THE MAJOR RAGER ON THE 6-STRINGED MOTHER%$@!ER!...I wish...
I'm not 100% sure, but tactical shooters aggravate me at times, I can't stand F1 games(though I love me some Forza), and I've never been a fan of turn-based strategy games outside of Heroes Of Might And Magic III...oh, and "art" games like Patapon and Shadow Of The Colossus, don't get me started on those...

Not a fan of shooters either, but I guess it depends on the game. Not a fan of realistic racing games, but again, depends on the game. Don't like realistic sporting games, but don't mind ones like Wii Sports and Mario Tennis.

Oh, and shovelware. There should be a genre for that, simply so I can dislike it.

What would shovelware be? does it have anything to do with shovels? or perhaps shoveling snow?

I wouldn't say Metroid is the best example of an FPS. Well, it is an FPS, but it has adventure aspects in it as well, like LoZ. =/

The only racing games I really like are the Mario Kart ones, I hate fighting games except SSB, and the only FPS I've ever enjoyed was Halo.

I suck at platformers but I find them fun.

MMORPGs. Most of the people I saw on MMO's (I don't have MMO's of my own but have played them over at friends' houses) were a bunch of "douchey" kids who were just utterly rude and either that or unaware of what they even needed to do to play the games. WoW is completely overrated of a game. Paying monthly for something you already paid 50 dollars or more on at the store itself? Give me a break.

Guild Wars was decent in the sense you don't have to pay for it monthly, but the douches are still there.

AFAIK, Runescape isn't too bad, payment wise.

I probably hate Sports Games most of all. They completely bore me to death, and I don't even know what the heck I'm doing most of the time (I REALLY don't know my sports)

Not to mention they all seem to have the same generic names in my book, and everytime I see a new sports game...seems to be same crap, new graphics.

Third Person Shooter games suck, unless you have a FPS option (Ghost Recon 2 anybody?).
Modern Day Sports games like Madden 09 are way too complicated and suck. Give me Madden 04 and NBA Live 2000.
