:fox:

When Miyamoto was asked about any franchises that didn't quite get the public response that he had hoped, this was his response:

"I tend to forget those games [laughs]. I'm a big fan of the 'Star Fox' games. Every time we make a 'Star Fox' game I'm hoping people will enjoy it as much as I do. Of course the goal every time is to try and make it more and more fun but, at least in Japan, the people that purchase the 'Star Fox' games has decreased over the years. But we still try to make them more fun and hopefully people will see the appeal in those games."

What are your thoughts on the matter?

I SEE YOU!
Star Fox isn't big because they don't do enough with the series. I mean theres only 5-6 games or so. Make more games, and don't make them cheap or anything (well of course someone won't like the game but quack them)

They only have 5 at the moment. :(

They have a huge fanbase online though, not to mention the memes. I'd love for a Star Fox on Wii (but the creator doesn't want to make one) that returned to something LW/SF64. They tried to do it with SFAssault, but they took away some of the bits I loved about the N64 game. The alternate paths and good dialogue.

SFAdventures took a twist on the series and although it may not have been the best step, I loved the game anyway.

You'd think a shooting game about furries would be more popular. Everyone loves furries!

THE MAJOR RAGER ON THE 6-STRINGED MOTHER%$@!ER!...I wish...
Well, I didn't like Adventures or Command at all(Adventures wasn't even Starfox if you ask me...=/ There were...3 flying parts in the entire game?), but if they were to release a REAL sequel to SF64, I'd be the first in line to get it. =P

I love Adventures. It's a great game, and yes there are flying parts.
