Goomba Posts: 22 Group: Members Member #215 Joined: Aug 17 2009 Gender Male	In my state, Oklahoma, currently they are trying to ban texting while driving. I do agree that it could be dangerous but it would be very hard to enforce. If you don't get in a wreck, they won't look at your phone records or suspect anything. What are your views on this?

It annoys the crap out of me and whenever people do it, I feel very uncomfortable. I watched Myth Busters once and they discovered that using mobiles phones while driving was just as dangerous as driving drunk. You wouldn't disagree with Myth Busters, now would you? I also thing those 'hands-free' things should be banned because the dangerousness comes from the distraction, not from the fact that you're holding it.

In fact my dad almost got hit by a texting driver the other day.

The Waffle Queen Posts: 1,543 Group: Global Moderators Member #11 Joined: Jan 25 2008	I struggle enough to pay attention to cars around me, my speed, traffic lights, turning corners, which direction I have to go next... etc etc while driving. How people can concentrate while texting or talking on the phone is beyond me XD There are so many things to concentrate on already!! Its really dangerous so I think it should be banned... And think it already is over here, but Im not 100% sure.
