish haze. And I had to replace the controllers several years ago, because the Start button was stuck on both of them, so that it hardly ever worked, which was lethal in games that require use of the Start button. And then a few years back my older sister let my niece play with one of the new controllers, and surprise, she broke it. |
